ADJOINING REALM
THE ATMOSPHERE MISSED PART 2

That afternoon, the sound of the Mbah Turahmin's adzan echoed throughout the village of kemoceng. After performing Maghrib prayers, Darto met with Anto, Satya and Dining.

Satya and Dining were really uncomfortable with the way Darto looked at the two of them. They were astonished because Darto continued to look at them while holding a puddle of water that had filled every corner of his eyes.

"Why are you, Dar? Strange really," said Satya after seeing Darto continues to smile with his eyes.

"It's okay, Sat, you're healthy, right?" Darto answered briefly while continuing to smile while looking at Satya and the little Dining alternately, "You too, Ning ... Your father is healthy, right?" keep Darto back.

"Alhamdulillah, Dar .. Why do you ask that?" Dining was a little confused.

"Alhamdulillah then, uh what did you guys go to the house?" Tanya Darto is back.

"Tomorrow we'll help my dad harvest some chickpeas, huh, Dar? You don't bother anymore, do you?" Answer Satya.

"By, the origin of the equivalent wage .. he he he he he," said Darto small while wailing.

Hearing that, Anto, Satya and Dining immediately chuckled softly, they really knew exactly if Darto would definitely answer their call with the word.

After that conversation, Darto and three friends just spent time joking around, until without feeling Si Mbah Turahmin again proclaimed the Adhan isya.

After the prayers, they separated. As usual, Darto walked along the rice fields that stretched between the hangar and his house.

"Mr ... There are many questions that Darto wants to ask. If Darto can sleep in Si Mbah's room, yes?" said Darto while continuing to step behind the Mbahnya Si.

"The grandson of the great Mbah is still spoiled, ha ha ha ha ... Sure, Dar. Later Simbah answer all your questions," replied Mbah Turahmin while looking back.

Hearing the simple answer, Darto immediately gave a smile on his lips, then approached Si Mbah Turahmin, and took the wrinkled palm of his Mbah.

In the middle of the journey, Darto had turned to the lush banana trees in the middle of the rice field.

"He's been there a long time?" said Darto while staring at the black creature that continues to stand under the tree, just like the creature he met in his old life.

"Can you see?!" sahut Mbah Turahmin was a little surprised.

"Already, Mbah ...," Darto replied while nodding.

"Great, the grandson of the Mbah is indeed great," replied Si Mbah Turahmin as he put a smile on his face, "Come quickly .. It seems your request to sleep in Si Mbah's room is right. Many things also that Si Mbah wants to convey," continued Si Mbah back.

After saying the word, Mbah turahmin immediately widened his steps, he stepped hastily, to quickly reach the house where he stopped.

Arriving at home, Si Mbah Turahmin immediately turned on the flashing lights in the living room, then mix cigarettes, while asking his grandson, "Since when can you see them, Dar? You're not scared?"

"You've been smoking? Who told you how to roll?!" Mbah Turahmin was really surprised to see the skill of Darto when concocting and rolling cigarettes in his hands.

Hearing that, Darto immediately muttered in his heart, he was guessing if in this life he had never smoked at all. After finding an answer that felt quite appropriate, Darto finally said, "Darto only often saw Si Mbah doing this, so Darto was just curious and wanted to try. It's easy, Mbah?"

"This is the first time you've ever made a cigarette? Try here your cigarette," he said as he grabbed a cigarette in Darto's hand, lit a handmade cigarette Darto, then said, "It can fit this taste ... Indeed, Si Mbah's grandson of this one, he he he he he...."

Hearing that, Darto also chuckled, then grabbed a cigarette that was already Si Mbah to then light it. "I can smoke, right, Mbah?" Darto asked right after lighting a cigarette in his hand.

"May you please, you are 12 years old now, you are big enough," replied Si Mbah briefly then again sip a cigarette made by his grandson.

After that, the two of them just sat down to enjoy the puff of smoke that continued to dance filled their throat cavity as well as their chest, not a single word being spoken for quite a long time.

"Mr ... Has the Mbah ever dreamed of going back to his old life?" Tanya Darto after enjoying the silence for quite a while.

"You mean what, Dar?" ask the Mbah back.

"Did the Mbah ever dream about the past? It looks like Darto is undergoing what Darto has experienced before, now Darto returns to a time where Darto was 12 years old as Si Mbah said," said Darto with a serious face.

"So? You want to tell me you've grown up before? Ha ha ha ha ... There's-there's you, Dar. Everyone has dreamed, let alone their past, they are very easy to dream of whatever they miss, because before going to bed they often think about it," replied Si Mbah a little funny.

"Does the Mbah not believe?" I know all, Mbah. I know what Si Mbah looks like, I know about Kakung too, I even know about all the exams that our family has always done, since the death of Eyang Darsa," darto said with a very serious face.

Cigarettes between the fingers of the Mbah Turahmin immediately fell. He was astonished by the sentence that his grandson had just spoken, he really could not believe the truth of every sentence that had just come out of the lips of the little young man, who was sitting before his eyes.

"Dar ... Did you graduate?" Ask Si Mbah mudu, with lips, hands and even feet that continue to vibrate violently.

"Jih, Mbah. Darto graduated because of the help of Si Mbah and Kakung," replied Darto briefly as he looked compassionately at Si Mbah Turahmin who was shaking violently in front of him.

"Alhamdulillah ... Alhamdulillah ... Alhamdulillah ..," said Mbah Turahmin continuously. He grabbed Darto's body, then clenched tightly to his grandson's tiny body. He really cried, even he sobbed when he kissed Darto's forehead in a row, "It seems like something is wrong here, Dar. Si Mbah will help you no matter how," continued Si Mbah while continuing to hold, and ruffled his grandson's hair.

"Please Darto, Mbah. Darto knew this was not a dream, but Darto was also unsure if this was an illusion. Darto must return" said Darto while buried his head in the chest of Si Mbah Turahmin.

"You take it easy, Dar, Si Mbah will help as much as Si Mbah can," replied Si Mbah as he took off his embrace, he pushed Darto's body, then held his grandson's shoulder using both hands, "Now we better sleep, let's find a way out tomorrow," continued Si Mbah back.

Hearing all the answers, Darto became increasingly confused. How can this be a dream? Isn't this too real?

Where is Darto? Is he going back in time? I don't know .. Let's just wait for the continuation.
