Chapter 10: Sharing a Story

After returning home from work, Fiona visits Joyce's apartment. He wants to tell a story.

"Joyce.. Do you remember my aunt whom I told you about?" ask Fiona to lay her body on the bed. Joyce rolled her eyes thinking.

"You mean your aunt who helped you after your parents died?" joyce asked to sit on the side of the bed. Fiona nodded her head.

"My aunt asked me to be her son's milk mother after birth" Fiona said, staring at Joyce's ceiling.

"How come? it's not supposed to be your aunt who has breast milk because she's pregnant. You are not pregnant and you have children" Joyce said.

"I don't know what happened to Shopie's aunt. Bibi said he could not produce ASI. He's been looking for people, just that no one can, '" Fiona replies.

"Auntie advised me to do lactation induction to be able to produce ASI," said Fiona.

"I've heard that, so women who are not pregnant can produce ASI later. My neighbors used to do that. They can't have children and adopt babies from orphanages. She did lactation induction in order to breastfeed her baby, because the child did not like formula milk" Joyce said.

"So what did you say to your aunt? I think she just doesn't seem to want her chest saggy, as your aunt is a model, right?. Especially in the world of their work is very tight," said Joyce traveled to the refrigerator to pick up canned drinks.

"I told him to give me 2 days to decide" Fiona replied. He thought about what Joyce said.

"Thanks." said Fiona.

"I think you can repay him someday. It doesn't have to be a mother's milk for her child now" Joyce said.

"But what if it's like your neighbor's kid who can't drink formula?"

"I'm sure you can make the best decision" Joyce said, patting Fiona on the shoulder.

"By the way, who's that little kid you were talking to, you guys look compact?" ask Fiona.

"He's James. Robert's nephew" Joyce replied.

"What's? why do you know each other? maybe you and Robert are close behind me." said Fiona suspiciously pointing at Joyce's face with a narrowed look.

"What the hell, I haven't talked to him once. Seriously," said Joyce.

"At the same time he's interested in you" said Joyce.

"Not necessarily, you are just to conclude," said Fiona.

"But I hope you can be together" concluded Fiona teasing Joyce who has been blushing.

"It looks like you're sick. I'm gonna take a shower first" Joyce said, walking away from Fiona.

"Hey, you haven't answered why you're so close to Robert's nephew" Fiona said. Joyce didn't touch him and went into the bathroom.
