Getting Married for Lying

Getting Married for Lying
133 - Mother-in-law

Vaya stared hesitantly at Vier who was currently tasting Vaya's cream soup. I don't know, Vaya still always feels tense whenever Vier tastes the dishes he cooked.

"Vaya, come here" call Vier.

Vaya immediately got up from her seat, approached Vier and stood beside Vier's chair.

"Vaya, do you know, this creamy soup you made, it's like something's missing?" said Vier.

"Less what, Vier?" ask Vaya.

"Yes, it's incomplete if you don't bribe me" said Vier, dropping Vaya into his lap.

"Hehe, is that it?" Vaya chuckles.

Vier looked into Vaya's eyes with a drugging look.

"Buap me" Vier's plea.

"Wear what? Spoon or lip?" ask Vaya.

Vier grinned mischievously while burying his face into Vaya's chest.

"I want it here, then here, here," Vier hunts down Vaya's neck.

"Haha, so you mean, you want my body to be a bowl of soup?" Vaya laughed while tightly hugging Vier's neck.

"Hmm, of course," said Vier again buried his lips on Vaya's neck.

Vaya laughed as she closed her eyes, enjoying the gentle kisses that landed on her neck.

Vaya really likes the smell of Vier's hair that is still half wet, the fresh lemon scent of his shaving cream, mixed with the scent of a luxurious perfume that is really intoxicating.

"Ehem, Mr. Vier, in thirty minutes you have to arrive at the airport" Mike said.

Early in the morning seeing two people who are drunk with romance certainly makes Mike often feel hot because both of them indulge in excessive intimacy.

"Mike, can you stand down in two hours?" ask Vier.

Mike harrumphed, shaking his head at Vaya. Pleads with Vaya without words.

"Hmm, Vier, you have to leave now" Vaya said as she gently rubbed Vier's face.

"Vaya, don't you want to do it again?" ask Vier.

"Vier, wasn't last night enough?" tanya Vaya flabbergasted.

"Vaya, last night, last night, now it's different" said Vier, rubbing Vaya's neck with anxiety.

"Vieer, hihi, amused," Vaya giggled.

Vaya held Vier's face with both hands and then gave a gentle kiss to Vier's lips.

"See you later tonight" said Vaya.

Vier covered his smile.

"All right, all right," Vier relented.

Vier gently rubbed Vaya's lips with his thumb, immersing a soft, deep kiss.

"Well, see you later tonight" said Vier, removing his lips from Vaya's lips.

Vaya develops her smile, a kiss that works well to negotiate with Vier without having to argue a lot.

Mike bowed deeply towards Vaya, thanking him for understanding the code Mike threw.

It would be very troublesome for Mike if he had to step down from work considering that a few days ago Vier was busy with his personal affairs.

"I'll take you to the office" said Vier.

"Vier, if you take me, you're really going to be late" Vaya said.

Vier hugged Vaya tightly, as if he would not part from Vaya for a second. Vier gives a brief peck on Vaya's forehead.

"See you later" said Vier.

"Yes, Vier, see you later" said Vaya.

Once again Vier looked at Vaya before he went into his car.

Vaya waved her hand with a flowery feeling rumbling within her chest. Right now he really felt a lot of happiness. It felt like he was not willing to separate from Vier even if only for a moment. Like a teenage girl who is kasmaran, that's the circumstances that describe Vaya's current condition.

Vaya rushes back inside the house to get her bag.

After picking up the bag, Vaya headed back to the court to board a car that would take him to the office.

But suddenly, his steps stopped when he saw the figure of a middle-aged and beautiful woman who made Mr. Jo bow in welcoming his presence.

Vaya felt sucked into the black eyes of the woman in the dark blue dress.

"L-yes, Mom," Vaya replied stammering.

Vaya has no choice but to follow Bu Cintami to the park, where Vaya and Vier spend breakfast together.

Ms. Cintami immediately sat on one of the chairs, as soon as Mr. Jo pulled one of the available chairs.

"Please sit down" Cintami invited Vaya.

Vaya immediately sat down, the tension soon penetrated Vaya.

"Want to have some tea?" ask Miss Cintami to Vaya.

"Thank you, ma'am" replied Vaya.

"Sir Jo, please prepare," said Ms. Cintami.

"Okay, ma'am" replied Jo.

Mr. Jo immediately left Vaya and Ms. Cintami in the park.

"You must be wondering, why did I come so early and specifically meet you like this" said Ms. Cintami.

Vaya really felt tense and at this moment her stomach was already wrapped around.

"When we had dinner, we hadn't talked much, so I thought now was a good time to talk and get to know each other better."

Although Ms. Cintami commented on the friendly smile, the tension felt by Vaya did not decrease at all. In fact, it is increasing because now Vaya so think that he is really too late to enter the office.

"Your name is Vaya, right?" ask Miss Cintami.

"I-iya ma'am" replied Vaya.

"By the way, what do your parents do?" ask Miss Cintami.

Vaya was stunned to hear Bu Cintami's question. Why did the middle-aged woman ask about her parents' work?

Vaya was really worried, what was she to say? Does he have to lie?

No, lying in front of a woman who has eyes as if she can tell everything is definitely not a good idea. This woman is her mother-in-law. Vaya certainly does not want to be labeled as the son-in-law of a liar.

"My father died a long time ago, and my mother was a single mother" Vaya replied.

"Oh so," Cintami nodded slowly.

Vaya reveraas his knuckles suddenly cramp.

"Vaya, to be honest, I was really surprised to see you, especially when Vier introduced you as a wife" said Ms. Cintami.

Vaya felt her chest start to feel tight.

"When, the woman who was brought by Vier and introduced as Vier's fiancee was Selena," continued Bu Cintami.

Vaya tried to keep reviewing her smile even though it felt really hard for her to breathe at the moment.

"Selena is a beautiful and attractive girl with a pleasant personality. Selena also has a good educational background because in addition to having a business in the field of imports, the Selena family also manages an integrated school foundation" continued Bu Cintami.

Vaya gulped his saliva, his throat felt very dry.

"With Selena's portfolio so good, as a parent I certainly very much accept Selena as Vier's fiancee, the woman who will be Vier's wife."

Ms. Cintami looked straight at Vaya who looked so tense.

"So, you mean, you don't accept me as Mom's daughter-in-law?"

Vaya tries to draw a conclusion that suddenly comes out of her mouth.

Miss Cintami still maintained her smile.

"Vaya, I really didn't mean that" said Ms. Cintami.

"I'm really not a parent who likes to interfere in Vier's personal affairs."

Ms. Cintami crossed her hands in front of her chest.

"It's up to Vier to marry whom. Vier married you, I really appreciate Vier's decision" said Ms. Cintami.

"Only, do you think you'd be worthy to accompany Vier?"
