Chapter 17: Not Shopie

"Fiona's Day.." said Kendrick gently. Fiona then walks towards the sofa in her room and lands her butt on the sofa. The two sat facing. His gaze was fixed on the delicious Pizza in front of him.

"Let's eat" Kendrick said, picking up a slice of pizza. Fiona took it too. The two are silent with each other enjoying his pizza.

"Are you bored at home?" kendrick asked after finishing the pizza in his hand.

"No Uncle," Fiona replied.

"Say if you're bored, I'll take you for a walk. Or you can have Milly and the others accompany you to explore New York City" Kendrick folded his arms around his chest and leaned against the sofa.

"Good Uncle Ken," Fiona nodded back.

"You just continue eating it. I'd like to take a nap. In half an hour, wake me up to pick up your aunt from her yoga class" Kendrick said, laying down on the couch. Both hands are brought to the back of the head as a cushion on the back of the sofa.

"OMG, why is Uncle Kendrick sleeping here instead," Fiona's mind gulped. What if someone comes to his room and sees Kendrick sleeping in his room. They may think no.

"Uncle Ken, you better sleep in uncle's room. The sofa is too small" Fiona said, looking for an excuse. Kendrick's feet even passed the edge of the couch.

"Uncle Ken," call Fiona but there's no reply.

"What's that fast?" fiona muttered softly. How could the man in front of him sleep so fast. Maybe the man was sleepy since. Ah, Fiona was made dizzy. He took a deep breath and closed the Pizzanya. Fiona takes him downstairs to share with the waiter. It feels a pity if it doesn't end. Kendrick bought 2 big boxes of pizza. And he certainly couldn't spend it himself.

Half an hour later, Fiona returns to her room to wake Kendrick up. Fortunately, he remembered it.

Fiona opens her bedroom door and sees Kendrick still asleep on the couch.

"Gosh my god, Fiona's focus," her mind shook her head.

"Uncle Ken, let's get up. It's been half an hour" call Fiona. Kendrick didn't hear it.

"Uncle Ken, get up" said Fiona slightly lowered her head and pulled the man's shirt. Kendrick squirmed in annoyance.

"Darling.I'm still sleepy." said Kendrick raspy typical of the man when he woke up.

Fiona rounded her eyes. He felt his face start to heat up. What the hell, why can he blush. Though Kendrick probably thinks he's Shopie.

"This is Fiona, not Shopie's aunt" Fiona said .

"Uncle Ken, let's get up. Aunt Shopie may have been waiting for you," Fiona said, shaking Kendrick's arm and not giving up on waking the man up.

"Bugh.." Fiona falls over Kendrick's body. The man pulled his hand with his eyes still closed.

"Darling why you're so noisy, I'm still sleepy" Kendrick muttered hoarsely hugging Fiona's body and peeping her head. The woman's heart was racing faster.

"No. no. oh my heart. Don't be like that" Fiona's inner. He believes Kendrick may feel his heartbeat racing fast.

"Uncle, I'm Fiona not Aunt Shopie" said Fiona trying to release her body, but her strength lost to Kendrick. Fiona sighed. That guy is hard to wake up. His body was strangled because of Kendrick's hand that was tightly hugging him.
