I Will Marry You (I'll Marry You)
The Secret You Don't Want to Know

Upon her sister's return from the operating room, Amy and her mother and others entered the room where her sister was treated. How devastated Amy was to see her sister sleeping helplessly on her bed with a face full of bruises and wounds.

The tears she had been holding back from earlier began to unstoppably flow down her cheeks. He should not cry, it would only make his sister worried when he woke up later. He must be strong. What his sister needs is support from all of them, instead of crying and looking weak like this.

How much Amy worried what she would explain to her sister later about the paralysis she got due to the fateful accident. Surely his sister's heart will be broken into pieces. How not, his sister always dreamed of becoming a famous ballerina.

Imagining the pain he would see in his sister's eyes alone had made his chest feel this tight, especially when the time came he delivered the bad news. Turning away from her sister who was still fast asleep, Amy caught the departure of her superior from the room secretly.

Intending to thank her for driving her to the hospital, Amy was stopped at the door when she heard her mother's call.

"Oh, thank God" exclaimed her mother hugging her sister who was still lying limp in her bed.

Walking quickly up to her sister's bed, Amy was greatly relieved when she saw her sister's eyes staring at them alternately in the room.

"Mom, where am I?" ask his brother weakly.

"You're in the hospital, baby," elus his mother on his sister's hair. "Have you forgotten you just had an accident?"

"Accident?" Frowning her forehead, Sophie tried to remember the events that had happened to her that day. "Ah, the car accident."

Sophie's eyes drifted rapidly towards Samuel who was standing beside Amy. Surprisingly, Sophie's romance turned into panic mixed with embarrassment.

Surprised by her sister's attitude, Amy glanced at Samuel as well. Judging from the romance of Samuel's restless face, he also looked just as strange as his sister.

What's wrong with those two? Why are they acting so awkward? As Amy learns before the accident, the two of them act as usual before the three of them promise to meet at their usual gathering place. Or maybe Sophie's accident had something to do with the strange behavior that the two of them are showing right now.

As if aware of Amy's full-sighted gaze towards the two of them. Sophie immediately threw away her face and turned to face her mother.

"Mom, I want to rest. Can you leave me alone?" pinta.

"Are you sure you're okay?" asked his mother still looks worried about leaving his sister alone.

"I'm fine, Mom." Sophie patted her mother's hands to calm her down.

"Well, if that's what you want. But if you need anything, I'll always be there for you outside." His mother refused to stand up from her seat. "Just call Mom or Amy if you need any help."

Smiling weakly, Sophie nodded softly to her mother.

After being outdoors, Amy told her mother to go home. But today was a tough day for her mother. Not to mention Sophie's paralysis is still the biggest concern for all of them.

So far thank God Sophie has not realized her paralysis. Hopefully, his sister still did not realize it until he found a solution to restore the condition of his sister as usual.

Amy needs to talk to the doctor about it. Perhaps the paralysis of his sister is only temporary, maybe it is just the trauma effect of the accident he experienced. That way, Amy can calm Sophie when she knows the condition of her legs later. Not having this kind of hope made him unable to rest for a moment.

For a while her mother refused to go home, but thanks to Amy's determination to get her mother to rest in order to calm her chaotic mind, her mother finally gave up on her request.

Shortly after her mother's departure from the hospital, Amy pulled Samuel's hand away from the room where her sister was resting. Amy didn't want her sister to hear the conversation she was having with Samuel.

Releasing Samuel's hand from his grasp, Amy paced out in front of Samuel. He was confused where to start. Should he ask the question of why the accident happened or why Samuel and Sophie were acting strange in the room earlier.

Amy halted her steps and faced Samuel with a serious look.

"Tell me, Sam, what's going on with you and Sophie? Why were you guys acting so weird?"

Although he also wanted to know why Sophie could experience an accident, but the questions he asked now made him more curious. Inexplicably, Amy has a premonition that Samuel and Sophie's awkwardness has something to do with her sister's accident.

"Show weird do you mean? We behaved as usual, nothing was different," Sam explained with a soothing smile at him.

"You can't lie to me, Sam. I know something has happened to both of you" Amy said. "Inside you both can't look each other in the eye for too long. So tell me, what's up with you two?"

"You're just thinking too much, Amy. Nothing happened between the two of us." Samuel extended his hand cupped onto Amy's two soft shoulders. "We'd better get back to Sophie, she needs more of your attention than this nondescript question."

Closing Samuel's hand intending to pull him, Amy took a step back from her lover. "Don't switch the conversation, Sam. I've known you for a long time, I know there's something you're hiding from me."

Samuel had his hair restored, looking very frustrated to stop the conversation he was having with Amy.

"I don't know what you want to hear from me, but really Amy, there's nothing going on between the two of us."

"If nothing happened between the two of you, why did you act like that earlier? Sam, what exactly are you hiding from me?" Amy walked over clasping Samuel's wrist tightly. "Does this have anything to do with Sophie's accident?"

Flinched by the question, Samuel threw a glint of terrified eyes at him. With her hand out of Amy, she looked in all directions, as if she were looking for an escape.

