Looking up at the dark night sky with the moonlight being the only one illuminating the darkness there, not a single twinkling star accompanied. It was a gloomy night, exactly as he felt now.
The silence of the night was broken by the sound of Luke's footsteps walking closer to him, his hands stretched out handing him a glass of champagne.
Exactly as it needs. He quickly swallowed the drink in one gulp.
"Slowly, my friend," said Luke, shaking his head at his behavior. "By the way you haven't thanked me, Mark."
"Thank you for what?"
"Well, well, you hurt me, Mark. How could you forget the kindness I've done for you?" Luke's clucking unhappy. "If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be here with your wife Amy."
"What are you actually talking about? What kindness–" Markus stopped his speech when something came to his mind. Squinting his eyes, he pouted at his best friend and brother-in-law. "If you mean the night you told Amy about me, then go to hell!"
"Geez, Mark, I'm helping you from ruining your marriage, not throwing you into a hellhole" Luke lamented.
"That's exactly what you do. You should have ignored me that night."
"And make me get scolded all the way by Helen? I won't!" luke said, scowling. "You know, she was so happy when she found out you decided to get married."
"Unfortunately I don't," he replied sourly.
"So, it would be very unpleasant for Helen if you destroyed your marriage in a matter of days" Luke continued, ignoring his grievances.
"More unpleasant for me."
"Why are you getting married?" ask Luke's pissed. "If it's like this, you shouldn't get married in a hurry."
"Eat it now I regret it," he murmured grimly.
Recollecting Amy's betrayal of him, he takes Luke's drink, and sticks the glass out as well.
He should not have been rash when he wanted to marry Amy. There were so many incongruities with Amy's attitude every time she brought up Samuel's little best friend.
From the way he always avoids it has been seen that actually Amy is covering something up to him. It's just that he was too infatuated with his scheming wife that he ignored his suspicion of the relationship between his wife and his little friend at that time.
This is all because he considers Amy different from the women in his life so far. He had misjudged it.
If only he had not been so fascinated with his wife it might have been this disastrous marriage would never have happened. There was basically nothing to blame for this tragedy other than his stupid heart and his blunt eyes.
"The story is long" he answered briefly to Luke's question, after a long silence.
"Night is long. Anyway Amy and Helen seem to be having a good chat in there." Luke shakes his head into his house. "So of course we can fill the time here while waiting for our wives to finish the conversation between the women between them."
"What are they talking about inside?" her question was alert, her eyes squeaking suspiciously towards her best friend's house.
Embracing his shoulder, Luke stopped himself from going inside.
"Nothing is important. It's just a woman's talk" said Luke, shaking his hand. "Stop worrying about your wife."
"It's not my wife I'm worried about, it's your wife" he grumbled.
And in the end, Mark tells Luke what really happened to him and Amy. It's possible that Luke could help her find a solution to this thorny problem in her married life, given that she's been living a married life for seven years.

Glancing at his watch, time already showed it was almost midnight. Markus did not think his visit to Helen's house would take that long.
But given his long chat with Luke, it's no wonder he's been spending this long.
On the way home was the same sunyinya as when they left earlier. But this time the atmosphere in the car was more stifling than before.
Perhaps this was due to their previous heated feud when they arrived at Helen's house a few hours ago. Judging from Amy's cold attitude that was closing her eyes next to him, she could feel if his wife was still angry with him.
Actually compared to his wife's cold attitude, there is something more disturbing to his mind, which is exactly what Amy and Helen had talked about earlier. More mysterious whispers they do when he and Luke return home.
At that time his wife's face was seen blushing due to whispers of what Helen whispered to him. Moreover, the hue is getting reddish when Amy's eyes accidentally meet her.
He was really curious what had caused his wife such a sweet hue. Does it have anything to do with him?
Although very curious he could not ask it directly to his wife. Because after they entered the car, the color of his wife's face was lost in the night wind, replaced by a flat face that was pretending to sleep beside her.
It seems that after now they are alone, the anger of his wife who had been harbored earlier now began to be expelled without being detained again. Despite his anger it was in a stifling silence.
Therefore, she was so shocked when they arrived home, Amy said something that really surprised her as she was changing clothes in her room.
"Are you going to sleep here tonight?"
"Of course not."
Amy bit her lips, hesitating to say something to her. His eyes seemed to tremble as he tried to stare directly at her.
"Didn't you want to consider it?"
"I told you I can't stand a room with you, Amy."
"That's not what I mean" Amy looked.
Mark raised his eyebrows, waiting impatiently for Amy to explain.
"Child," replied Amy quietly. Pounding, he finally began to say out loud. "Yes, kid. Don't you want to give Elena a beautiful cousin?"
Did he not hear wrong? His wife is asking for a child from him? It's beyond a doubt.
Just a few minutes ago, he was very cold to her. Then now she acted like a shy wife who asked for her husband's attention.
What is in the head of this cunning wife? What's he planning?
Despite the many questions that were raging in his head, his breathing was increasingly hunting as his eyes stared directly at his wife's eyes.
It is undeniable that his wife's request was very tempting. Both of her hands clenched firmly beside her body, holding herself to hold Amy in her arms right then and there.
