"Welcome, Mr. Vier."
Mr. Jo lowered his head as soon as he welcomed Vier's arrival.
"Sir Jo, is Vaya home yet?" ask Vier.
"Already, sir," replied Mr. Jo.
"Why didn't he come to greet me?" ask Vier.
"Is she busy in the kitchen so she can't welcome me?"
"Bu Vaya is in the room, sir," said Mr. Jo.
"In the room?" Vier furrowed next to his brows while glancing at his watch.
"It should be at this hour Vaya is in the kitchen to cook dinner" Vier said.
Vier of course wondered because all day Vaya did not even answer his phone.
"Sir Vier, I have something to say. Your mother came and talked to Ms. Vaya" said Mr. Jo.
"What's? My mamma's coming? When?" ask Vier astonishment.
"So morning" replied Jo.
"Ck," Vier clucked. "What are they talking about, Jo sir?" ask Vier.
"I'm sorry I don't know, sir," replied Mr. Jo.
"Oh so, thank you for your information, Mr. Jo," said Vier.
Vier immediately stepped towards Vaya's room.
"Oh yes, Mr. Jo, please prepare dinner for me" said Vier.
"Okay, sir," replied Jo.
"Sir Vier, did Ms Vaya come to this as she was talking to your mother?" mike asked as he followed Vier.
"Of course, Mike, I'm sure my mom must have spoken well, you must know for yourself, how my mom is" said Vier.
"Hmm, yes sir," answered Mike.
Mike really knows that Ms. Cintami is a woman who cares a lot about the people around Vier. Even when Mike was first working as an assistant to Vier, Bu Cintami was so comfortable with the appearance of Mike who was considered less handsome and less suitable to be able to accompany Vier.
Mike thinks he's accompanying Vier to work instead of dating.
"Mike, you can go home now" Vier ordered.
"Well, sir," said Mike.
Vier let out a heavy sigh before entering Vaya's room.
...*****...
"Do you feel it's appropriate to accompany Vier?"
Bu Cintami's question continues to ring in Vaya's mind.
Vaya stared at the reflection of herself who was currently standing in front of the bathroom mirror. Her hair was still wet as she had just finished shampooing.
Vaya's stomach is no longer sagging as before, his waist has started to form a silhouette, his butt and hips appear more weighty thanks to hard physical exercise. Not to mention his chest also looked firmer and fuller which made Vaya really feel confident with her current body shape. It was just that his skin was dark, instantly making him insecure again.
Selena's beautiful shadow is amazingly dancing in Vaya's mind. Selena's skin is so white, smooth, and shiny clearly looks more attractive compared to Vaya's dark skin.
Not to mention hearing that Selena's family background is equivalent to the Vier family really makes Vaya more inferior.
It was natural when Miss Cintami said Vaya wanted to be like Cinderella. Vaya is just a woman who comes from the lower class, married to Vier who comes from the upper class.
Cinderella was even so beautiful despite living a poor life, whereas Vaya, she clearly did not have a Cinderella-style beauty that could make the prince fall in love at first sight.
Yes, Vaya is aware that his position is only a slave who is currently under a bondage contract with Vier.
Cklek..
The bathroom door opened, Vaya was flabbergasted to see Vier currently standing in the doorway with his eyes immediately severed on Vaya's innocent body.
"Vi-Vier!" Vaya was shocked.
Quickly Vaya looked for a towel she could use.
But too late, Vier had already restrained Vaya's hands and led Vaya to the glass wall.
"Well, my God, this hungry Vaya is my stomach, but seeing you like this, the hungry is no longer my stomach" said Vier.
"Vi-Vier," Vaya grinned wryly.
Vier immediately kissed Vaya's jawline, pressing on the hardened part of her body between Vaya's thighs.
Vier immediately buried his lips in Vaya's lips, frowning and sipping Vaya's lips which always made him addicted. While Vaya tries to release her lips and pushes Vier away.
Vier gives up his kiss on realizing that Vaya is rejecting him. Vaya picked up the kimono towel and put it on immediately.
"Vaya, what's wrong?" ask Vier.
Vaya was silent, not knowing whether he should say all the grunts that filled his head or just stay silent to find safety.
"Vaya, what's wrong? Why are you just quiet?" ask Vier.
"You haven't even answered my phone all day. What's wrong with you?"
"Are you with another man, so you're reluctant to answer my phone?"
Vier strafed Vaya with questions that caught Vaya off guard.
Vier looked at Vaya who had an annoyed expression mixed with sadness that he could not hide. Right now Vaya's mind was completely muddled.
"Vier, I'm self-aware that I'm a woman who doesn't deserve you. I don't deserve to be with you!"
"I'm not beautiful and I don't come from a family of the same level, family as your family!"
"Ck, Vaya!" Vier clucked in annoyance.
Vaya vented out her anger, Vier was still staring straight at Vaya.
"Vier, if your family only likes Selena, you should still marry Selena! Not even marry me!"
Vaya felt tears rushing to her cheeks.
"I know, I'm a lowly woman, but please don't be demeaned anymore! I also have feelings and self-esteem that I have to take care of!"
Vier heaved a heavy sigh seeing Vaya crying as unwillingly as it was. What his mother had talked about was definitely not a pleasant thing for Vaya, that was what Vier currently had in mind.
"Vaya, what are you talking about? I really don't understand what you're talking about" asked Vier, pretending.
"Why are you suddenly stirring like this, Vaya? What's the matter exactly?"
"Vier, I mean it, hicks..."
Vaya's words were stifled.
"Vier, I really realize that I really don't deserve you!"
"We are from a completely different world!"
"You're really so perfect, it's only natural that your mother doesn't accept a woman like me who's full of these flaws!"
"Women like me don't deserve to be with you, Vier! This woman like me should be accompanying a man of the same level as me!"
"The man who deserves me is not the man who wears a fancy suit that comes straight from Italy like you!"
"The man who deserves me is not the man who can take me on a romantic luxury vacation!"
"Your mother even told me to stop being the Cinderella that lives in fairy tales!"
Vaya wiped her misty eyes as they were filled with tears.
Yes, the man before her who was currently looking at her fixedly was not the man Vaya could reach.
"Vaya, why do you care so much about what my mom says?" ask Vier.
"Vier! Of course I should care about what your mother says!" sahut Vaya's.
"Yes! Then why should you care? Didn't I tell you it's better you don't mind my mother's words?" said Vier.
"I must be accepted by your mother, Vier," said Vaya.
Vaya looked at Vier fixedly.
"I have to be accepted by your family, so I can be a part of your life, right?" vaya said with a tone full of bitterness.
Vier stepped forward to approach Vaya.
"What do you mean, Vaya?" ask Vier.
"Aren't you already a part of my life?"
"Yes, I have indeed become a part of your life in accordance with the contract you gave me!" sahut Vaya's.
Vaya took off the ring embedded in her left ring finger and handed it to Vier.
"I don't deserve you, Vier!"
