Laksmi Secrets

"The princess had some shocking news" Rupika said, awakening Gayatri who was looking in the mirror while combing her long hair.

"Say"

"Something happens to Laksmi" Rupika whispered slightly, afraid that her voice would be heard by others.

Gayatri leaned her body to the left asking Rupika to whisper the news.

Gayatri's eyes grew up hearing Rupika's whispers. A sly smile appeared on his face.

"Excuse me, Princess" a voice came up behind the door.

Rupika immediately moved away a few steps, while Gayatri allowed the owner of the vote to enter.

"Laksmi wants to see you" Gunjana said, followed by Laksmi's frightened face.

Laksmi sat under Gayatri's feet.

"Stay here" Gayatri told Rupika and Gunjana who wanted to give privacy to herself and Laksmi.

"What's wrong" Gayatri asked straightened her gaze, without looking at Laksmi.

Laksmi's cry broke out she hugged Gayatri's leg while shedding tears.

The two servants who saw Gayatri's feet wet by Laksmi's tears were about to pull her.

Gayatri raised one of her hands letting Laksmi's tears flood her legs.

There was no sound until Laksmi herself started talking.

"Mr Princess, forgive the sassness of the servant. There is something I want to say. I....i.m is humming" said Laksmi lirih.

Rupika had told him the news, but heard it out of Laksmi's mouth like a thunderbolt in broad daylight that struck her heart.

"What's the deal with me?" ask Gayatri not to care.

Laksmi was restless with Gayatri's attitude. He came to see Gayatri, in the hope that the princess could help him avoid Siddarth's wrath even though it might be very small.

"Master will kill me if he finds out about this"

"No, princess! I don't dare"

Gayatri glanced at Laksmi's behavior just now. The woman held her hands together on her forehead, begging for forgiveness for what she said just now.

"Since I've been handpicked by Mr. Siddarth, and being a dancer in Odissa there's a taboo I can't break"

Gayatri waited for Laksmi to continue her words but Laksmi kept silent. It seemed like Laksmi was waiting for Gayatri to ask the secret in question. But Gayatri refused to ask that even though her mind was turbulent curious. Soon there will be two ward mistresses in this house, what's the point of knowing the secret.

"Move your things to this ward. I'll prepare your room. When Siddarth comes home later we will have a welcoming ceremony and tell him the good news"

"This lady is not a child of Siddarth" said Laksmi resigned.

"really? no man would dare to visit your room but Siddarth. Do you think anyone would believe it if it wasn't Siddarth's son?"

"Therefore I came to beg your help madam" said Laksmi back in tears.

"All the food I eat has been mixed with a special potion so that I cannot hum. That day my boyfriend and I spent the night together, for a month he secretly brought me food"

"Tell me your plea" Gayatri said.

Sooner or later this news will spread to all corners of the palace. Before it's too late it's good if he saves this mother and baby.

That night Gayatri teams up with Rishi and the healer packs all of Laksmi's belongings and removes them from the palace.

"Go away and don't come back. Siddarth will kill you if he finds out" Gayatri said before letting Laksmi go.

"What about you lady?" ask Laksmi worried.

"Don't mind me. Take care of yourself" Gayatri said.

The horse-drawn carriage drove quickly leaving Gayatri, Rupika, Gunjana, and Rishi.

"We'd better get back before we get caught" Rishi said, leading the three women to the back door of the palace.
