And what finally made me regret, I followed the incitement of one of the orientation committee to make him keep running until he mentioned the reason" Ezra explained and laughed.

Radian saw a remorseful laughter from Ezra. The man laughed while bowing. Radian just kept waiting, didn't force him to continue the story. Ezra couldn't go on. But the man got up and walked towards the balcony and stood there staring at the cityscape from a height.

Radian followed and stood beside him. Ezra turned towards Radian.

"Is my story boring? I've never told anyone this before" said Ezra.

"No! Not boring at all, I was curious about the reason the girl did not want to answer the question of the student orientation committee," said Radian with a smile.

Ezra nodded, Radian's remark made Ezra convinced and finally continued his story.

"The girl persisted not telling her the reason even though one by one who received the punishment had left the field. Only left him alone" said Ezra.

"He stays afloat not telling me why? Then she's a hard-hearted girl" asked Radian.

The man was amazed at the hardness of the twelve-year-old girl's heart. Ezra nodded in response to Radian's question.

"While his breath was already wheezing he kept trying to run until he finally fell unconscious" replied Ezra.

"I'm the same as you, so amazed at the hardness of his heart. When I saw him pass out, I regretted punishing him" Ezra said.

"Then what do you do next? What's forgiving him and abolishing his sentence?" ask Radian.

"It should be so but another student orientation committee insisted the girl should continue the sentence the next day. If he still does not want to mention the reason," said Ezra.

"Crazy! Very cruel student orientation committee," said Radian.

"It's even crazier that I follow her words" said Ezra again with a sorry laugh.

"Without me realizing it, Livia made me wonder at her to look for her and ask to continue her sentence. Sometimes I feel like it's just my reason to go back to see him. Because of my incredible curiosity in him. I just wanted to look back at him, but I had no reason to see him. I used that cruel excuse just to be able to look him in the face. The girl looked back at me with a look I could not understand. I think he must have judged me, a ruthless head of the OSIS. When I asked him again, he still didn't answer. He also started running around the field. Seeing it like that, there was a sense of regret bringing up the punishment. Suddenly another orientation committee came up to me and asked why the girl was being punished."

"Just yesterday's student orientation committee?" ask Radian.

"No! This is another girl, she's the vice-chairman of OSIS" Ezra replied.

"I told him about yesterday's incident so that the student orientation committee decided to continue his sentence on the girl. She ... was very surprised and told that yesterday the girl had helped her who was hit by a motorbike and even drove her to the hospital. The OSIS representative even showed a wound on his arm" Ezra explained.

"He helped me but why are you punishing him?" ask the OSIS representative.

"Stay, right? This punishment is inhumane. If he does not want to explain the reason yes already, the time must be punished continuously," said the vice chairman of OSIS was upset while rubbing the face of Livia sweaty.

"Last time I was scolded by my own representative" Ezra told Radian.

Livia was speechless staring at the sandwich neatly arranged in the lunch box. Livia didn't leave as usual. Seeing that, Ezra smiled, immediately grabbed the girl's hand and invited her to sit on a bench under a tree. Ezra was so happy and felt that soon he would get an apology from the girl.

Ezra put the sandwich in Livia's palm. The girl stared at the sandwich hesitantly. Then Livia faced the other way and took off her mask. Slowly began to eat the sandwich in his hand. Ezra wishes he could eat with the girl, but Livia turns her back on him.

It's okay, just be patient, now that he's willing to accept this bread alone is enough. Didn't he have breakfast? Is he not armed with pocket money? It's so sorry, Inner Ezra.

Livia was never seen in the cafeteria because there was no way she could eat in front of the other students. Livia finally turned her face away because of the mask that Ezra had captured. The young man pulled Livia's chin towards him. That day Ezra was more daring to approach the girl, with no one around. The face that usually turns away every time the girl finishes the bread that Ezra gives.

Now the usual face turned away from him was plastered in front of Ezra. The man looked at Livia's face, showing the girl that she had absolutely no problem with the broken face.

Livia wanted to turn her face away but the grip of Ezra's hand on her chin was so tight that the girl seemed to show her face. Livia's tears flowed slowly, crying over Ezra who was still staring at her face. Livia feels that the man will also be disgusted and will avoid like his other friends.

Livia resigned, Ezra will stay good to him he will be happy, Ezra will stay away from him he will survive the bully. The girl chose silence but her tears flowed. Looking at the tears flowing down Livia's cheeks, Ezra grabbed onto Livia's nape and buried the girl's face in her chest. Livia was crying.
