Bansheer gathered a small group of nine soldiers, whom he chose himself to go to Karmanagar. They were dressed in common folk clothes and disguised themselves to avoid being recognized as Astapura warriors. At dusk they will leave for Karmanagar in three groups that pass through different roads.
There are many shortcuts to Karmanagar that are commonly passed by residents of Astapura. This shortcut was made to facilitate the distribution of palawija. Travel takes less time
four hours from the palace.
Arriving at Karmanagar, the small group –group gathered at one point that had been agreed to stalk Karmanagar workers.
“Some of this time many workers are relaxing because there are not many things they do. We have to wait for dinner time to take them secretly” Bansheer Whispers to his group of soldiers.
Before coming to Karmanagar, Siddarth had sent a letter to the head of the guard to help Bansheer secure the workers. The head guard only needed to receive the cue from Bansheer, when they should move.
The total number of workers in Karmanagar was one hundred. When pests strike, twenty-five workers
died in a row within a month. What's left now
only seventy-five workers, each group of twenty-five working alternately in three shifts.
“Master, it's time for dinner” whispered one of the Bansheer soldiers who served as the liaison between Bansheer and the head guard.
“Prepare yourself” Bansheer's orders.
They cover their heads with the clothes they wear. Five soldiers prepared with burlap sacks the rest carrying ropes and drugs.
They sneaked toward workers washing their faces in the shower near the resort and smothered their noses with drugs. Some of the rebellious workers were immediately beaten to unconsciousness. Subsequent to
their fainting is collected into one, bound and forcibly inserted into the
in the freight car Bansheer rented.
Bansheer and his entourage returned to the palace.
Siddarth waited for them in the basement connecting the port and palace of Astapura. That place was a secret way to escape.
“Gather them in one room” said Siddarth overseeing the movement of the workers.
They were in a narrow room. The sacks that covered their faces in the open, looked as if Siddarth was staring intensely at them one by one.
The workers were so frightened, they did not dare to return Siddarth's gaze.
“Give them a meal!” Siddarth ordered the soldiers to take the prepared food in the corner of the room.
“Eat a lot, because tonight you will start a long journey”
The workers ate greedily. Fill their stomachs as much as possible. They had no idea what Siddarth was planning but they were sure their long journey would be very painful.
The hourglass has shown midnight. Siddarth ordered the soldiers to bring the workers out of the room one by one with their eyes closed, bodies and hands tied. They were led into a passageway that would connect them to the other side of the harbor. There a small ship will take them to Dwipajaya.
All the workers had gathered in that small ship.
“Our master will be leaving” soon Bansheer said.
“Make sure you unbind their feet while in the middle of the sea. If anything goes wrong, kill it immediately. Do not let our plan sniff out opponents” Siddarth told Bansheer.
“Good Tuan”
Bansheer went with the soldiers and the workers. The small ship was moving away from the port of Astapura.
