Letter from Utari

“Excuse me tuanputeri” said one of the servants woke Gayatri who was in deep sleep.

Gayatri was shocked when one of them opened her bedroom window. The sunlight came through the window.

“I Rupika and this Gunjana” from today

we are servants of the daughter of Gayatri” Rupika said introducing himself.

“Where is Siddarth?” ask Gayatri

“Master has been going since morning to the city of Badra with some of his guards” Rupika said.

“This is a letter from princess Utari to you” Rupika handing over the letter with both hands.

Gayatri read the letter

To my beloved Gayatri,

Tomorrow morning my husband and I will be

went to Dharmapala kingdom where my husband was assigned. I hope you're at home

while living in the women's ward. I cannot explain in detail, because according to the custom my husband will teach you the tradition while in Astapura. One of your servants, Gunjana, was the servant who served me first.

I trust her.

Your beloved sister, your,

Utari.

“Our princess has prepared the bath please soak. We will help you clean yourself”

“I can clean myself. Let me do it” Gayatri said quickly.

After the bath, they both helped put on clothes and dry Gayatri's hair.

“Tell me about Astapura, I want to hear it” Gayatri said.

“What do you want to know?” tanya Rupika while preparing a therapeutic scent teapot containing boiling water mixed with natural fragrance and the steam is used to straighten tangled hair.

“What kind of man is Siddarth? Our meeting was very short I don't know the habit”

Rupika and Gunjana looked at each other.

Siddarth returned to the kingdom and began participating in several wars.

Gayatri imagined at a very young age, Siddarth witnessed a lot

bloodletting.

“Master Siddarth is a very serious man. Mr. Siddarth is often with many women, but there is nothing that attracts Mr. Siddarth, other than you” Rupika said with a smile.

Gunjana looked at Gayatri's face which looked unsettled.

“Is there something bothering you?” tanya Gunjana's full of probes.

“Siddarth often with many women?” ask Gayatri again.

“Of course. This is normal in Astapura. At the age of eighteen, Mr. Siddarth had won the battle. King Sri Narendra was very pleased and said that Mr. Siddarth may ask for anything including half his kingdom. You know what Mr Siddarth asked for?” ask Gunjana.

Gayatri stared at the reflection of Gunjana's face from the mirror before her, as if asking Gunjana to continue the story.

“Residence of dancers” said Gunjana.

Rupika looked at Gunjana with an agitated look. They shouldn't have told that to the newlyweds.

Gayatri recalled her first encounter with Siddarth in front of the dancers' quarters. Utari once whispered to him that there was a place where entertainers lived.

“What did Siddarth do in the dancers' quarters?” ask Gayatri.

“Master stayed there for a hundred days” said Gunjan proudly.

“prangg!!!” the teapot held by Rupika fell, its contents spilled over the end of the Gayatri saree.

“I'm sorry Mr. Puteri” Rupika said while kneeling and cleaning a teapot that was scattered.

“I will change your wet clothes” said Rupika panicked.

“No need, I can terrible this wet shirt. You guys go get that teapot. Today the newlyweds are allowed to stay in the room until sunrise tomorrow

morning" Gayatri said to her two servants.

Rupika and Gunjana immediately leave from Gayatri's room carrying a teapot that was half-full.
