Forbidden Desire
Chapter 5: Just a Dream

Fiona wakes up to hear the alarm of her phone. He opened his eyes and looked around his room. Fiona's reflexes rose from her sleep and rested her back on the head of the bed and realized she was dreaming.

"Gosh my god, what a dream it is" murmured Fiona patted her hot cheek.

"Ba. how could I dream of that man. And. and we, ahhh. This must be because of the effects of reading the novel," Fiona said while recalling her dream.

The phone's alarm goes off, he turns it off. He fell asleep while reading his novel last night.

Fiona got out of her bed, stepped into the bathroom to wash her face before she made her breakfast.

Fiona works as usual. It seems to serve visitors.

"Miss Fiona." said a man staring at Fiona who seemed to be furrowing his brows.

"How do you know my name?" ask Fiona confused. The man seemed to chuckle making Fiona a little irritated.

"Did you forget the name tag on your shirt, miss." the man said, making Fiona look down and pat her on the eel.

"God..I forgot.." said Fiona with a shy smile.

"You're so funny, miss."

"Find me Robert Parker" said Robert, extending his hand.

"Fiona.." reply Fiona.

"Wait a minute, it's like I know you" Fiona said, remembering something. Robert's face was familiar to him. He remembered that now, the man's face was the same as the man in Mrs's office photo. Edith owns the cafe where she works.

"Are you Mrs' son. Edith owns this cafe?" ask Fiona. The man then nodded.

"Well, nice to meet you" said Fiona.

"You seem to know me quite well" said Robert.

"That's it, I. I just heard stories from other employees."

"Ah. I almost forgot. You want to order what Mr. Robert. I shouldn't have said much. You must have been hungry," said Fiona smiling clumsyly giving a menu list to Robert.

"You're so funny that I'm interested in getting to know you more" Robert chuckles to embarrass Fiona. The man then looked at the food and drink list from the menu book. There seems to be some menu list that has increased since the last time he visited his mother's cafe 1 year ago.

After writing Robert's order list, Fiona goes to the kitchen, putting Robert's note on the table.

As night falls Fiona and Joyce return home on foot as usual.

"Do you know? I met Mrs' son. Edith. I just saw her for the first time in two years at the cafe" Fiona surprised Joyce. Although he has worked for 4 years at Cafe Mrs. Edith, she very rarely met that man. Joyce used to admire that guy.

"Really, if I knew she was coming, I would have seen her. Damn it" said Joyce.

"You know, that guy rarely comes to his mom's cafe. Moreover, he does not live here," he continued again with a glowing face made Fiona furrow both eyebrows. There was something strange about his friend.

"He looks more handsome than the photo in Mrs' room. Edith," said Fiona, fishing for Joyce.

"Yes, I agree with you. I'm sure he's getting handsome now. I never saw him again 3 years ago. Even if he comes to the cafe, I must be busy in the kitchen preparing a visitor order," said Joyce with the same facial expression.

"I hope to come again tomorrow and I want to see it" he continued.

"Do you like it?" fiona's asking makes Joyce go awry.

"Come.. confess to you..since when? what about your current boyfriend. Or maybe you're dating Jayden but your feelings are there for him?" fiona asked with a look at Joyce full of probing.

"Hey.I'm not like that." said Joyce pinching Fiona's arm making the woman grimace.
