"Wait a minute, man. From the story you mentioned earlier, have I tried to kill my own descendants by attacking Darma?" ask Ki Axle with round eyes. He was reminded by the speech of Jaka who said that Darto is a descendant of Darma.
"Yes .. You have harmed two of your grandchildren simultaneously" said Darto as he stared intently at his interlocutor.
Hearing Darto's reply, Ki Gandar immediately face down using his two palms. He began to flood his cheeks, with a clear bulb that began to seep freely from the corner of his eye.
In a sense, Ki Gandar took off both palms that were still covering his face, then looked at his interlocutor while saying, "I'm sorry ...."
Seeing Ki Gandar put on such a guilty face, Darto could only reply to the apologies of his interlocutors by saying, "How about I give Grandpa a chance to apologize to them directly?"
Hearing the offer from Darto, Ki Gandar was completely shocked. He felt disbelief until without thinking he said, "How?! Can you still meet them?"
"No ... I can't see them because I'm alive" Darto said briefly.
"Then? How do you get me and them together?" ask Ki Axar back.
"There is life after death, Cake. You can meet them if you get permission from the creator," continued Darto while looking down.
"So ... You mean I have to die first in order to meet them?" ask Ki Axle with astonished face.
"I'm sorry .. that's the only way, Kek," said Darto still with his guilty face.
"Right ... I want if I can really die. I have tried many times to end this long suffering. But ... Even I always stay alive after my head is separated from my body," said Ki Gandar with his face lowered. His gaze slammed onto the ground, considering how much effort he had put in just to die.
"I can help Grandpa" said Darto briefly. He looked confidently at his interlocutor, while putting such a serious face on his head.
"How is it?" ask Ki Axar back.
"Later my friend will help, I need his body to be able to remove the shackles that bind Grandpa's neck" said Darto while pointing at the chain that has the exact same shape, with a chain that once bound Jaka and his family in the past day.
"This chain's been holding my neck for years, it's probably been thousands of years if it's calculated using the time that goes on in the human world, I'm not sure if he's capable of breaking this chain," replied Ki Gandar, he tried to explain how long the rope had been restraining his body, since the day he made a pact with his deity long ago.
"Just calm down, Cake. He can even take an attack from you, right? He is not an ordinary young man, his body is special, Kek," continued Darto trying to convince.
Seeing the look of Darto who was so sure, Ki Gandar immediately nodded to say if he agreed. After seeing Ki Gandar nod, Darto again told the continuation of what Eyang Semar had shown. He actually told me in detail, until one thing that Ki Gandar did not know was able to make his heart explode again.
"So! Amerta is Satria's son?!" yell Ki Axle. His voice was so loud, and so deafening.
"Yes ... He carries Satria's bloodline, but he is still your son" Darto replied briefly.
"It is fitting that the child has a face and energy that I know! I'd die if he died with me too!" ketus Ki Axle grunt-sung. He raised his tone while pointing at the face of Jaka who was still sitting cross-legged while closing his eyes.
For a moment Darto was silent, he sorted out the right words to protect Jaka, until finally he found a suitable reason, and without waiting for a long time he immediately said, "So that's your reply?"
"What do you mean?!" replied Ki Gandar still in his harsh tone.
"You repay the kindness of your first son, who you even considered to be your own by snatching his bloodline?" sahut Darto asked again.
"If he was Amerta, would you still kill him?" ask Darto back.
Shortly after hearing the question, Ki Gandar looked down again he felt indecisive, and was also very confused by the answer that did not arrive in his mind. His brain was completely deadlocked, after hearing one small question coming out from the mouth of his interlocutor.
"Brahmins would not have been able to survive if Amerta had not taken care of it. Amerta often held back hunger for days just to make sure her sister could eat. Now, you're going to kill the descendants of Amerta? Who do you call a killer? Jaka's hands are still clean, he has never killed a single human during his life" continued Darto after seeing Ki Gandar completely confused.
Hearing Darto's words, Ki Gandar looked down again, he felt very touched, hearing the sacrifices that Amerta had made for the survival of his flesh and blood.
"Why silence?" tanya Darto returned, and still did not get an answer from the interlocutor who still kept his head down.
"Kang?" jaka said after waking up from his semen. He managed to melt the turbulent energy in his body, then immediately moved towards Darto who was talking to his opponent.
"You did it, Jak?" ask Darto with a relieved face.
"Alhamdulillah, Kang," replied Jaka briefly then turned to look at Ki Gandar, "Grandfather already knows everything?" keep Jaka.
"Already, Jak. He wants you dead instead, so he can die peacefully" said Darto as he looked at Ki Gandar back.
"Grandfather .. please take Jaka's life. If indeed it can drive away all the hate that is in Grandpa's chest. Jaka is really sincere," said Jaka while staring at Ki Gandar.
Hearing that remark, Ki Gandar directly wrapped his hands using fire-like energy. He strangled Jaka without a cue and directly squeezed Jaka's neck with his full strength.
Despite having received one surprise attack, Jaka did not budge at all, even Darto did not make the slightest movement. The two young men still continued to stare softly at Ki Gandar, with a face that wore a clear expression of pity.
Seeing the two young men in front of him completely not resisting, Ki Axar spontaneously shouted and took off the grip of his hand. He pulled his arm while yelling like that, in a loud voice and sounding for quite a while.
After shouting so loudly, Ki Gandar immediately calmed down, he lowered his head so low, that his forehead touched the ground below.
He cried so much at that time, because he really felt that he was being overwhelmed by a feeling that was so stifling in his chest.
On the one hand he was very angry after hearing Amerta was the son of Satria, but on the one hand he felt grateful because Amerta was able to take care of Brahmins even without the presence of two parents.
Ki Gandar really wanted to kill and thank one person at the same time, he was confused about what to do until only a roaring cry was able to explain his feelings.
Darto and Jaka who saw Ki Gandar sobbing, they gradually approached the body of an old man in front of him. In one time they both clutched the body of Ki Axar who was still bowed, until Ki Gandar really again felt one feeling that he had so long forgotten.
Dropping drops by drops back on the ground, tears that dripped from Ki Axar's chin really seemed unwilling to stop, he said, after he was again reminded of a feeling he used to always get from everyone closest to him.
Right now, the memory after memory of his wife, two children and all of his citizens is flooding back into Ki Gandar's brain. He recalled every affection he always received from everyone closest to him, after the arms of Darto and Jaka clutched tightly to his body.
In a sense of sadness, Jaka and Darto continued to try to calm the feeling that raged inside their Grandpa's chest. They try to help ease, even with just a whip and a little word of reinforcement in the middle.
