"Where, Dar? How many times?" Said Si Mbah continued to raise his eyebrows repeatedly. He looked at Darto with a soft look while holding back a laugh.
Darto and Harti were suddenly scattered, then Darto stretched his fingers in both hands. He tried to show his ten fingers to answer the question Si Mbah in front of him. Seeing that Si Mbah rounded his eyes while shouting "Ten?!"
Darto and Harti were again broken, with reddened cheeks after seeing the reaction of Si Mbah in front of them. The shame still stopped even though they knew that the Mbah was just mocking, and also the answer that Darto gave was purely an essay.
After a long time they joked, one by one Kakung friends began to return. The second day of the wedding of Darto and Harti is still as crowded as yesterday. Guests never stop coming without spaces, making them busy greeting one by one people who have taken the time to congratulate him.
Elsewhere, Jaka and Abah Ramli are ready. Previously they stopped at Abah Ramli's house to prepare supplies, and when everything was ready, they left the village after saying goodbye to all ten residents of the village.
The way out of the village is only one. Every citizen is strictly prohibited through the road if not with the Village Elders. It is said that there was once someone who tried to break out, but he was lost and never found, both in the house long before he married the resident girl here, and in the village itself.
The villagers fully believe, because anyone who becomes the village elder must go through a long process and also pass on objects that can be used for an identifier that is passed down through generations. All that can come in and out of the village is the person who brought the thing.
When the two of them were already quite far away from the village, they were greeted by two enormous trees. The tree stood gallantly presenting a mossy trunk and leaves so lush on it. They walked straight towards the tree, with Abah Ramli leading the way ahead.
Jaka was stunned to see the size of the tree he had just seen for the first time, the tree was so big, it might even take four adults who had to stretch their hands to embrace the trunk. His eyes sparkled watching every branch and branch that was the same size as his body, but his admiration was scattered by the claps of Abah Ramli's hand that landed on his shoulder while saying "Let's go long."
Hearing that, Jaka immediately nodded. He followed the elder in front of him, to pass through the gap between the trees at medium speed. Until finally the tree has been successfully passed, Jaka was a little stunned to see the situation he saw.
The forest before his eyes was so dense, the bushes grew so high, there was not a single footpath that could be traversed in front of him. Surprisingly again, when Jaka swept his gaze across all directions, he did not see the two big trees he had just passed by. Jaka blinked his eyes and seemed to dream because he could not see two trees that did not even exist one minute himself and Abah Ramli passed.
"You're confused, right?" Said Abah Ramli slightly chuckling seeing Jaka constantly circling around watching his surroundings.
"Where do you go, Bah?!" Sergey Jaka with a very confused face.
"Only Abah can see that from the outside, Jaka. Try to hold Abah's hand," Abah continued while thrusting his palm.
"Abah can also give permission for people to see the tree from outside. So anyway tomorrow after home do not be far from Abah huh?" Abah Ramli is back.
Hearing that Jaka just nodded, he took his hand off Abah's hand, and instantly the big tree in front of his eyes disappeared in one blink of an eye. After seeing Jaka had understood a little, Abah took Jaka to walk to the lush shrubbery that he continuously slashed. They continued to walk without rest, until finally all the bushes that continued to be seen for hours were no longer visible. They both managed to get out of a haystack, and watched a normal forest like a forest in general.
"Why is the tree hidden, Bah? Not if so will no one know, if there is a village that we occupy? If the entrance is not there anyone can see?" Jaka said as he leaned his back against a tree. He and Abah were resting after 3 hours of walking while slashing the bush in turn.
"Our village has something to look after, no outsider should know where to store it. Our family can just get out of the village, if our task is done. Later we come to Abah's friend's place, who knows the descendants of the person we are waiting for has come," continued Abah then let out a long sigh. He also felt tired, as his strength was not as strong as it used to be.
"What's up, Bah?" Connect Jaka.
"You want to know?" Abah answered briefly with a probing look, and immediately got a nod of the head from Jaka.
"There's a condition" Abah said then sighed and spoke again"You must become the village elder first. And then Abah told me everything."
"If that's what I know, Bah!" jaka replied. He was a little sorry to have put his ears tight but the answer he got was not what he expected.
Abah chuckles at Jaka who grumbles. He grabbed the young man's head in front of him while saying "May the descendants of Kanjeng Darma already be worthy, so you can know about what tasks our family shouldered, without becoming village elders first."
After hearing Abah Ramli's words. Jaka nodded with hope. In his heart he did not care so much to quickly get a wife. But he was eager to meet someone they had been waiting for for hundreds of years. After that they continued their journey back, they continued through the dense forest without encountering anyone.
They continued to walk without rest, remembering Abah said if it was night, they should stop walking. He said that if it was hard to get dark he did not know at all which way to walk. The sun was their only direction, they continued to follow the direction of the sun sinking, until the yellow sky was already presented above their heads. This afternoon they both finally reached the lake, a place that Darto always used when he memorized. Just a few more steps, a heavy task that continues to be carried by the blood family, almost met an end point.
