Amy threw her body on the soft mattress in her room while exhaling tired breaths. It turned out that the time spent chatting with the servants and traveling around the house spent hours until he was not aware of the time was approaching the afternoon, and her husband had not yet appeared.

Even so he was grateful to fill his free time by getting to know the servants in the house one by one, because of his busy life, he forgot the time and forgot his problem with Mark for a few pleasant hours.

Moreover, at first he was skeptical could quickly remember the whole face and names of his servants, but thanks to his work as a secretary first who had to meet many clients with Markus, but, it did not take long to remember the faces and names of the servants in this house.

Although of course there are some maids who are still not on his ship, but he has a lot of time to get to know all the servants in this house well—if the conversation with Markus later went smoothly.

Markus could divorce her anytime soon. Perhaps after taking a moment away, Markus subconsciously kept Amy by his side to make her miserable just a waste of time.

If that's what Markus wants, then Amy has no right to protest, even though she actually wants to maintain their marriage.

Glancing at the door where Mark's clothes were, Amy recalled that she had a servant move all her luggage to Mark's room.

Like it or not, Amy won't let Markus put her in another room. She will be in the same room as her husband, who will remind her when he will return home.

Did he come home late to avoid it?

If that's what she's planning, then Markus will see how persistent Amy is in waiting for her husband to come home despite having to endure the drowsiness all night.

Unfortunately no matter how much Amy endured her drowsiness that night, her eyelids still slowly closed when the clock showed midnight.

Waking up the next morning, Amy rolled her gaze across the room looking for signs of her husband, who after a good look the room remained as she had last seen.

There was no trace of her husband entering the room. To make sure Amy went downstairs and asked Meggie who was busy ordering some servants on duty.

"Meg, did you see my husband coming back?"

"Sorry, Miss, it looks like Mr. Xander didn't come home last night" he replied, looking pityful to Amy. "There may be urgent work that requires Mr. Xander's attention in the office."

Amy smiled wryly listening to that lousy excuse. If that's the reason, of course Markus can update it, instead of making it look stupid in front of his servant because he does not know where it is now.

Not wanting to misinterpret her annoyance caused by Meggie's reply intending to comfort her and make the servants in the house gossip about her unkind relationship with Markus, Amy forced a smile on her face.

"Maybe you're right. I forgot to check my phone, maybe my husband sent me a message about why he didn't come home last night."

Along her way back to the room, Amy maintained a fake smile on her face. As the door closed, Amy rushed to her suitcase, looking for something inside.

If her annoying husband doesn't want to see her, let him meet her.

Niente. Even after going to her husband's office, Amy still could not meet Markus there.

Waiting for 5 hours there is no use either! Either her husband is really busy with his job or he is deliberately avoiding her.

Her husband really ignited the anger in Amy. He's really frustrated. And the peak of his frustration exploded on the third day Mark had not yet returned home.

That afternoon Amy was planning to go to the backyard hoping to find peace there. For three days being supported inside the house facing the curious gazes of the servants in the house was stifling.

He needs fresh air. Hope the silence in the backyard can calm him a little.

As he was about to approach the door that led to the back door, a piece of whispering caught his attention.

"—it must be with another woman out there" said a voice Amy identified as Lucy. "From the beginning I knew that their relationship was not good. Just look at his horrible appearance that day."

"I told you my Markus couldn't possibly have targeted that ordinary woman. She must have done a sneaky trick that forced my Mark to marry her" said another girl full of spite.

Curious as to who said that, Amy quietly peered at the half-open door.

"Hus~ he's not "Your Mark"!" scold another girl named Penny. "When do you wish Mr Xander would look at you, Delilah?"

"If that ordinary woman alone can hook Mr. Xander with her cunning tricks, why can't I? Moreover, I have something that the ordinary woman does not have, "be proud, puffing her chest to show how plump hers are to others.

Oh it was that flirtatious blonde who said it, Amy thought cynically. No wonder her name was Delilah, she did look like the meaning of her name Teaser.

"Stop calling her an 'common woman', Delilah, she's your employer's wife, call her Miss Amy" Penny said. "And if you forget, didn't you ever use that sneaky trick of yours on Mr. Xander by throwing your body on his bed that resulted in you almost getting fired, if Meggie hadn't intervened to help you. So, this thing is useless!"

The last sentence was thrown by Penny while pointing towards Delilah's large chest, but the tease was provoking giggles from the other girls there.

Not accepting to be a laughing stock, Delilah just hit Penny, and the two servants were fighting each other's mouths, which ended up grabbing each other's hair.

The dilemma must be broken— which means the same as Amy announced to all of them that since then she had eavesdropped on— or let the two servants continue to bicker, Amy was made relieved when the cook Molly—sang appeared and stopped the fight.

"Based on you two shameless dimwitted girls," a swearing swore flowed out incessantly from Molly's mouth as she grumbled at the two girls.

The two girls bowed in fear before the fierce cook.

"Miss Amy, what are you doing here?" A confused voice was heard from behind Amy.

Surprised in shock at the question, Amy widened her eyes to Meggie, who was tilting her head, looking at her in confusion.

Too surprised Amy accidentally hit the door behind her, which resulted in all eyes now on her.

"Geez, he heard it!" chirp Lucy sonorous.

Without a second thought Amy galloped away leaving the place without saying a word.
