Dvesas
The Second Marriage

Gayatri wakes up around midnight. The atmosphere there is very quiet. He peeked out from behind the crack in the room, only the soldiers who took turns keeping busy arranging the ranks outside his room.

Cold milk and snacks are available at a table not far from the bed. Beside him was a furnace and jug. The fire furnace had not been completely extinguished. Gayatri lit the embers with dried coconut palms as fire bait. The wood burns in its milk to warm the milk in the jug.

The door to Gayatri's room was finely tapped, with King Gopal in full royal robes coming to visit her after reports of smoke emerging from her room.

“I asked my waiter to prepare dinner for you. It's been the turn of the day, eat it so that your energy recovers and you can make a decision”

Gayatri nodded.

“Saktenya, the little boy is an adult. He has not shown any interest in women all this time. We, my wife, and her mother Sonarika are looking for beautiful girls all over the country to be betrothed to her but she refuses. The first witness to tell us your decision to leave Siddarth, he seemed happy. As a father, I see this as a good sign. But I also can not force, if the woman he wanted refused to accompany him” said Gopal.

“Why is he so happy with our farewell? Is that how he wanted to destroy Astapura?” ask Gayatri

“Ask himself to his witness, he will answer all your doubts” said Gopal chose not to interfere too far.

“Can I meet him this morning?” ask Gopal.

“I will send a messenger there. You're not allowed to set foot in Subala until you make a decision” Gopal commemorates Gayatri.

“Your meal has arrived. Eat casually” Gopal leaves Gayatri and some kind of good breakfast. The first chicken cigarette rang when Gayatri finished eating. It has long been felt that he did not enjoy his food without fear of the judgment of others.

Gayatri spent time waiting for her Saksenya to be pushed back to noon. Until noon there was no look of the man's face. Gayatri wandered around Indrajaya's palace alone, in her head many questions she wanted to ask Saksenya. Until nightfall there was no visible trunk of the man's nose. King Gopal brought new news that his Saxony was busy in Subala, if Gayatri made the choice to reject his Saxon offer then he could write a letter and leave the place.

“Isn't this ridiculous. How could he leave a woman without explanation?” sayat Gayatri is not inexhaustible with his Saxony attitude.

“He who brought me here and left just like that. Really brash guy” Gayatri blames Saksenya.

The morning before Gayatri lost her patience with Saksenya's attitude. He paid a farewell to the King's wife because King Gopal was nowhere to be found. He drove his horse towards Subala based on a map drawn at random by the King's wife.

Gayatri arrived at the gate of Subala city, the soldier who saw his arrival immediately opened the door. His journey to the palace was without hindrance. The small town seemed bustling and advanced, Gayatri did not see anyone so poor as those on the streets of Astapura. Subala is cleaner than her shadow.

“Wait a minute, mr. Putri” Gayatri is confronted by the palace gatekeeper.

The guard had just called her the princess, from which he knew that Gayatri was the king's daughter while her appearance was not magnificent and Gayatri was certain that this warrior was not in Astapura upon his arrival.

Soon the gate opened, and a middle-aged woman and palace staff greeted him. Gayatri seemed misbehaved, not expecting her arrival to be greeted with rice in jugs, flower necklaces, and sindoor.

“My son, touch the jug with the tip of your toe” Gayatri like bewitched she according to what Sonarika, her Saxon Mother said.

He touched the jug of rice, and set his foot on the blood-red flour. She was in front of her Saksenya because her goal was to talk to the man. Saksenya smiled happily then outlined the sindoor in her hair hemisphere and Sonarika gave a red bindi on Gayatri's forehead.

All the members of the palace let them in and left Saksenya and Gayatri there.

“What are you doing” Gayatri said, her eyes began to water.

“King Gopal must have given me the wrong information. He said he had warned you not to set foot in the kingdom of Subala”, said Saksenya calm.

“King Gopal did say it” reply Gayatri.

“Welcome to Subala Kingdom, empress candidate” welcome Saksenya.

“How can this happen?” ask Gayatri

“You are seree embroidered peacock feathers, and boldly present yourself here. The clothes you wear are only worn by my mother and my wife, if you set foot here the sign you agree with our marriage”

“My daughter why are you standing there, come here I will show you your resting place” invited Sonarika, Saksenya's mother was so enthusiastic about welcoming her daughter-in-law.

“This is the room you will use during the preparation of the wedding ceremony”, sonarika explained. The room was very luxurious, nuanced in white gold, the color was exactly like the shining armor and earrings that his Saxony wore. Gayatri forgot, this kingdom has a white gold mine. It was one of the greatest incomes in this kingdom.

“Mistress, can I.”

“Do not call me madam. You are my son now, call me mother” Sonarika commemorates Gayatri.

“I am a widow and a commoner. Now I live a kara. I came here to ask Saksenya there are things I need to know”, Gayatri said quickly.

“Ya of course. Everyone watched as Siddarth wiped the bindi off your forehead, and you called my son by his name. You guys must be very close” said Sonarika.

"You can ask my son after you're officially married. Before marriage you are not allowed to meet your future husband. There will be a cleaning ceremony and wedding preparations. Rest, I will be here when the ceremony time will arrive” Sonarika closes the door and the guard in the room is tightened.

Gayatri feels she's going crazy any minute. Just now that he had escaped from one problem he now had to face a new one. Gayatri has been more prone to anger lately than when she was in Astapura. Let everyone know, I am not a suitable daughter-in-law for this kingdom.

In the afternoon all the servants filled his room, preparing to celebrate the purification ceremony. Gayatri bathed and diras. He was being led to the ceremony. After the ceremony, Gayatri was obliged to listen to the advice of the royal family and return to her room. The wedding will be tomorrow.

Gayatri could not resist all the ceremonies. He gave up, let it all go anyway there was no harm in marrying Saksenya and she was sure Saksenya much more appreciated it. He had to talk some things over with the man.
