Chapter 25: Give Birth

Not feeling Shopie will soon give birth, Fiona and other servants are preparing the equipment that will be taken to the hospital.

"Fio, call your uncle. Tell her to get back from her office and follow her to the hospital" Shopie said, sitting in a wheelchair holding her stomach.

"Well Auntie," Fiona replies, taking her phone and calling Kendrick.

"Elvis, please bring Ms. Shopie's belongings into the car. I'm going to push up the Madam's chair" Milly concluded. Elvis then nodded. They then walked to the car that had been prepared in the yard.

Fiona waited for Kendrick to pick up her call. The second time he contacted Kendrick but has not been appointed either. Fiona looked patiently waiting.

"Ah. has been lifted," Fiona's inner.

"Hello.." said Kendrick flatly. The man still seems to be angry with her since the incident at Kendrick's office last week. Kendrick never spoke to him again. Just this time, Fiona heard the man's voice again.

"Shopie's aunt is about to give birth, we're going to the hospital soon" Fiona said.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes" Kendrick said.

"Ba__" Fiona frowned staring at her phone screen. Kendrick turned off his phone. Shit, why doesn't he like Kendrick being cold to him.

"Why do you feel there's less when Kendrick keeps her distance from you Fiona. You should be happy, right?" his inner.

"Miss, come on. "give Elvis something else. Fiona nodded and walked after Elvis from behind.

Upon arrival at the hospital, they headed straight for Shopie's ward. Doctor Heidi who handles Shopie came to see them to check on Shopie's condition.

"Milly, please call my parents and Kendrick" Shopie said. Milly nodded. Meanwhile Fiona stands beside Shopie's gurney to accompany her.

"It's opening 4," said Heidi. Waiting for the next opening. Heidi invites Shopie to tell a story to at least get a little pain relief Shopie.

"Maybe it'll be aunty soon" Fiona replied. And not long after, Kendrick shows up in Shopie's outpatient room.

"Honey." call Shopie to endure the pain in her stomach with teary eyes.

"Everything will be fine" Kendrick replied, peeping over Shopie's head and gently rubbing Shopie's large belly. Fiona just kept quiet watching how Kendrick behaved to Shopie.

"I will prepare the delivery room first, later I will come back again to see the state of the patient," Heidi said then leave.

5 Hours later, Mr. Kendrick's two men have arrived at the hospital. Shopie's parents are out of town. And they'll be back in the afternoon.

Doctor Heidi came back to check on Shopie, "we have to go to the delivery room, the patient will give birth soon" Heidi said. Kendrick accompanied Shopie in the delivery room. The others are waiting outside.

Inside the delivery room, dr. Heidi is assisted by a nurse. The doctor ordered Shopie to calm down.

"Honey. I'm scared." whispered Shopie tightly grasping Kendrick's hand.

"Everything will be fine. You have to follow the doctor's instructions" Kendrick replies, who is also terrified to see Shopie give birth. He rubbed Shopie's wet hair, giving her strength. This is the first time she has entered the delivery room and witnessed Shopie herself giving birth to her baby.

"You can do it" Kendrick said, encouraging Shopie.

Doctor Heidi started giving directions to Shopie.

"Pull in a deep breath, throw it away and push slowly!" heidi. Shopie then followed what Heidi said. Shopie mere.mas strong hand Kendrick spilled all her pain on Kendrick.

"Yes push again.His head starts to come out," Heidi said. Shopie took a deep breath and pushed him again.

The sound of crying of the baby is male, filling the entire delivery room. After breaking the umbilical cord. Doctor Heidi immediately cleans the baby's body and attaches it to the mother's chest.
