Chapter 55: Are You not like that

Shopie rushes to meet Mark after his trial with Kendrick is over. The two eventually officially divorced. Sean's custody also falls into Kendrick's hands.

"March... Mark.." call Shopie into Mark's house.

"Mark. ka__" Shopie looked surprised when she saw Mark making out with a woman in his room.

"Mark, what the hell," Shopie said she didn't expect Mark to betray her.

Casually, Mark stood up as if nothing had happened.

"As you can see Shopie," Mark retorted to his shoulder.

"Damn you. Instead of helping me at the trial, you were alone with this mesh.ng," said Shopie angrily staring intently at the woman sitting on the sofa.

"Shut your mouth Shopie, you fucking ja.lang. Never say bad things to her, ever," Mark yelled at Shopie. Not accept that the woman is insulted by anyone.

"Ck. So all this time you've been playing behind me Mark, too" Shopie said, shaking her head.

"Didn't you do that, too" replied Mark to Shopie's teasing.

"You think I approached you back because I still love you? ck.. You're wrong Shopie. I'm not a stupid man. I just want you to feel what I felt when you picked Kendrick back then. You betrayed me Shopie. Just because I wasn't as rich as Kendrick at the time. You use it to just lift your career. Now you know what it's like to be left, don't you" Mark said with a mocking smile. Shopie clenched both her hands.

"Tell me if you're lying, Mark, then why have you been enjoying every hot night we've been through. You always say love to me" Shopie said.

"It was just Shopie's acting. After all you yourself are thrusting yourself," Mark replied casually.

"Jerk.." concluded Shopie angrily closing the door loudly. He thought after ending up with Kendrick he could still be with Mark.

"Mark.we broke up" Rosaline said. The woman felt being played.

"Honey.. Rose. Listen to my explanation first," concluded Mark chasing Rosaline. Mark forgot that Rosaline was there.

"Enough Mark, there's nothing to explain anymore" Rosaline said. Mark pulled Rosaline's hand and carried her into his arms.

"I'm not going to let go, I don't want you to go" Mark said.

"Mark.don't make me angry. Untie me. I want to calm down first" Rosaline said in a trembling voice. He can't hold back his tears anymore. Reflex, Mark let go of his embrace.

"Rose a__"

"I want to be alone Mark." said Rosaline left Mark who was pecking at his place.

Fiona sleeps by hugging a photo of Sean on her phone. He misses that boy very much. He hopes to dream about the boy again tonight.

"Mommy misses you baby." muttered Fiona staring at her phone screen.

"We miss you too, dear." said someone. That voice was like a stranger to Fiona. He twisted his body and was surprised to see who was standing on the edge of his bed.

Fiona woke up, rubbing her eyes as if she could not believe what she was seeing.

"Ke..Ken.." muttered Fiona down from the top of her bed.

"Why are you here." muttered Fiona blinked her eyes repeatedly.

"Am I dreaming." he murmured again.

"No dear." said Kendrick to Fiona and kissed her head.

"Ken.." said Fiona hugged Kendrick's body and then rebuked. Seeing Kendrick there, made him forget his promise.

As if awakened, Fiona then let go of her embrace making Kendrick furrow both eyebrows.

"Ken, why did you come here" said Fiona eagerly carrying Sean. The little boy also seemed to want to be carried by Fiona.
