Amy violently throws Mark's body into the bed. The sound of her hunting breath echoed within the room, her eyes glaring furiously at her husband who was still unconscious from his drunkenness as well.
Along the way they returned to her husband's house occasionally moaning or murmuring indistinctly in his sleep.
Every effort was actually done Amy to resuscitate her husband, from slapping his face to shaking his body, and the latter deliberately threw him into bed. But her husband still flinch, as if deliberately adding to Amy's annoyance to him.
Her patience has reached its limit, this time she will not let Mark go after she knows what her husband has done out there.
Not wanting to let Mark out of her surveillance, Amy accidentally sits in a chair facing the bed while waiting for her husband to get out of his sleep.
Before the sun appeared on the horizon, Mark awoke from his sleep in a state of intense headache, like someone was pounding his head incessantly, not to mention the nausea he felt almost made him collapse while running into the bathroom spewing out all his stomach contents.
Slightly feeling better after vomiting, Mark washed his face to refresh himself, that's when his eyes met with Amy's eyes standing looking at him cynically in the mirror reflection in the bathroom.
“At last you realized also from your drunkenness, my husband.”
“Did you take me home?”
“Why? Do you wish you were somewhere other than in your own home?” ask Amy back. “For example on your lover's bed maybe.”
Reversing his body, Markus walked up to Amy then stood beside her muttering, “At least it's better than here with you.”
Amy turned to look at him with a deeply beaten face, then her facial expression turned to wrath.
“At first I wished that this was just my guess, but since you've admitted it there's nothing else we need to talk about. I'm going to leave this house now. May you be happy with your fucking lover!”
Then Amy galloped away to pick up her clothes in the closet and throw them in her suitcase.
Mark's hand suddenly grabbed his wrist and jerked him to stop throwing his clothes into the suitcase blindly.
“Stop what you're doing right now!” mark's orders were rude. “You think what are you doing?”
With teary eyes, Amy tried hard to release her hand from Mark's grasp, and because she could not succeed she beat Mark's chest with her free hand.
“If you wish I would stay in this house after you betray me like this, you are crazy!” He grabbed Mark's collar. “Your revenge has gone too far, Mark.”
Amy's hand was still clutching her collar.
“I have never once betrayed you, so throw that stupid thought out of your head.” Markus jerks Amy's hand to bring their faces closer. “If you're talking about betrayal you're the expert, dear Amy. Can't you still marry another man while you still love someone else?”
The piercing innuendo made the flames of anger in Amy's eyes begin to dim.
“I... i...” Amy's mouth was about to say that she didn't love Samuel anymore, but somehow she couldn't get the word out of her mouth, maybe she wasn't too sure about her feelings right now. “I don't know how I feel now.”
The soft answer made Mark immediately release his grip on Amy's hand. A bitter laugh came out of his mouth.
“Really my poor Amy.”
“But even though I don't know how I feel right now, Mark, I can assure you that I'm no longer in touch with Samuel.” Amy admitted. “Whatever you heard that day, you should know that I've decided to start learning to love you.”
Momentary silence.
“I don't need your love. All I need now is your loyalty.”
“If that's what you want, then you don't have to worry, I'll always be loyal to you, Mark,” Amy promised. “Does this mean you've forgiven me?”
“I never said so,” replied Markus quickly. “Your big lie is not that easy for me to forget, Amy.”
At first glance looks disappointment on Amy's face, which was immediately lost replaced by an expression full of determination.
“If you still haven't forgiven me at least you should stop moving away from me like now.” Amy looked at him in annoyance. “I won't let you sleep outside the house anymore. Just like you, I also want loyalty from you.”
After saying that, Mark walked towards the door, already impatiently away from his wife.
“Where are you going?” amy asked, screaming behind her.
Stopped right in front of the door, he turned his head back. “Whatever you don't have in it.”
After that Markus opened the door and immediately went downstairs to his study not far from the stairs. Behind him he heard Amy running out of his room, his wife apparently wanted to make sure that he would not leave the house again.
When he was in his study, he approached the closet where he placed various types of liquor there.
Right now he really needed the liquor to go back to dispelling his consciousness. His close relationship with Amy almost drove him crazy.
But he thought after three days of not seeing his lying wife he would not feel anything for her, but in fact, passion was still turbulent in him when he came into contact with his lying wife in the room earlier.
How could he still want Amy after what Amy did to him. For three days immersing himself in a booze, he hoped Amy would gradually be erased from his head and heart.
It had occurred to him also to respond to the seduction from the women who teased him at the nightclub—hoping it would hurt Amy as she felt it now, but whenever the temptation came to him, he always saw the image of his lying wife on the faces of the women who approached him.
God fucking. Really fucking. Whatever she does, Amy's face will always haunt her wherever she is.
Then now he was in the grip of his lying wife again and almost grabbed her into the arms as both eyes full of sadness looked at him.
Unlike what she showed, Amy's tears always managed to affect her. Especially when he heard the word of love from Amy's mouth earlier he almost melted and forgave her, but fortunately he immediately dismissed the thought when he remembered all the lies Amy had told him so far.
He will no longer be consumed by lies that are thrown from the lips of his lying wife. Experience taught him to no longer trust women easily for the umpteenth time.
She should have known that Amy was just like any other woman. He had misjudged his wife's character all along. How much he regretted his stupidity. It seemed like he was indeed cursed to be surrounded by heartless women.
##
It was a little afternoon when Amy closed the door of the room where Markus was sleeping on his bed. Apparently her husband was back intoxicated again after their conversation in the room this morning.
Amy could not sleep in her bed for long, which led her to go downstairs and check if her husband was still there.
It was then that she found her husband unconscious on the couch in his study, which ended up asking the male servant in the house to bring Mark into his room.
And now that he had finished taking care of his drunken husband, he prepared to go downstairs to prepare for his missed breakfast.
On her way to the dining room, Meggie stopped right in front of her with a look of uneasiness.
“Sorry, Miss, but something needs your attention now.”
It was only then that he heard the sound of commotion in the front room. Not long after that appeared a woman expression upset was nagging while wagging her hair.
Realizing her breakfast will be delayed even longer, Amy flutters her hands telling Meggie and the other waitresses who are running after the woman, leaving her alone with the ominous guest who is now walking up to her.
“Actually what has happened to the servants in this house?” tanyanya was not happy. “I know they're not this rough first.”
“They just do the job. You yourself what did you do by barging into your boss' house this noisy?” Amy looked at her husband's secretary with a hostile face. “Have you always been this unpleasant every time you came to your boss' house?”
“I wouldn't have behaved like this if only the servants of this house hadn't kicked me out like a bum,” her husband's secretary replied sniffling, her eyes narrowing suspiciously at Amy. “You must have said something bad about me to all the maids in this house, so they have been so rude to me.”
“Maybe they have a good reason to do that,” Amy replies cynically, growing increasingly upset over the lack of this secretary of her husband. “After that I just ordered that no one would bother my husband today. He is not in a state to welcome a guest, especially a brash guest like you.”
“Unfortunately this brash guest needs approval from your husband for a very important matter, so like it or not you should let me meet your husband,” he replied unyieldingly. “And stop acting like a restraint wife.”
Unable to bear the insults of the venomous woman's mouth before her, Amy prepares to make a similarly harsh reply, but the voice of an unknown woman interrupts their conversation.
“The more sassy you are, Madelyne Langton," decak the new guest. “But ‘there will be Daniel you can ask for approval if Markus is not in the office. Where did the vice playboy go?”