Unfortunately, Amy did not find a single idea that made the two things can be related. Judging from the silence of Samuel, it must be something so secret that Amy must not know it.

Just about to corner Samuel with a series of questions that raged in his head, there was the sound of screams accompanied by the throwing of items that fell from his sister's room.

In a blink of an eye Amy immediately ran into her sister's room. What he saw was truly terrible. Various things were scattered on the floor. Even what made him even more horrified were broken glass scattered everywhere.

Not to mention his sister as well when it was trying to drag his body closer to reach something on the floor. That's when Amy realizes Sophie intends to take one of the glass shards on the floor and is about to stab it into her leg.

As fast as lightning snatched the broken glass from his sister's grasp and threw it as far as possible from the reach of his sister's hand. Angered by witnessing her sister's insanity, Amy shakes Sophie's body.

"What possessed you so much as to want to hurt yourself like that!" snapped Amy wrathful. "Did the accident take your mind off?"

"Take me off!" sophie's scream brushed Amy's hands off her shoulders.

Laying with both hands on the floor, Sophie glared angrily at him. "For what common sense would it be if I no longer had the ability to stand alone? I'd better just smash my deformed leg. My life no longer matters without my legs."

Feeling the pain of seeing the scarred radiance in the depths of her sister's eyes, Amy clasped Sophie into her arms. He desperately wanted to say something that would calm his beloved sister, but he was also confused about what to say now when not a single sentence could give hope to his sister.

Words of comfort seemed to evaporate from his lips. All he could do was hug Sophie so tightly while crying with her on the cold floor of the room.

"What should I do, Amy, what should I do? My life's ruined" wailed his sister, banging Amy's chest. "The accident took the only precious thing from me."

"No, Sophie, no" Amy shook her head. He looked at his sister with tears. "You still have a lot of precious things in you. So, stop being discouraged."

"But I've lost my dream since I was a child! You don't understand!" her sister shouted, pushing hard Amy from inside her arms. "I'd rather die than live like this."

Spreading her gaze, Sophie tried to hurt herself again by searching for the glass shards she could reach.

"Are you okay?" Samuel walked over to help Amy get up from her position on the floor as a result of her sister's push.

Samuel's worried voice that sounded as if it made the two of them realize that in the room it was not the two of them who were there. Even more shocking, Amy suddenly screamed hysterically as her eyes turned toward Samuel.

"Keluarrrr!"

"Sophie, Sophie, calm yourself!" pinta Amy tries to stop her sister's hysteria. "It was Samuel. It's okay, everything's fine."

"Amy, why is he still here?" ask her sister to panic. "Why do you let him still here, I don't want to see him. Get rid of him, Amy, please."

Although Amy was eager to ask Sophie why she overreacted when she saw the whereabouts of Samuel, their best friend and neighbor since childhood, but on the other hand Amy wanted to calm her sister first. Sophie and Samuel's mysterious problem could be posed next time.

Fortunately, as Amy led Samuel out of the room, doctors and swaggers began to arrive, then helped Sophie back into her bed. There was at least someone who would take care of his sister while he talked for a while with Samuel.

"Your hand is wounded" said Samuel, raising one of his hands which he had used to throw the broken glass taken by Sophie on the floor. "You should be more careful."

To be honest Amy was not too aware of the wound even she did not feel the slightest pain when she was holding the broken glass, her mind was too busy worrying about her brother's vulnerable mental condition. Only after Samuel showed the wound did he feel a stab of pain in his palm.

Pulling his hand out of Samuel's, he cupped his wounded hand with his other.

"My little wound is not important. You better go home, I can take care of Sophie alone."

"No," Samuel refused. "I can't leave you and Sophie in this state. I'll stay here with you."

"Don't be stubborn, Sam. You know for yourself how Sophie reacted when she saw you earlier. He's like an atrocity."

"She was just too shocked, so overreacted like that."

"You know that's not what happened" Amy replied in disbelief, her eyes glaring furiously at her lover. "I'm not stupid, Sam. I know this must have been something to do with your silence earlier when I asked about your awkward attitude and Sophie's earlier."

With a quick movement, Amy raised her hand stopping Samuel from dodging for the umpteenth time.

"I don't want to hear your nonsense anymore. Right now I just want to focus on Sophie. We can continue tomorrow when I'm calmer." Exhaling a long breath, Amy looked tiredly at Samuel. "There's been quite a lot going on today, Sam, I don't want to add to that by fighting with you. I hope tomorrow you'll give me the answer I want to hear. I'm not gonna let you dodge like you did today."

Finished delivering the stern warning, Amy went into her sister's room, before Samuel could say a word to reply. Leaning at the door, Amy looked up at the ceiling of the room, trying to restrain herself for the umpteenth time crying so desperately.

Oh, God, help her. Verily, he was afraid to hear Samuel's answer to what was going on between him and his brother. His premonition said it would destroy them all later on.

Amy could only hope it was just a silly feeling. Yeah, I hope so.
