I Will Marry You (I'll Marry You)

I Will Marry You (I'll Marry You)
Crazy Demand

Samuel was trying to understand what Amy had just told him. "What do you need me to do?"

"Sophie needs you to be with her" Amy replied briefly.

"Explain to me in more detail so that I can understand, Amy, you're confusing me" Sam frowned. "I really don't understand, doesn't Sophie want to see me, so how could she need me now. That doesn't make sense."

Clenching her hands together, Amy braced herself to say something, which would definitely raise objections from Samuel.

"As you know Sophie loves you. And the situation he is in now is very difficult for him to go through it alone. Sophie needs you by her side, Sam, she–"

"Wait, wait, wait" Samuel interrupted, stopping Amy from continuing. "It seems like I'm not going to like the direction of this conversation, my gut feeling is that you're going to ask for something that I won't like at all."

"Yes, what you're thinking right now is true" Amy said. "I'm asking you to tell Sophie that what you said on the day of her accident that day was just a lie. Tell him you said it out of fear…." Amy forced herself to say those horrible words from her throat. "Because you're afraid of losing her, if you love her too."

"Are you crazy!" samuel shouted loudly.

"Jeez, lower your tone of voice!" hiss Amy, peeking into Sophie's room, was afraid that her sister would listen to her conversation with Samuel at her doorstep.

Feeling safe Sophie remained sound asleep in her bed, Amy glared angrily at Samuel who was as angry as he was.

"What if Sophie listens to our conversation. What will he think."

"I don't care what Sophie will think, now it's you–"

With a quick movement Amy pulled Samuel's hand hard to get away from his sister's room door. If they wanted to discuss this without Sophie's knowledge, they better be as far away from her sister's bedroom as possible.

Arriving at the back garden of the hospital, Amy immediately released Samuel's hand from his grasp. At least here no one will bother the two of them.

"You're crazy Amy if you think I'm going to comply with this ridiculous request of yours. It's the same as asking me to accept your sister's feelings, which means you want me to be in a relationship with you both at once" Samuel recounted as Amy turned to face him. "That's crazy, Amy!"

"I didn't say that!" elak Amy hard. "I'll give you up for Sophie."

Grasping at the confession, Samuel gave him a look as if he did not know the woman who was currently standing facing him.

Stepping closer, Amy touched the soft arm of her lover. "Please, Sam, Sophie needs you now. You're the only one who can change his mind right now."

Brusquely squeezing Amy's hand from her arm, Samuel slowly stepped back from her.

"Does that mean you don't need me anymore?"

A laugh with a voice that did not have a humorous tone in it came out of Samuel's mouth.

"I'm not a toy, Amy, that you can just throw away after you don't need it anymore" said Samuel bitterly. "Is it so low that I am in your eyes that you easily throw me to your sister? Don't you love me anymore?"

"Of course I still love you!" reply Amy quickly. "But–"

"Then, it's settled. There's nothing to talk about anymore" Samuel said firmly. "You'd better just go home, right now all you need is enough rest. You haven't had enough rest after Sophie's accident. No need to worry about Sophie, I'll take care of her for you."

Stomping off Samuel's embrace of her, Amy keeps her distance from her lover in case Samuel can't reach her.

"I'm serious, Sam, with what I just said."

"I'm serious too, Amy," Samuel replied fiercely..

Aware that neither her anger nor her desperate pleas will get any results, Amy changes her tactics. Maybe he'll sound really mean, but this power is the last way he has it.

In fact he did not want to use this method, but seeing Samuel's stubbornness remaining firm in his stance, he was forced to do this.

Amy was desperate to help her sister. If this too failed, he did not know what else to use to persuade Samuel to do what he wanted.

"Sam, I know my request sounds crazy, but it's all I've ever thought about helping Sophie find her spirit again."

"That's you think. There must be some other way besides this if you ponder it carefully" Samuel grumbled softly.

Ignoring the grunts, Amy kept saying something that would hurt Samuel.

"As you said before, if you had gone after Sophie that day maybe this bad thing wouldn't have happened to her. You're still guilty of that, aren't you? So do this to atone for your guilt, if my request is too much for you."

Samuel really did not believe his hearing, he could not believe that the woman he loved so much had just said such a painful sentence to him casually.

Perched stiffly in place, Amy held herself back when she saw the look of the injured eye in Samuel's eyes as she looked at him with a heartache.

After recovering from the shock of Amy's cruel attitude towards her, Samuel slowly walked up to Amy until only one palm separated them.

"Alright," said Samuel gritting his teeth.

Amy was shocked by the words of Samuel who immediately granted her request without a fight. He really didn't expect it.

Now he has his wish, but why suddenly he finds it difficult to breathe. Even his heart felt squeezed inside his chest.

"But I will be with Sophie until she is healed, after that we will talk again about the continuation of the relationship between the two of us," continued Samuel, throwing a gaze not to be denied.

"Sam, you can't do that" exclaimed Amy disapprovingly.

"Yes, I can do it" Samuel replied stubbornly. "You can't get everything you want, Amy. You have to accept my offer."

"I didn't offer you anything!" amy's screams are frustrating.

Then the two of them faced each other fiercely, without them noticing someone walking closer to them.

"It looks like I've been bothering you guys" said someone behind Amy without the slightest innocent tone in her voice.

Turning around, Amy was shocked to find out who had interrupted her conversation with Samuel, who was still unfinished.

There in a relaxed standing posture with both hands in his pants pocket, Markus waved at him.

