The Ward Woman's Servant

“What happened” asked the maids in the ladies ward kitchen when Rupika and Gunjana appeared in a hurry.

“Because of this woman's stupidity, I spilled the contents of the teapot into Mr. Puteri”'s saree Rupika said pointing at Gunjana's face.

“What have you done to the new Madam in this house?” ask Sanjana, the butler of the wards.

Gunjana tells what happened in Gayatri's room. All the servants took Gunjana's story seriously.

“I don't understand why Mr. Siddarth who is so popular married a woman from the country somewhere. Though Hindustan is not short of beautiful women who are ready to serve him” said Gunjana at the end of the story.

“I heard this is just a political marriage, nothing special” Sanjana said sarcastically.

The other servant agreed with Sanjana.

“Why do you take care of things that are not your business, Mr. Princess also did not expect to be made a son-in-law of the palace of Astapura, he even slept late at night after his wedding ceremony” said Rupika.

“Hey Rupika, which side are you on? Don't you remember what Princess Utari looked like when she just arrived. Almost every day we strip off, refusing the food the servants serve. Her husband begged the King to provide food and cook from the archipelago. Isn't that overkill?” gujana said he would not lose.

“Ya true. At that time I was still a representative of the servants before Anjali moved to the palace. The princess's behavior was truly disgusting. Even small things, must be accompanied by her husband. If all the women in Hindustan were like that, then the men would

retired to be husband” said Sanjana in welcome the laughter of other servants.

“Already. You better prepare a meal for this hostess before the cook from Nusantara replaces your duties” Sanjana told Rupika.

They ended the debate and began to do their respective duties.

Rupika finished cooking breakfast, she and Gunjana brought the food to Gayatri's room.

Gayatri sat on the bed looking at the mehendi engraved beautifully on both her legs and hands.

“This princess eats your breakfast” said Rupali putting food in front of Gayatri.

“Gunjana, I heard you were the servant of Princess Utari during this ward” asked Gayatri while scooping her food.

“True Mr. Puteri” replied Gunjan while paying attention to Gayatri's movements.

“It must be very troublesome because you have to cook Nusantara food. You don't have to do that to me, I'll eat whatever is provided and will learn to cook for my husband”

Gunjana is bowed to Gayatri's words while Rupika is very excited by Gayatri's plan to learn to cook.

“You can use the kitchen wards of women, I will help you” Rupika said.

“How about Gunjana also help, are you ready?” gayatri asked as she looked at Gunjana's face.

“I am willing Mr. Puteri” said Gunjana in the heart of Gunjana cussing because it will add his work to serve and teach cooking.

After eating Gayatri asked Rupika to take care of the leftovers and bring her utensils, while Gunjana stayed with her.

“Continue your story about Siddarth's hundred days in place of the dancers” Gayatri said

while asking Gunjana to fan it with a fan made of peacock feather, a gift from her in-laws.

“Either what Mr. Siddarth did there, but from the gossip circulating among the servants, the dancers said Mr. Siddarth would not stop until dawn. Every time Mr. Siddarth visits a dancer will accompany him in a special room”. Gunjana said timidly.

“I wonder what Siddarth did there” Inner Gayatri with haughty gestures

Gayatri straightened her gaze thinking about what she was doing after hearing her servant's words.
