Chapter 26: Baby Sean

Shopie was taken from the delivery room to her ward. This room is a VVIP room.

After being moved into the ward, Kendrick's parents go inside to see their son-in-law followed by Fiona from behind.

"How are my grandchildren and daughter-in-law doing." - timpal Norah, who just walked into Shopie's ward.

"We're fine mom," replies Shopie smilingly looking at her mother-in-law.

"Thank God." said Carl, Kendrick's father.

"Where is my granddaughter?" ask Carl.

"The nurse will drop him off soon, mom" Kendrick said. His eyes turned to look at Fiona who was just silent in her place.

"Fiona, you just take a break. Uncle knows you're tired now" Kendrick said.

"No uncle, I'm not tired anyway" Fiona replied, displaying a smile on her face.

"Here you go, Uncle knows you're tired. You just rest on the couch" Kendrick said. Fiona finally nodded and walked towards the sofa.

"Mom, have you guys had dinner yet? I'm gonna have Elvis deliver food for us" Kendrick said. His stomach is hungry now.

"Your daddy's been but mommy hasn't. Fiona hasn't had dinner yet either" Norah replied. They met Fiona when they met.

"Well, I'll ask Elvis to drop off our dinner" Kendrick replied.

Shortly after, a nurse arrives with a tiny baby and gives the baby to Shopie. Norah who could not wait to see her granddaughter looked uneasy in her place. Fiona got up from her seat to look at the baby Shopie.

"The baby is sleeping. After waking up, you can give him ASI later," said the nurse and then leave.

"Geez, my granddaughter is so adorable" Norah muttered, staring at the tiny baby in Shopie's lap.

"Mom wants to carry her" Norah said. Shopie then gives the baby to Norah.

"Have you guys made his name?" ask Carl.

"It's dad" replied Shopie.

"His name is Sean Dad" Shopie continued.

"Good name Auntie," said Fiona holding the tiny hand of baby Sean. Fiona looks happy to see the little baby.

"Darling.I also want to hold my granddaughter" Carl said. Norah nodded and gave Sean to her husband.

"Can't your ASI come out, baby?" ask Norah. She also just found out from Fiona if her daughter-in-law can not breastfeed the baby and ask Fiona to replace it.

"Mom, my ASI is out, just not smoothly mom. While in the delivery room earlier, I tried to sue baby Sean but his ASI only came out a little. I talked to Kendrick Mom a long time ago. If I don't want to breastfeed Sean. Fiona's replacing me. Because after this I want to go back to work mom. At least there's Fiona helping me out later," Shopie said to Norah's surprise. So from the beginning Shopie did not want to breastfeed her baby. Norah actually disagreed if her daughter-in-law returned to work quickly. He wanted Shopie to keep Sean at least until the age of 2 or more.

"But mommy thought it would be better if you stopped working for a year or two, after all Kendrick can support you even if you don't work" Norah said.

"I'll reconsider mom" Shopie replied.

"Tok. tok. tok.." there was a knock from the door.

"Sir, I'd like to deliver dinner to your order" said Elvis.

"Thank you Elvis" said Fiona, taking the food from Elvis' hands.

"Then I say thank you, Mrs" said Elvis and left.
