That afternoon in a place far from the fight, Si Mbah Turahmin already felt his heart continue to feel bad. He even immediately felt anxious, when the bitter tea in the zinc glass in front of him suddenly fell into a nudge accidentally.

"Matt! The mat! There's no news from Darto yet?" said Si Mbah while banging on the door of Kakung's room.

Hearing that, Kakung immediately got up from the couch and opened the door of his room. Finally they sat at the dinner table while continuing to smoke cigarettes in their hands.

"My gut feeling is bad, Mat. Do we follow the Darto to the village," said Mbah Turahmin with his face looking up, while blowing a puff of smoke on his head.

"But the car was taken by Darto, Min. I was also from earlier in the room feeling restless, but I do not know why my heart became like that," replied Kakung then bowed, he slightly felt Si Mbah Turahmin's speech had a point. Because the feelings that continue to stir in his heart are not much different from the worries that Mbah Turahmin felt.

"Yes yes, Mat, how about we have a salvation later tonight after the same isya all santri. We pray, that Darto be given safety," said Si Mbah immediately looked at Kakung's face with a serious look.

"Well, I will announce in the mosque after finishing the Maghrib prayer, let them stay in the mosque after the isya prayer," replied Kakung briefly then back sucking the tree in between his fingers.

After the conversation was over, they just pensively pensively in silence, thinking about the safety of her grandson that was hard to meet for now. After a long time, Kakung got out of his seat and went to the mosque and declared the adzan magrib that afternoon.

As in the plan, almost all worshippers who perform the magrib prayer remain in the mosque when the isha prayer has been completed. They stayed to just send prayers in congregation, for the safety of Kakung and Mbah Turahmin grandchildren who have not yet sent word. After all Kakung and Mbah Turahmin went straight back into the house, they were silent and did not open much sound that night.

Elsewhere that night Darto was lying on a couch, unconscious with a hollow stomach. There was a pile of already pounded leaves covering most of the gaping wounds on his stomach. Fortunately Darto is not dead, now the blood that has continued to pour has been successfully stopped. It's just that Darto's body is still often shivering and sweating profusely even though he was fainting, he had a high fever and even occasional seizures. It is undeniable that currently Darto is on the verge of death, his life can end at any time considering the injuries he suffered so badly.

"You have to be strong, Le," said one woman, rubbing Darto's hair slowly.

In the darkness of the room, there was a woman who was caring for the wounds that Darto had. Patiently he continued to replace the cloth wrapped in Darto's stomach, replacing it with a new cloth when the old cloth was broken with Blood. Occasionally he also compresses Darto's forehead, hoping that the heat from his body subsides a little, he actually does all that on his own, after having involved Darto lying on the ground behind the village hall.

One week has passed, the letter sent by Darto finally reached the hands of Kakung and Sewah. The two of them were very cheerful when they received the letter from the postman who stopped by, but his expression changed immediately after reading the entire contents. Today they hope that there will be a follow-up letter that Darto sent, they both wait in agitation after knowing that his grandson has met with Gending.

"Patient, Nduk," said Bu Sumi as she stroked the princess in front of everyone.

"Yes, Nduk. We just pray, hopefully Darto will be here soon" continued Kakung while looking at Harti with a sad look.

Even though they were strengthening each other, they actually felt the same way. They anxiously waited for news of the man whom everyone in the room loved dearly.

"No news, it's good news Mbah" said Surip while trying to remember a saying he always heard from Kakung. Previously Surip often complained because he rarely got news from his family far away, and Kakung always said the word to strengthen himself.

Hearing that, everyone seemed calmer, because the words had a point. Sometimes a news is present just to deliver the sad news, and they assume if there is no news it means Daro is still fine.

Back where Darto lay. After fainting for a week finally this afternoon she opened her eyes. He grimaced occasionally withstanding the excruciating pain from his stomach. He tried to stand up, but his body was so limp and the pain immediately rained down from the direction of his stomach made him unable to do so. So with a heavy heart Darto back down and continue to think where he is.

Not long after Darto opened his eyes. A woman entered her room, she was carrying a clean cloth and also a container of warm water in her hands. The woman was immediately surprised to see Darto who was staring at him, he even dropped the place of water in his hand, to immediately approach Darto lying down.

"Alhamdulillah! You're awake, Le!" said the woman while stroking the head of Darto.

"Who's mother-Ib?" said Darto faltered, he could not even speak loudly because his body was so limp.

"Already! The le! This is drink first!" the woman's sergeant after hearing Darto's remarks, he did not answer questions from Darto, instead he grabbed a wooden spoon and also clear that he always provided beside the couch.

The woman is now bribing a spoonful of water into the still lying mouth of Darto, patiently taking care of Darto like his own son. And the longer Darto looked at the woman, the more Darto could remember someone he had met a long time ago.
