"Mother!"
Vero stepped slowly down the stairs. The boy found his mother in Vier's arms.
Vaya is aghast at Vero's voice, the reflex he tries to get away from Vier, but Vier holds him back. Vaya looks up as Vier gives the code to pretend to be asleep.
Vaya quickly closed his eyes, he had no choice but to follow the code Vier gave him. Of course he had to think about what reason to say to Vero who had caught him like this.
"Mother!"
Vero approached Vaya, wagging his mother's arms in Vier's arms.
"Mother, why sleep here?! Wake Mom!"
"This too, Mr. Vier! Why hug my mother?!"
Vero pushes Vier, Vier reviews his smile, wanting it to feel like he also pulls Vero into his arms.
"Hoam!" Vaya pretends to yawn while encouraging Vier to take off his embrace.
"Lho, Vero?" said Vaya.
"Mother!" Vero slammed into Vaya's arms.
"Mom why sleep here? Why hug Mr. Vier?"
"Hug Mr Vier?! Oh, I must have overslept" replied Vaya.
Oh, my gosh, Vaya! You are a really liar woman! Inner Vier.
"Hmmm, Vero, I didn't mean to hug your mother. I just had a fever and needed something to hold in order to feel comfortable" Vier explained to Vero.
"Attributively hugging my mother! Is my mom rolling?!" spray Vero.
Vier reviewed the smile but quickly put on a hearty expression as Vaya glared at him
"Vero, if you're sick, you're gonna hug your mom, right?" ask Vier.
"Of course!" answer Vero.
"Well, so am I. When I'm sick, I need a hug, too" continued Vier.
"Then just hug Mr. Vier's mother, don't hug my mother" Vero said.
Vier wanted to laugh at Vero's sneer. Vier ruffled Vero's hair.
"Well, if I can't hug your mother, then I'll just hug you" Vier said.
"No want! I'll get sick!" reject Vero.
"Come on, ma'am" Vero took Vaya away.
"Uhukk, Vaya," Vier said.
Vaya glared at Vier before going upstairs with Vero.
Mike who was observing from the front of the window could only shake his head.
Basic family full of drama, inner Mike.
Mike rubbed his arm, although still wearing a suit, he still felt cold.
"Shall I sleep in the car?" mumbled Mike.
"But what if there's nothing inside?" Mike is still muttering.
"Maike."
Mike gasped, turning to Vier, who was standing at the door.
"Sir Vier," Mike immediately moved out of his chair.
"Mike, should we go now?" ask Vier.
"Go now?" Mike furrowed next to his eyebrows.
"It seems pointless that I stay here longer. Vaya is really not willing to come back to me, even though I have asked for it," said Vier with full bitterness.
"But sir..," said Mike restrained.
"I can't stay here any longer, Mike. I fear, I will again impose my will on Vaya! I'm afraid Vaya will get hurt more because of my ego. I also do not want to make Vero increasingly think that I am a really bad father and deserve to be imprisoned" said Vier.
Mike breathed a heavy sigh, it felt really unfortunate. They've come all this way to get Vaya and Vero back. But Vaya who insisted on resisting and Vier who could not force the will, clearly would not find a meeting point.
In the end, Vier decided to give up.
"Well, if this is your decision. It's just, it would be very risky if we leave now, sir. It's past midnight and you need to rest to recover your condition" Mike said.
"Mike, I feel the sooner I go the better. I felt that my departure was what Vaya wanted so much for now" said Vier, glancing down the silent and silent path.
Just a gust of night wind that was so cold and the smell of rain, made Vier's unease even greater.
...*****...
Vaya could not close her eyes. He looked at the ceiling, then turned to Vero who was sleeping beside him.
Vaya felt such great unrest and uneasiness.
Right now, downstairs, there was Vier whom he had missed so much. The anger and disappointment he had in the man took over his heart and feelings.
Vaya is too scared if Vier just comes back to play him.
During these three years, Vaya even lived without any clear certainty from Vier. It was as if the man was playing tricks on him. Asks Vaya to prove that Vaya loves him very much, but Vier instead plays him.
...*****...
By morning, Vaya who really could not sleep immediately moved from her bed. It's time to get ready to open the shop. Likewise with Bu Asih who has woken up from sleep. While Aria and Vero are still asleep in their warm blankets.
Bu Asih chose not to ask Vaya much. The middle-aged woman had decided to be neutral, not taking sides with her son or daughter-in-law. He left all the decisions in Vaya's hands.
Asih ma'am came down the stairs slowly while scanning the quiet downstairs.
"Good morning, ma'am," said Vier, who sat in one of the empty seats.
"How are you doing, son Vier?" Bu Asih observed Vier's already neat appearance.
"I feel better, Mom, thank you for worrying about me" Vier said.
Vaya came down the stairs with a feeling of anxiety. At this time he felt dizzy because he could not sleep at all.
Once you see Vier who looks neat, Vaya's heart feels sliced back. The man looked clear as if he was preparing to leave.
"Vaya" said Vier.
Vaya only replied to Vier's greeting with a flat look.
"Vaya, can we talk for a second? Five minutes," Vier's pinta.
...*****...
Vaya follows Vier's steps leading him to the courtyard of the house. The morning air was still so cold and the dewdrops had started to wet the leaves.
"Vaya."
Vier stopped his steps, his body turning towards Vaya.
"Vaya, what if we make a deal?"
"What deal?" ask Vaya.
"Don't say you won't say it before I say you agree!"
"I have to listen first to what you have to offer, consider it carefully before deciding."
Vaya really does not want to be fooled and trapped like before.
"Well, I'll say it clearly, and then you consider it carefully before deciding. I'll give you time to think, but certainly in the limited time I've determined."
Vier began negotiations with his distinctive style.
"Come with me to Paris, and I'll grant you whatever you want, even if it's a divorce" Vier said.
"Wait for your answer in an hour."
