After agreeing, Jaka gave Kalung giving his mother to Darto, then grabbed the money that Darto offered and immediately gave it to Si Mbah Akbar without negotiating.
"Mbah, hopefully this money is enough for the cost of living Si Mbah," said Jaka while giving forty pieces of money to Mr. Akbar.
"No! Si Mbah does not need that much money," said Mr. Akbar with a slightly high tone. He felt unworthy to accept the gift of the granddaughter he had just met.
"Chap... Maybe soon Si Mbok and Jaka also live here. Just use this money to build a more decent home. Jaka believes that Si Mbok would prefer to live in a comfortable home, all sufficiency than having to keep the necklace," replied Jaka still with a thrust of money in his hands.
"It's been.. Just take it, sir. It is not good to refuse sustenance. Later even the sustenance of the father is lost all because Gusti Allah is lazy to give, the same people who like to choose sustenance," continued Darto trying to seduce Pak Akbar.
Hearing Darto's words, Mr. Akbar gradually put on a worried face. She was still hesitant to accept her grandson's gift, but in her little heart she wanted to receive the money after hearing Jaka's words. He wanted to prepare a decent living quarters if his son and granddaughter had already returned to his mansion.
"Is it okay if the Mbah accepts all this?" ask Mr. Akbar to his grandson.
Hearing that, Jaka immediately smiled so widely, he felt happy while saying "That is exactly what Si Mbok wanted. He always thought of the Mbah and Rayi, but it was a pity that Mbah Rayi was dead. The Mbok knows that you used to sell the house just to buy the necklace, plus we there we never use money, Mbah. It would be much more useful if the Mbah held it all."
Sewah immediately held Jaka that time. Her tears instantly broke, she also ignored the money that Jaka still offered. After being satisfied enough he held his grandson, he finally received the money that Jaka offered with a heavy heart. With a shaking hand he grabbed the money in Jaka's hand and said "May you come here tomorrow, this house has become good. Tomorrow Si Mbah will hire a handyman to build, and Si Mbah will buy a big mattress for you and your Mbok."
Everyone who heard it immediately drifted in Mr. Akbar's words. Darto, Ki Karta Dan Harti were no less happy after seeing Mr. Akbar would accept the money, they even joined in replacing their dental ranks.
"Well.. Then I'll give it to you, Jak. It's up to you to do what, but I prefer if you give this to your Mbok Si again," said Darto suddenly, he handed the necklace he had just bought to the owner.
"What do you mean, Kang?" Jaka asked with a confused face.
"I don't mean, I don't need stuff like this. But I am sure that Si Mbok you are actually very sorry about this thing," replied Darto.
"That's why I just return the money, son," said Mr. Akbar in a hurry while putting the money in his hands.
Pak Akbar immediately lowered his head after hearing Darto's remarks, while Jaka could only be stunned after seeing Darto scolding Pak Akbar in front of him. Jaka did not move in silence with gaping lips. But after Darto patted his shoulder, he gradually regained his senses, then grabbed the necklace in Darto's hands while saying "Once again thank you, Kang. You're the one Jaka will never forget in Jaka's life."
Mr. Akbar who saw it immediately sobbed, he held Darto while continuing to say thank you without stopping. Today he felt like he had met an angel who resembled a human. She was grateful that her granddaughter had brought an angel into her humble hut.
"So, our business is done here, I want to leave first, sir. I still have to go to the village of Ijuk, fearing that if it is too long here, it will be too late on the road" said Darto as he looked at Pak Akbar, then turned to Jaka and asked again "Do you want to stay here or come with us?"
"I'm coming, Kang. I will come back here if it is the same Si Mbok," replied Jaka without hesitation.
"Son... Stayed here last night, or at least let me get some food first." said Ki Karta.
"No need, sir. We can eat at the roadside shop. Then we immediately say yes sir," replied Darto without convoluted. He felt that it would be troublesome if everyone stopped for too long inside the hut.
"All right then, son. Again, I say thank you very much. May you be given safety, and also given smoothness in all your affairs," continued Mr. Akbar and immediately got an answer to the word 'Amin' which came out from all his listeners.
After that, Darto, Harti, Ki Karta and also Jaka directly out of Pak Akbar's house. They rushed back to the mosque where his car was parked, with Mr Akbar taking their trip. After arriving at the mosque, without waiting too long Darto immediately turned on the engine and returned to travel. They darted out of Kampung Kesemek and reached the main route within an hour. Finally the journey to Kampung Ijuk was continued.
For hours they drive, and stop only when they pray or eat. Until not felt, the sky has begun to present orange color. It was almost night, and they decided to rest again. From where Darto parked his car, there was one magnificent mosque located not far from his position. Rushing everyone stepped towards the mosque, and performed the congregational maghrib prayer. After they finished, they continued on their way back without resting. Actually, Darto had proposed to rest, but after hearing Ki Karta said that if the distance was close, Darto had to push back Kakung's vehicle without thinking.
After three hours, they finally reached the village of Ijuk. The plastered time showed almost midnight, so they decided to bring the necessary items to Ki Karta's house. Remembering rather than having to go back and forth is better transported tomorrow. Darto parked Kakung's car near the saung just as he used to, and went to Ki Karta's house through a path he still remembered in his head.
That night they rested so quietly in Ki Karta's house. Without them realizing it, something strange happened to Jaka's body.
