Getting Married for Lying

Getting Married for Lying
076 - Grace and Niki

Prak...

A smart device was thrown and landed seamlessly on the workbench. A beautiful woman sitting behind a desk is what throws a smart device. His emotions were still overflowing, beating his heart. The beautiful woman brushed her long hair straight, brown, and as smooth as silk.

Geck.. Geck..

The sound of knocking on the door in his study made the woman turn her head. A young woman walked into her desk.

"Mom Grace, this is the sales report you requested."

The woman handed over the documents that Grace had directly taken.

"Go, Joyce," Grace ordered.

"Well, Mom," said Joyce.

Grace flips through the sheets of the document, her smart phone ringing gets her attention distracted.

If Joseph had called, I wouldn't have answered, Grace.

"Hi, Niki!" sahut Grace answered the phone from Niki.

...*****...

"Grace!"

Niki immediately rushed over and hugged Grace to welcome her arrival. Grace notices Niki's unusually sexy appearance. The black dress with a low cleavage makes Niki's large twin assets perfectly sprawled and steals the attention of nightclub visitors.

Grace and Niki immediately sat down at the front desk of the bartender.

"Niki, you look different!" Grace was flabbergasted to see Niki's appearance.

"Haha, yes, I did make a slight change to my lips and nose," Niki chuckled proudly.

"What do you drink? Let me handle it" said Niki quickly.

"No, Niki, after this I still have to work," Grace refused.

"Oh, Grace! You're still like this! Why do you have to work hard? Working hard is a man's job! Why don't you just hand over the task of finding money to your husband? What good is your husband if the one who worked so hard is you!" cerocos Niki's.

Grace smiled at her best friend. He and Niki are friends because their parents are good friends.

"Niki, the only person I can count on is myself" Grace said diplomatically.

"Grace, I really understand how you feel. Having such a lame and unreliable husband must have really weighed on you," Niki chuckled.

"It's a pity that you should marry a man like Joseph just because of your parents' insistence" Niki sympathized.

"So, I really can't just stand idly by and let my hard work crumble because of a man who's completely useless" Grace smiled faintly.

"Oh, Grace! If you were a man, I would definitely marry you! Hihi," Niki chuckled.

"Haha," Grace laughed.

"Oh yeah, by the way the matter of getting married, me and Jovy are planning to get married" Niki said.

"Oh, well, this is shocking news" Grace said.

"Hm, yes, actually the original purpose I planned to marry Jovy was to make Vier jealous" Niki said as she sipped her drink.

"Vier?" grace's forehead wrinkled.

"Yes, a while ago I met Vier. I thought he'd be jealous, apparently not. How disappointing! Haha!" Niki laughed again.

"Oh, yes, and I heard again, Vier is married" Niki continued.

Grace stiffened at Niki's words. Niki sipped back the drink with a high enough alcohol content that he ordered. When feeling restless and anxious, it has become a habit of Niki to drink high alcohol content.

"I'm so upset, Grace! You know, Vier even ended our relationship for no apparent reason. But now that she's married to another woman, instead" Niki starts to shed tears.

"Niki, save your tears, isn't Jovy by your side?"

"No, Grace! There is no man like Vier! That cold attitude really made me grunt myself! Hicks! Until now I can't even forget it! How's this, Grace?!"

Niki came back crying. Niki had started to get drunk until her chatter started getting out of control.

"Niki, you're getting drunk, I'm gonna ask Jovy to come get you" Grace said.

"I'm not drunk, Grace! I'm just heartbroken again, hiks!"

Grace abandoned her intention to contact Jovy. He sat pensively in front of the bartender's desk listening to Niki's babble.

The problem itself was so much, plus having to hear about Niki's problems made Grace finally decide to order a cocktail on the bartender.

...*****...

Vaya latched herself in front of the mirror in the bathroom. The loose-fitting grey t-shirt he was wearing right now was the one Yoran had lent him. Vaya is quite surprised why there are no women's clothes in the Yoran apartment unit.

Vaya exits the bathroom, finding Yoran brewing coffee in the kitchen.

"You want coffee?" ask Yoran.

Vaya shook her head slowly.

"I can't drink coffee" replied Vaya.

"Oh so," said Yoran.

Yoran immediately brought coffee to her desk. While Vaya sits on the sofa, watching Yoran who is getting busy at work.

Vaya still feels that this must be just her dream. Can look at Yoran as she used to do when she was in school.

"What's up, Vaya? Are you feeling bored?" ask Yoran.

Vaya shook his head quickly.

"How can I be bored, if all I'm looking at is you, Yoran?" said Vaya.

Yoran got up from her chair, she immediately sat down beside Vaya.

"Is that a fight for me?" yoran asked while tucking her hair behind Vaya's ears.

Vaya smiled shyly.

"Depends on how you interpret it."

Yoran kissed Vaya's lips at a glance.

"I'm really happy to hear all the sweet words from your lips, Vaya," Yoran said.

Vaya reviewed her smile, welcoming back Yoran's lips. They want each other and want each other.

Yoran unbuttoned the shirt she was wearing. Vaya's eyes were fixed on Yoran's body, not because the body was athletic enough, but on a scar resembling a deep scratch.

"Yoran, why are there so many scars on your body?" ask Vaya.

"You must be disgusted?" ask Yoran.

Vaya shakes.

"I don't think disgust, it's just that it must have been very painful" Vaya said. "How did you get these injuries, Yoran? Who did it?" ask Vaya.

Yoran huffed, looking down deep.

"Yoran? What was? You can tell me" said Vaya.

"'Sorry, Vaya, I don't think I can tell you that" Yoran said.

"Yoran, I'm just worried about you. It's heartbreaking to hurt your beautiful body" said Vaya.

Yoran looked at Vaya who really looked anxious. Yoran was wondering if she should tell Vaya.

"Grace did it," Yoran said in the end.

Vaya closed her mouth, flabbergasted to the point of being speechless.

"Yoran, how can it be?"

"Grace attacked me whenever he felt angry, making me a bag of samsak" Yoran replied.

Vaya frowned.

"There's no way that meek-looking woman would be violent towards you, Yoran! His hands were even so smooth and soft!" Vaya.

"I know, you wouldn't believe it. Yeah, well, everybody wouldn't believe the hurt I received either. Everyone would think that this wound I was going through must be because I forced Grace to serve me. Grace was just protecting herself! That's what others will assume" replied Yoran.

Yoran's eyes glared far away. Vaya took Yoran's hand, grasping it tightly.

"Yoran, I believe in you, even if other people say no" Vaya said.
