"Bansheer what have you done to my besanku" Sri Narendra asked in wrath.
"Sir, sit. I'll explain the problem" Bansheer said calmly.
Bansheer hosts Sri Narendra in Daneswara's workspace. He wore a crown, a robe, and a Daneswara scepter.
Bansheer put down his crown slowly and the dome he was wearing. He sat down while pouring wine into Sri Narendra's cup.
"Early from dinner in Jiwang I invited the three Jaya kings to celebrate my success managing Jiwang. Two days later, Jayamangala was found dead in his room. His younger brother lashed out at Jayaswara because the day before they were hosted at Jayaswara's house talking about Haggai Khan. Civil war is inevitable. Jayaswara burned himself through the holy fire".
Sri Narendra had already heard that part, there was no difference between Bansheer's story and the information that reached his ears.
"Since that day Jayanegara* is haunted by guilt. He went crazy and called me to the palace. He left three jayas to me because no one else could be trusted. After that day, we got word Jayanegara ended his life".
Sri Narendra sipped his wine while waiting for the next story.
"That day three Jaya mourned, we prayed for the ashes of the two brothers the temple of three jaya, because the ashes of the first brother had been scattered in the ocean. Daneswara and his two masters accused me of killing three jayas. How could I have done such a despicable act? I was in Jiwang all day watching over the new seedlings. The more I let go the more Daneswara acted. He sent people spying on me while inciting the citizens of the three jayas. My patience is over, my lord. I destroyed Dwipajaya in defense of Astapura's abused justice and self-respect"
Sri Narendra watched over Bansheer's behavior during the man's story. Cunning and not knowing yourself. Two words to describe Bansheer.
"Calm down, Sire, I assure you that not a single witness has survived"
Sri Narendra pulled his chair closer towards Bansheer. He leaned his body staring at both of Bansheer's black eyes.
"If in the future there is a dispute related to this event, then you are the one who must be responsible"
Sri Narendra invites Siddarth and Gayatri to his secret room. He recounts the events that befell the Bansheer version of Dwipajaya. Gayatri knew the story must have been turned around to make her father the guilty party to justify Bansheer's greed.
Gayatri closed her eyes hearing word for word from her in-laws mouth. He imagined his father struggling to ward off enemies while his mother performed a sacred fire ritual.
May the Lord give justice to the innocent soul. May the land of Dwipajaya, the three jaya, and all nature that witnessed the event punish the invaders in the land of Dwipajaya.
Gayatri prayer in the heart. Even her tears were unable to come out all that was left in her heart was anger. But he remembered his vow that he would not cry and would serve Siddarth for the rest of his life.
"Princess Gayatri, I've heard the news about your parents. I'm sorry" said Jhanvi who came with Rishi.
"Thank you" Gayatri said.
"Siddarth can be with you during the mourning period" Jhanvi said.
Gayatri narrowed her eyes looking at Jhanvi who was busy stroking her stomach.
"Jhanvi, just because you're pregnant doesn't mean Siddarth is under your control. I'm still his legal wife. Take care of what you say when you're dealing with me" Gayatri said.
"We'll see if he can still be arrogant after this" whispered Jhanvi
