The night looked as usual around Darto's house, the sound of crickets and sea frogs broke the silence around his house. Both Grandpa Darto were asleep on the couch in his room, while Surip and Bidin were still awake in the front room while waiting for Darto's return.
"Darto where is Sur, really Old," said Bidin, he asked Surip who was sleeping next to him.
"Yes yes Din, it has been almost an hour he has not returned," replied Surip while standing from his sleeping position.
"How about we catch up with Darto again, Sur?" tanya Bidin then woke up from her sleeping position.
"Udah is Din, maybe he stopped by a friend's house. I sleep, I go to sleep first, yes" replied Surip then returned to his sleeping position and closed his eyes.
Seeing Surip who began to fall asleep, Bidin also laid his body again, although his feelings did not feel good, he continued to feel something strange with the delay of Darto.
"Ki... Wake Ki!"
The sound of a call was heard softly greeting the ears of the two parents who were sleeping side by side.
"Ki. your two grandchildren Ki,"
Hearing that whisper, Kakung began to wake up. Occasionally he blinked his sleepy eyes, then swept around to ascertain where the sound was coming from.
"What's up, then,?" asked Kakung briefly to the figure of an old woman who had followed Sri in the past day.
"Your two grandchildren are in Danger, Ki" said the hunchback Grandmother who is now resting, next to the cots Kakung and Mbah Turahmin use.
Hearing this, Kakung rushes to wake up Mbah Turahmin who is sleeping, and when Mbah Turahmin opens his eyes he immediately pulls his body to get up quickly.
"Min, Darto Min!" shouted Kakung beside Mbah Turahmin's ear.
"Yes my eyes hear!" ketus Mbah Turahmin while rubbing his ears because his eardrums buzzed due to the screams of Kakung.
"What's the Same with Darto?" asked Si Mbah to the figure of Grandma hunchback in front of him.
"He's on the trail buto ireng, Ki. Not just Granddaughter Ki, your granddaughter is also there," replied Grandma bowed with a downcast face.
Hearing that, Simbah and Kakung rushed out of the room, and opened the door of Darto's room which should be used Harti. Sure enough, Harti was not in Darto's room.
"Where are they!" kakung asked the figure of Grandma hunchback, with reddened eyes and clenched hands.
"North of the village, Ki," he replied as he lowered his head back. His body trembled, trembling at the sight of two wrathful old men in front of him.
"Let's go Mat, we'll beat the black guy!" take Mbah Turahmin and then they rushed to leave Anto and Bidin who were asleep in the living room.
Infuriated and worried, the two old men ran, ignoring their long breathing, to where their grandson was in danger.
...***...
"Who are you!" shouted Darto to a shabby shrouded creature in front of him.
The creature did not answer , instead it returned to bring his rotten face closer to Darto's face.
With full of emotion, Darto pushed the body of the creature as strong as his strength. Strangely though Darto felt successful pushing until the body of the creature bounced, Darto even more confused with the figure of a pocong that still stands right in front of his eyes.
"Bad! why are you bothering us!" yelled Darto as he grabbed Harti's limp body. He felt stupid to be deceived by the lowly creature in front of him, also he felt guilty for pushing Harti's body which he originally thought was just a incarnation.
"I know you, you raised the corpse of a young buto ireng wife in the swamp, hi hi hi hi hi hi," the pocong jumped up as he continued to repeat the word.
Hearing the sentence that continued to pocong said, Darto immediately remembered the incident that he and his two friends experienced in the swamp when helping Dining. Finally the sweat droplets managed to gather at the temple of Darto after successfully remembering the incident when he saw dozens of pocongs standing along the swamp.
"You're buto ireng's wife?!" asked Darto a little doubt, his eyes swept around, Darto felt a little doubt about the ability he had.
"not me! but Us!" snapped the shabby pocong and when dozens of pocongs appeared, they stood around the body of Darto who was memapah Harti.
Darto was confused for a moment, before he finally put Harti back on the ground, and sat cross-legged playing the Tasbih he always held.
Verse by verse, Letter by letter Darto continued to chant, unfortunately dozens of pocong like no ears, although there were some who screamed and rushed to disappear, still, there are still many of them who completely ignore the rapes that Darto chanted.
"You're going to die, Darto,"
"You'll be our friend, Darto,"
"We came to pick you up, young man,"
Whispers for the sake of whispers continue to be said the rest of the pocong that is still standing around Darto, until the concentration of Darto is completely dissolved. Sweat continued to pour from the temple of Darto, even occasionally to drip from his chin. Fortunately finally the help he always received arrived as well, Even this time the two objects in Darto wore lit up together.
"Please, if you can," said Darto, opening his eyes and standing from his seat.
The ring in Darto's hand emitted a sheen of red light, and the necklace he was wearing really emitted a very dazzling green light. The figure of the pocong that had been circling the body began to be pushed back because of fear of the light emanating from the two objects.
"Bah, Please Take care of Harti," said Darto, while draping the green stone on Harti's neck.
After draping his necklace, Darto stood up again, with a black kris that he had managed to hold. Sastro's grandfather the necklace's attendant also appeared this time, he sat cross-legged right next to Harti's body, guarding Harti from unexpected attacks.
Seeing the keris that Darto held, almost half the number of pocongs ran away in a mess of fear for him. And some of those who resisted succeeded in burning as Lastri's body turned to ashes on the ground.
The night passed with a gust of wind so strong, lightning and thunder joined in cheering Darto fight and dozens of creatures in front of him.
After quite a long time, the disturbances were successfully annihilated one by one. Darto returned to where Harti was lying, Darto's sweaty face began to be able to cope with the relief mimic.
"Love you, I've helped Darto" said Darto with his lips to Mbah Sastro in front of him.
Not answering, Mbah Sastro actually closed his eyes again in front of Darto.
"Dar! still not!" shouted the man in a voice full of authority, a voice that Darto was very familiar with, greeting from the direction of his back.
"What Does Wajana Mean?" asked Darto astonished, Darto was a little confused by the statement of Mbah wajana the ring waiter who suddenly appeared.
"He's here, Dar!" said Mbah Wajana slowly, then he looked straight towards the darkness of the rice field.
After Darto squinted his eyes, it appeared from a distance a bald figure with a jet black body, as black as charcoal. Middle crawling while drooling from his lips, continued to approach where Darto stood.
Seriate.
