Getting Married for Lying

Getting Married for Lying
004 - Return

Happy reading...

Vaya visits her parents' house as soon as the weekend arrives. He visits his family at the earliest once a month. Given the busyness of his work and the distance that is quite far between the parents' house with his office because Vaya works in the city next door.

Upon arriving at his parents' house, Vaya was immediately greeted by a warm embrace from the mother. Aria, her fifteen-year-old sister, hugged her, as if she had not seen each other for a long time.

"Mother, Aria, you guys are like we haven't seen each other in years" Vaya grumbled.

"Sir Vaya you know comes once a month only, even more," Aria murmured.

"Sir Vay brought souvenirs huh?" Twenty-three-year-old Rian's sister Vaya emerges from the house.

"Oh, Brother bring torn bread, not a bun like your stomach," replied Vaya as he thrust four boxes of torn bread into the stomach of the bully Rian.

Rian chuckled while hugging his favorite torn bread.

Vaya's mother was Ibu Asih, a fifty-year-old woman who had become a widow after her husband died decades ago when her son was a child.

Living within economic limitations must be lived by their families. Without relatives who can help.

But since Vaya has started working, their family's economic life has slowly begun to be more prosperous than before.

As usual the ritual of dinner together must be done by Vaya and her sisters.

"Rian, how was your lecture? Are there any signs you're starting to draft the final assignment?" ask Vaya.

"What a final task, brother, until now I have not even got a place for an internship," replied Rian.

"Yes, just be sought, do not be picky," said Vaya.

"Aria, what's your school?" ask Vaya to Aria.

"Sister, I'm confused, want to go to SMA or SMK?" ask Aria.

"My friends want to enter SMK so that once graduated can immediately find work" said Aria.

"Aria, you don't need to worry about the cost, there is your brother who can still make money, you just go to the right school" said Vaya.

"What about you, Vaya? Is there a desire to get married yet?" ask Bu Asih.

"Mother, Rian and Aria still need a fee for school" said Vaya.

"Vaya, actually this mother is already uncomfortable to hear the words of the neighbors who assume that you are not married because Mother forced you to be the backbone of the family. Though yes, if you want to marry, yes marry, I will not forbid," said Bu Asih.

"Mother, already, don't listen to the neighbors. We don't ask them to eat. I'm married or not, it's none of their business" Vaya said.

"Yes, Mom, after all, Vaya doesn't have a boyfriend, who wants to marry?" ceplos Rian's.

"Rian?!" Vaya glared towards the chuckling Rian.

...*****...

After dinner together, Vaya enters her room. He immediately threw himself in the bed. Looking around his room that never changes.

Only the sheets are constantly replaced periodically by his mother. Everything in Vaya's room was the same as it had been since the last few years when Vaya left home.

He opened his closet. Among the pile of clothes, he found a box that had been sealed using black duct tape even affixed to the papers of the repulsion spell, bala, vaya's designations for skull-based papers to symbols from poisonous to flammable items.

While still sitting in High School, Vaya is a cheerful and energetic girl. He grew up to be a man who adored and glorified love. His desire while still in school was so simple. He wants to have a girlfriend who can accompany him through the good times while at school.

Countless how many young men have become the idol of his heart. Starting from handsome upperclassmen, mediocre underclassmen, childhood friends, to next door neighbors.

He even likes to collect photos of his girlfriend, even registering them so that he does not have to twice get rejected when expressing love. His bedroom is decorated with pictures of his heart. Obsessed, that's a word that can describe how ambitious Vaya is to get a boyfriend. He even received an honorary title as a man-hunter whose shreds always ended in rejection.

I don't know what kind of courage Vaya has. Either the veins of shame that have broken up or burning ambition and obsession crazy.

The book listing the names of the young men who had rejected it became a conclusion of the contents of the box. Vaya read one by one the names he wrote, complete with the date of the rejection he received.

Vaya finds a piece of photo whose yellowed paper has been eaten by time. The only photo he had at the class breakup.

There was Yoran's figure that caught Vaya's attention. Vaya holds the photo, recalling how happy she was to be in class with Yoran after praying for almost three years and in her third year she finally got to be in class with Yoran.

Vaya stared at the portrait fixedly, observing the figure of the girl who looked messy, dull-skinned and dark, with limp and greasy hair. He realized just how horrible he looked in those days. At that time he became the one who split the mirror because of his terrible appearance.

It is fitting that he is often ridiculed by "he whose name is not worth remembering" as a person who does not have a mirror.

Every day always make a confession of love and make all the young men run around because they are chased.

Only one name of the young man was not in the book. A name he never even wanted to write in the book.

Vierlove, better known as Vier.

The young man who felt everyone loved him so much, adored him so much, even worshiped him.

If he founded a sect, it would have been many of his followers. The young man who always changes lovers as fast as the earth rotates. Too confident, too ambitious, too haughty, and too much too often.

Vaya doesn't like Vier but he doesn't hate him either, he's more likely to ignore him. Especially when he knows that Mima and Ibe were Vier's lovers before becoming friends with Vaya. How painful it was to be banished by Vier in less than two days for Mima and one and a half for Ibe.

The important thing was ever delivered to school with a sports car driven by Vier, has become a pride in that era. Moreover, the status as Vier's former lover was so high in the eyes of the youths. Until it can be likened to civet coffee. Only the best coffee beans that the civet wants to consume.

Almost every girl has been Vier's lover. Ranging from the most beautiful, tall, and slim to a standard face, fat, even thin cheeks.

"All the girls are beautiful!" said Vier.

"That handsome one is just me!" continue with full confidence.

"All pretty girls can be my girlfriends, only boys can't!"

His style of speech was exactly like that of a medicine seller in a traditional market. With good looks and so royal capital made the girls volunteer to present themselves. Even though they were immediately dumped, they were happy and proud to have been given the status of Vier's ex-girlfriend.

Waitaminute! Why do I remember Vier?! Think Vaya.

Shouldn't Vaya pay more attention to Yoran?

Yoran who had been his obsession all this time?

Didn't he think that Yoran could have been engaged to have even been married?

At once Vaya's guts shrieked considering that Yoran might not have been as alone as she was.

Vaya's daydream instantly froze as soon as he found his phone ringing, with an unknown number. Vaya weighed whether he had to answer or not because it could have been a scam under the guise of a lottery prize.