"Now I'm going to go see Sophie to do your selfish wish" Samuel whispered sharply in his ear. "You're here to serve your boss."

As fast as lightning Amy pulled Samuel's wrist as she passed by. "We're not done yet, Sam. We'll talk again."

"You haven't, but I have," replied Samuel sniffled, jerking off his hand.

Worried about going after Samuel who will meet Sophie or serve her superiors, Amy finally decides to serve Markus alone. At least that's what he had to do so that the suspicions of his superiors did not increase.

No one should know anything about Samuel, especially his boss.

"I think you'd rather go after him than be here with me" Markus said, turning his head to show the departure of Samuel, who had now come a long way. "I think you have something you need to work out between the two of you."

"There's nothing we have to finish. We were just arguing a little, but it will be forgotten by itself" elak Amy indifferently.

"Your words are inversely proportional to what you see on your face. You look like you just lost your heart."

Amy reflexively touched her face in panic. "Omong empty! I don't look like that. We are nothing more than little friends who have been neighbors for a long time."

"Ah, so, you guys are best friends, so are you."

"Don't look at me like that, Mark! I'm telling the truth."

"Who said you were lying?" asked Markus smiling wryly at him.

Ignoring the innuendo, Amy attempts to shift the conversation to something safer.

"By the way, why are you here? When you didn't see you all day, I thought you were busy with your work, so you canceled your intention to visit."

For a moment Mark looked at him thoughtfully, as if he were considering whether to continue their conversation about Amy and Samuel. Or following Amy's willingness to shift the conversation to something else Luckily, Markus chose the second.

"I was busy, so I was late. Then when I found out you weren't in your sister's room, I went around looking for you, now as you can see here I am," Markus said, slapping his shoulders. "And I have also heard the good news from Doctor Peter. Thank goodness everything went well."

"It's all thanks to you, Mark. If it wasn't for you, we might still be wallowing in despair" Sophie said gratefully. "You shouldn't have to force yourself here, I don't want Sophie's condition to interfere with your work."

"I'm not forcing myself, Amy, I'm here because a day of not seeing you at work makes the place feel empty" Markus said. "In addition, thank goodness I came here because otherwise I would have missed the exciting show you showed me with."

The emphasis on the word friend told Amy that her boss still did not believe in the slightest of what he said earlier.

"Connecting shortly before night, what if we find a place to have dinner together?" advice Markus. "Looking at your current sluggish condition, I'm sure you haven't eaten properly from yesterday."

Relieved at the diversion, Amy immediately agreed to the suggestion. After all, her boss was right, to be honest from yesterday Amy only ate a little.

Maybe that's what makes his head suddenly feel dizzy, plus his legs that begin to weaken to stand firm. It seemed like his energy had been drained away.

##

The sound of a door opening in her room, thinking it was Amy who had just returned from nowhere, Sophie just grumbled at her sister.

"Where have you been? Your boss was here looking for you" Sophie said, without even turning her face away from her phone.

"It's me" said someone who had just arrived.

Recognizing the voice as well as recognizing the voice of her family members, Sophie widened her eyes to look at Samuel with the horrors she was now feeling.

"Because-pa k-au a-da here?" tanyanya. "Where's Amy?"

Seeing the panic in Sophie's eyes that began to fidget on her bed trying to find a way to escape from her apprehensive state, Samuel walked over, afraid Sophie was hysterical like yesterday again.

"Calm down, Sophie. I didn't mean to scare you, I just wanted to talk to you for a minute."

"Fearful? You said I was scared?" sophie exclaimed, her hands clenched tightly beside her body. "I'm not afraid of you one bit! I'm ashamed, Sam, I'm ashamed of you. Because of my stupidity now I'm flawed. And it's all because I was rejected by you!"

"I'm sorry, Sophie, it's all my fault." Samuel lowered his head feeling very guilty. "I shouldn't have made you like this."

"I don't blame you, Sam. Never in my mind to blame you" said Sophie, touching Sam's arm to look back at him. "It's all because of my carelessness, Sam. I should have been watching the road that day right, but being too preoccupied with the heartbreak I felt I wasn't paying attention to the street properly."

"And since I was you weren't careful that day. It's all because of my selfishness."

"What do you mean?"

"To be honest…." Samuel deliberately did not look directly into Sophie's eyes, fearing that his lies would be very clear in his eyes. "I lied about what I told you that day. It was just my selfishness to keep you by my side."

"You mean you lied about how you felt about me?"

Upset Samuel still did not want to look him in the eye directly, Sophie jerked Samuel's hand firmly.

"Look at me, Sam," asked Sophie firmly.

Having no choice but to obey Sophie's wishes, Samuel forced himself to look directly into her eyes.

"If you deliberately tell this lie because you feel guilty about my current situation, I will never forgive you, Sam."

Sophie's grip immediately strengthened on her arm, her nails firmly stuck in her skin.

The fragility that appeared on Sophie's face made Samuel's guilt even greater. How he could not break the little hope that was seen at a glance in the eyes of his friend and his lover's sister.

"I'm not going to repeat the same mistake again, Sophie, I mean what I just said. What happened to you seemed to awaken me from my folly." That cruel lie slid easily from his lips. "I've loved you this whole time too. I don't want to lose you again."

The tears Sophie had been holding back from the moment she rushed down her cheeks, without holding back her pleasure any longer, Sophie pulled Samuel to hold her in her arms.

Samuel closed his eyes, hoping all this was a dream. The nightmare is coming to an end.
