ADJOINING REALM
PRELIMINARY DECISION

The day was already noon, the journey of Darto, Harti and Jaka was finally over. They have arrived at the pesantren, right before the dzuhur adhan was proclaimed.

This afternoon, Darto again asked Abah Ramli something that had just returned from the mosque. He asked about Jaka's energy, because he was very curious about the dominant color similar to the chain that once constricted him.

"Can I ask you something?" ask Darto a little pleasantries, he is currently walking in tandem with Jaka and Abah Ramli.

"What, Dar? Directly if you just want to ask," replied Abah Ramli while looking at Darto.

"May I see the chain around Abah's neck?" pinta Darto after remembering he has not released Abah Ramli from Banaspati's entanglement.

"Well, I will send this necklace to your Mbah, now we wait for them to come out of the mosque" said Abah Ramli as he stepped foot.

Darto, Jaka and Abah Ramli waited for Kakung and Mbah Turahmin inside his house. The two men were known to be solemn in prayer, because they always came out of the mosque as the last person.

After quite a long time finally Kakung and Mbah Turahmin came to open the door simultaneously. Darto who saw them coming straight up from his sitting position then pulled Kakung's hand to quickly enter his house.

"What's this, Dar?" Ask Kakung a little wonder.

"Kakung came here for a while, Darto needed Kakung's help with Si Mbah" said Darto as he reached Mbah Turahmin's hand. He pulled the arms of the two old men hurriedly.

When Mbah Turahmin and Kakung arrived in the middle room. Darto immediately explained what happened to Jaka, from the moment Jaka's body began to glow, until all the demits seemed to be after him. Abah Ramli was really surprised after hearing the description of Darto, what else when Darto said if Jaka saw the fight of his ancestors in his dream.

"Nobody told me anything in my life, Dar. Our extended family no one had ever seen that fight, even if it was only in their dreams. So am I, Dar. I only heard that story from the elder before, and obviously only the elder knew about the incident, we kept it a secret so as not to create unnecessary panic," abah Ramli said as he looked at Jaka with a surprised face.

"Eat it, Bah. And fitting Jaka dream, his body until floating on the couch. I testified," replied Darto, with a look of wonder, just like the face of Abah Ramli. "Then, I tried to remove Abah's shackles, if it happened to be just as rich as Jaka. Then it's a side effect because the shackles have been removed, Bah," continued Darto back, he looked straight at Abah Ramli.

Hearing that, Sewahan, Kakung, Jaka and Abah Ramli immediately nodded. A moment later Abah Ramli took off the necklace that was coiled around his neck, then handed it to Kakung who was sitting next to him, he said, "Titip this for a while, I'm out boarding first, I'm out, here the energy that constrains me is completely invisible."

It is true, if Jaka and Abah Ramli are in the pesantren, the shackles that restrain them as if depressed, become thin, even as if not in their necks. That is the reason why Abah Ramli told Jaka to walk outside the boarding gate, so that Darto could see the energy that binds Jaka.

After handing over the necklace, Abah Ramli stood up and invited Darto to leave the boarding area. They walked hand in hand, with Jaka following behind. Jaka was very curious, as he used to not see what form of energy was binding his neck.

"Yes, Jack. Exactly the same," answered Darto briefly then grabbed the rope around Abah Ramli's neck.

The size of the rope around Abah Ramli's neck is completely different from Jaka's, almost three times thicker than the rope that once tied Jaka. For a moment Darto closed his eyes, he tried to get energy out of his hands, but the action stopped halfway. He paused his intention while saying "Jak. try you hold this."

Jaka nodded, he stepped forward, approaching the body of Abah Ramli who was only silent from earlier. Not long after he arrived, he immediately grabbed the rope that tightly tied his neck. Something strange happened, the energy wrapped around Abah Ramli just faded away. It was as if the chain had evaporated and entered Jaka's body, through every pore in his arm.

"Huh?! Am I free?" Said Abah Ramli with a face that was no less stunned by the face of Darto. She kept her neck tight, because during her lifetime she felt like she was suffocating slowly.

"Kang?! Why did it get into my hands, Kang!" Shouted Jaka with a frightened face. Upon seeing the chains that bound Abah Ramli, it seemed to enter into his arms.

Hearing that, Darto could not answer Jaka's question. Although Darto could not answer with certainty, but Darto immediately had a strong premonition about Jaka's body.

"I'm not the one all Abah's family are waiting for. They were all waiting for Jaka" said Darto as he looked at Jaka who was watching his arm.

"Kangs... What's that supposed?" Jaka asked again, he demanded an answer from Darto, because Darto did not answer questions from him, instead talking to someone.

"You have patience, Jak, I just had an estimate. But let's hope this estimate is correct" said Darto with a straight look at Jaka, and soon after he spoke to Abah Ramli, "May I take Jaka for a moment, Bah? I would like to ask someone who might know with Jaka Body. I promise when I come back, Jaka can take care of all his family."

"I can't ban it, Dar. Jaka is already big, he can already choose his own way of life. Then I took him out of the village, also to find a partner. What is clear is that we and our family are ready to let Jaka go" replied Ki Karta while looking at Jaka. She looked worried, yet she could not resist all of Jaka's wishes.

"So... How, Jak? You ready?" Tanya Darto was brief.

For a moment Jaka lowered his head, he thought carefully about what he was going to do. He was confused between going straight home and freeing all his family, or going with Darto for a while.

"It's okay if you don't want to, Jak. This is also for your good. I just mean to help, who knows one day you meet a strong figure, you can protect your family without asking for help from others again," continued Darto after seeing Jaka just lowered his head. Darto really knows that Jaka is confused right now. Fortunately, after hearing Darto's words, Jaka immediately said, "Kang. please teach Jaka, so that Jaka can be as strong as Kang Darto. I don't want to trouble anyone anymore. At least, teach Jaka to defend himself."
