Chapter 23: Converting Files

It didn't feel like Fiona's been in lactation induction for a month. The ASI has also come out, but not very smoothly. Fiona has also kept a distance from Kendrick since the incident that night. But the more he moved, Kendrick got closer. The man even threatened her by spreading a photo of them sleeping together to Shopie who had been out since when she was taken. Fiona does not want her Uncle and Aunt relationship to be ruined because of her. Fiona is eager to ask Shopie to rewind herself to being a milk mother for her baby. Only, he had already signed a letter of agreement with his aunt. He had no money to pay his fine. There was no other choice but to continue the agreement.

"Tock.tock...tok..."

"What is your fiona inside?" call Shopie from outside. Fiona got off her bed. His feet went to the door.

"Czech.." the door opened.

"Fio, Auntie, please. Take this file to your uncle's office" Shopie said.

"Kendrick just called auntie and told you to drop her off. Kendrick has already banned Bibi from going out of the house because aunty will give birth in 2 weeks" Shopie said.

"Alright Aunt, Fio change clothes first," concluded Fiona.

"What about your ASI Fio?" ask Shopie.

"The ASI has come out Auntie, just not smoothly," said Fiona.

"It's okay, you have to be more diligent to pump it," Shopie rubbed Fiona's arm in encouragement. Fiona then nodded.

"The driver will drive you, then Auntie has lunch first," Shopie said, giving the file that Fiona will take to Kendrick's office.

After Shopie's departure, Fiona immediately changed her clothes and put a little makeup on her face.

Fiona arrives in front of Kendrick's large, tall corporate building. Fiona got out of the car and was amazed to see the company building.

"Miss Fiona, I'll be waiting for you here" Elvis said. The driver who drove her, awakened Fiona's daydream. Fiona then nodded and walked towards the company lobby.

Fiona meets the receptionist and directs him to Kendrick's room. Actually Fiona wants to file it at the receptionist. It's just that he thinks back. Fiona is afraid that the file is an important file and the receptionist abuses it. He doesn't just believe. Not wanting to take any chances, Fiona decides to take her to Kendrick's room.

"Ah, that's it.." muttered Fiona looking at the door that read CEO.

Fiona knocks on Kendrick's door. A man who was Kendrick's secretary opened the door.

"Good day sir, I'm Fiona Uncle Kendrick's niece who wants to deliver this file" Fiona said.

"Who came Philip?" ask Kendrick.

"Say your nephew sir" replied Philip.

"Let him in Philip. Go back to your room!" kendrick's orders.

"Please enter Miss," said Philip giving way to Fiona. He then left and closed the door again. Fiona's on her way to Kendrick's desk. The man sat leaning back in his chair by folding into his two hands. Look at Fiona from top to bottom. Fiona was always beautiful as always.

"Ken, I'm just dropping off this file. Shopie's aunt gave it to her" said Fiona, putting the file in her hand on the table.

"I came home first, the driver was waiting for me" said Fiona leaving but Kendrick held her hand. Fiona stopped looking at her hand held by Kendrick.

"Can't you avoid me" Kendrick said.

"I'm not avoiding you, it should be like this" Fiona tried to let go of her hand.

"I don't want Aunt Shopie to think that I'm flirting with you and trying to ruin your relationship" Fiona said flatly.

"I told you never to say that. You never ruined our relationship" Kendrick pulled Fiona's hand until she hit her body. Kendrick wrapped her hands around Fiona's waist.

"Detach.leave me. Elvis is waiting for me downstairs.." Fiona rebels.

"No way, you have to accompany me here" Kendrick said, picking up his phone, calling Elvis and ordering him to go home. Because he needs Fiona's help and they'll be back together later.
