Dvesas
The Temple of Goddess Durga

Gayatri and Gunjana went through a week-long journey to the temple's 1000 steps which the little boy said was in the market. Gayatri ignored Gunjana's opinion that the little boy could have lied, and in the market many fraudsters took advantage of the situation.

"Mrs, we could be robbed. It is possible that the plot has been waiting on the road that we will go through" Gunjana said trying to stop his steps.

"I don't care! I've been dead since Siddarth married me" Gayatri said.

"Go if you're afraid of losing your life" Gayatri said.

Gunjana followed in Gayatri's footsteps. After four days of exhausting travel, they arrived at the temple which the little boy referred to.

A thousand stairs were towering and looked steep. Along the elongated eyes, the corpses of young and old women were lying on the steps of the temple. For a moment Gayatri pensively thought her fate would be the same as those corpses.

"I have sworn by the blood of my parents, and my devotion as a wife. Today I will carry out my vows, no two demon beasts can stand in my way. My oath must be avenged" cried Gayatri before stepping.

One by one the steps were climbed Gayatri, followed by Gunjana who carried a pitcher of water on his head. Gunjana gasped for breath following Gayatri's footsteps. Without turning a bit Gayatri climbed one by one ladder. The heat and rain did not care about Gayatri. Food and water are gone. Their movement was getting slower, it was past two days and two nights when they climbed the stairs. Gayatri began to eat little by little the tip of the sari just filling his empty stomach, his vision began to blur, his head hurt, the world seemed to revolve in his view. Gayatri crawled, with the rest of the energy at hand.

If this is the end of my journey, let the Goddess guide me

Inner Gayatri before closing her eyes.

It is said that in ancient times there lived a king who liked to spend his time. The people were miserable and destitute while the king was busy throwing parties in the palace. One time the king intended to invite Goddess Parvati, the Mahadeva couple to the palace in a special banquet. For one month the king worshipped Goddess Parvati and did good. The compassionate Goddess Parvati came to attend the invitation. When the Goddess arrived, the king was amazed. The beauty of the Goddess stunned the king, her bad intention to marry the Goddess appeared. Murkalah Goddess Parvati then changed into Mahakali, another form of Goddess Parvati that symbolizes death. Mahakali destroys the party, his anger resulting in natural disasters everywhere. Mahakali cursed the king and his descendants.

The king who was afraid to ask for mercy from Mahakali. After Mahakali left the place the king immediately met the Brahmins asking for their advice. The king repented, made offerings and erected the temple of Goddess Durga as an apology and the liberation of innocent souls. Anyone who asks for the help of Goddess Durga will be granted if they are determined to pass the obstacle of 1000 steps.

"My goddess is in front of you. Thousands of miles I've traveled just to meet you. Goddess, you are my last hope of avenging my family" sobs Gayatri filled the room. All the bells in the temple rang after Gayatri said her words.

With the position of refuting the earth Gayatri did his meditation while reciting the mantra of worship.

"Gayatri"

A voice called out to Gayatri.

Gayatri awakens from her worship. In front of him was a woman, all black. His eyes were red, his neck was wearing a skull necklace, his eight hands were holding various types of weapons and trident, his black hair was unraveling the smell of the ashes of memes

"Mahakali" said Gayatri amazed.

Gayatri fell before the feet of Mahakali who was Goddess Durga.

"Know that when a woman's patience exceeds her limits, no one can stand in her way"

Slowly Mahakali disappeared from before him.

"Mrs!" gunjana shouted to see Gayatri faint.

"We must return to the palace" Gayatri said, clasping Gunjana's hand.
