Chapter 60: Do Not Long

After three days in Alaska, Fiona and Kendrick return to New York. The two have just arrived at Kendrick's new home.

"Ken.. Whose house is this?" fiona asked looking at the luxurious building in front of her.

Kendrick smiled, "Of course it's our home" Kendrick said.

"I bought it a month ago. It is also close to mommy and daddy's house. You can go there if you are bored at home while working," continued Kendrick kissed Fiona's forehead gently.

"Let's go in," Kendrick. Fiona nodded and the two entered the house that was larger than the first Kendrick house.

"Milly.." - Fiona said when she saw Milly there.

"I asked them to keep working here" Kendrick said.

"Ken, you're finally home. I miss my granddaughter" said Norah, who had just arrived at Kendrick's house. Fiona twisted her body, gulping her saliva at the feeling of fear approaching her. He was afraid that Norah would be angry and disappointed in him. Even though Kendrick explained it to him. However Fiona was still hesitant before confirming it herself.

"Geez, my granddaughter misses you so much" Norah said, taking over Sean from Kendrick's arms.

"Bie.. Aunt Norah.." said Fiona stammered. Norah looked at Fiona with furrowed brows making Fiona uncomfortable.

"Fiona why are you calling me Auntie?" ask Norah. Fiona flinched, could it be that she misdirected.

"I.that, I mean mommy," Fiona replies. Norah was not angry. That means what Kendrick said is true.

"When was your marriage done?" norah's question surprised Fiona.

"I'd like to hurry mom, but I don't know if Fiona would agree or not. It all depends on him. It's a pity." Kendrick said staring at Fiona made the woman round her eyes. His face blushed because of Kendrick's last sentence.

"Yes mom.." Fiona replied in relief. Finally his negative thoughts were broken after meeting Norah.

Shopie returns to meet Mark, but she can't seem to lose her feelings for Mark, her first love. He wants his relationship back to the way it was before. At least, if you can't be with Kendrick anymore, there's Mark by his side. Mark still loves her.

Shopie parked her car in front of Mark's house. He entered Mark's house after the servant allowed him to enter.

"Where's Mark?" ask Shopie.

"Mr Mark has been gone since this morning to see Miss Rosaline" the waiter replied.

"Damn it. What a great woman it is," Inner Shopie. He then decided to leave Mark's house.

Shopie contacted Mark's number many times but there was no reply from the man. Shopie then got into her car and went to the Bar she used to visit with her friends to calm her mind.

Arriving at the Shopie Bar accidentally met Mark who was drinking with his friends.

"Mark.." call Shopie. Mark looked up and clucked in annoyance when he saw Shopie.

"Why did he come. Didn't you call my girlfriend Rosaline" said Mark, who was drunk with his friends. Mark asked his friend to call Rosaline's number but there was no reply from the woman.

"Mark.you're drunk. Come on. I'll take you home" Shopie said.

"Yes, it's a good idea Shopie, since then she's been babbling. I don't know how much he's been drinking since," said Mark's friend who knows Shopie. Because a few times Mark came with Shopie to the Bar.
