SURPRISE

"Kang?! Where's the dancer?" ask one of the female spectators to the man beside her.

"I don't see either, Yu. It's really weird, let's go shady first, want this hunan, Yu," replied the man, while taking the woman down, because the originally clear sky is now starting to cloudy to black in an instant.

Seeing the incident, everyone who had been stunned began to run towards the village hall, because the wind and rain came simultaneously. They all looked hurriedly as they did not want the clothes they were wearing to be drenched in the rain.

When everyone was scattering towards the village hall. Right behind the big building, Gending and Darto were looking at each other while clutching each other's hands. They collided with energy coming out of his hands, until the atmosphere was so gripping.

When in the middle of the spectacle, without a single person looking, Darto managed to swipe his energy with Gending energy. When the two energies collide the resulting effect is very similar to a flash of lightning. Then without wasting a chance, Darto pulled Gending's hand towards the back of the village Hall which was so airy and far from the settlement. He carried Gending at a speed that could not be captured by the naked eye.

Lightning began to accompany the fight they did, even the wind that was just strong, now began to become a storm when Darto issued a long light in the form of a whip in his hand.

Gending who saw that immediately jumped five steps back, before finally putting on a wary face. He was really no stranger to the flash of light that was being held by Darto, because once the snake figure in the body of Gending had been dying because of the same energy that Darto had.

"You believe so much young! You think if you had that you could beat me?" said Gending while continuing to focus on seeing the direction of the sabetan of the whip that Darto lay.

"If you're sure, why don't you just try to take one strike from me?" said Darto smiled wryly, he humbled Gending after hearing a sentence from his lips, which was not as direct as the expression that was being plastered from his face.

"You're a brat!" gending shouted onward to call the snake saplings who were still residing in Gending's body.

The muddy muddy muddy dirt under Darto's feet instantly turned black, as hundreds if not thousands of snakes came out from under the array that Gending was wearing. All the snakes are heading in the same direction, they are approaching Darto who still continues to swing the whip in his hand. Darto who saw it did not budge at all, he continued to whip the snake saplings that approached him until they split their bodies into two parts afterwards.

The incident continued until long enough, Darto who seemed to start tired of continuing to face the snake that did not run out, began to call back two colleagues.

"Sastro! The wajana!" he shouted Darto briefly, with hands that continued to sweep in all directions.

Hearing Darto's screams, the two friends immediately came. Strangely they did not help, but just silently looked at Darto who was still trying.

"Help me!" shouted back Darto without looking at the two friends. Darto continued to focus on killing every snake that scrambled closer to him.

The two remained silent, they did not help Darto at all, instead they approached Gending who was still closing his eyes, while continuing to remove the snake saplings from the array he wore as pants.

Seeing the behavior of Sastro and Wajana, Darto was surprised at once. His eyes were rounded, even a line of veins instantly appeared on the temple of Darto. He felt so stupid that he had believed in both of them.

As Darto was busy eradicating the snake puppies, Gending whispered to Sastro and Wajana in front of him, saying something to the two men without Darto's knowledge. Then told Sastro and Wajana to leave after all his words were done.

There was only one word that was heard until Darto's ears at that time, the closing sentence that was spoken simultaneously by Sastro and Wajana, they said, "Sendiko Dawuh Nyai." (a speech that means they accept Gending's request gladly)

Darto was increasingly aghast, his vigilance was completely slack after hearing the words that Sastro and Wajana said in front of Gending. He was very disappointed and also hurt because he had to feel what he was facing. Until unknowingly one snake managed to pass through his whip and scratched his arm until it bled.

"You're weak! Young man!" gending said with a smile, looking at the blood that began to flow in Darto's arm.

Darto did not respond, he continued to swing his whip relentlessly while continuing to curse the two friends. Luckily they just kept quiet and watched from a distance, not helping Gending to attack the exhausted Darto at all.

"just like that? I'm disappointed to give you life" Gending said again, his face smiling with satisfaction after seeing Darto covered in wounds on his body.

Hearing the words, the wound on Darto's chest suddenly twitched. He recalled the moment when he was just born and instantly received a cut from the fingernail of the woman in front of him.

"I haven't lost!" darto shouted as he turned the light in his hand into a bubble that wrapped itself.

Hundreds of snakes instantly bounced when they touched the bubble that enveloped Darto's body. They could not penetrate the defenses that Darto had at all. Seeing the snake saplings that could not touch his body, Darto immediately sat cross-legged on the ground, he closed his eyes and played the flow of Darsa's relics in silence. Prayer after prayer continued Darto said, until unconsciously the snake child attached to his protector immediately burned.

"Allah, I give up my life, if this is the day you set for me to go home, then make the return of the servant not in vain. Give me the strength to end everything that has happened," said Darto sad while opening his eyes, continued to stand upright, then jumped right towards Gending standing.

Darto completely ignored the snake saplings that were still clustered under his feet, he continued to dart quickly towards Gending with completely unblinking eyes. Continuously Darto jumped, he just stepped on the ground just to find a pedestal before he finally jumped back.

And when Darto arrived right in front of Gending, Darto rushed to reach for the keris on his waist and then tried to stab the stomach with the remaining energy.

"Jully!" gending's hand made it through Darto's stomach first, before the keris in Darto's hand touched his skin.
