Still wearing the same clothes as last night, Markus came out of his room with a random appearance, all because of Amy who had done something that had made him ride black.
How not, when he woke up from his sleep he was very surprised when he looked at his watch, there showed the time was almost afternoon. How crazy! How could no one in this house take the initiative to wake her up.
But that was not the reason for screaming in his house like a madman with an alcoholic body, the presence of his cell phone that was nowhere that made him roam in his house looking for the whereabouts of his lying wife.
No one else would dare to pick up her phone other than Amy's annoying wife. How dare he take his cell phone without his permission.
"Where is your Miss, why isn't she anywhere?" mark snarled at the servants who were trembling with fear in the face of his wrath. "Take me, fuck you guys!"
A maid who looked very young the first time she saw suddenly cried hysterically as she walked over to him, she behaved as if Mark was about to hit her, instead of asking for a simple answer about the whereabouts of his wife.
"Stop that cry of your cry, stupid girl!" hardik Molly, a cook who has worked at his home for almost 40 years. "Mr Xander is asking you."
Instead of stopping her cries, the young maid grew even louder as she ran away towards the kitchen. Molly who saw his insolent behavior could only shake her head.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Xander, the girl just worked here for a while" Molly explained, her head bowed in embarrassment. "It's my fault, I should have taught the boy even harder so that he wouldn't be so rude to you, but given the hysterical nature of child–"
Mark shook his hand to stop the cook from complaining about the new servant even more, he now had no time to take care of the disciplinary matters of the servants in this house. What he wanted to hear now was where his wife was now.
"Just do what you think is good" said Mark indifferently. "Where's my wife, Molly? Is he out? I don't see it anywhere."
"I'm here, baby," Amy shouted from the back door.
"Fuck you, Amy, where's sa– from"
Markus immediately stopped his scolding when he saw his older sister Helen appear from behind Amy while waving her hands cheerfully.
A row of swear words immediately shot out of his mouth that made Molly's eyebrows rise to hear it. And before leaving his old cook boldly threw a mocking smile at him.
"What a very entertaining show on this very refreshing sunny day, my dear sister," Helen sneered at him. "It's been a long time since I've seen you go berserk like that. Turns out I've chosen the right time to come here."
"Why are you here? You should still be in your bed."
"Come on, Willy," Helen always called him by his godname to provoke his anger because she knew very well how much Mark hated his baptismal name. "Indeed you think I'm a weak woman so it takes a long time to recover."
"At least it will make your beloved husband happy" Markus replied, smiling mockingly.
"Don't talk about my possessive husband in front of me, he's really pissing me off" Helen grumbled. "I'm really fed up with his excess attitude. Though this isn't the first time I've given birth, but still she wants me to rest longer in that stifling room."
Contrary to his grunts, Markus caught the affectionate tone in his older sister's voice. Helen could not cover up how much she loved her husband.
If it wasn't for Luke, maybe now Helen would still be living the reckless life she used to be. It is truly magical that love can make such a big change in a person's life.
But in fact, he was very wrong. It is the destruction that approaches it. Then his eyes met a glance with Amy who looked at him with a very mysterious gaze as if something was being planned. A feeling of alertness just covered it.
"It's almost late in the afternoon, why don't you have dinner here, Helen," Amy suggested. "You can call your husband and children so they can have dinner here too."
"Geez!" helen exclaimed, her eyes widened as if remembering something she had forgotten. "Sorry, honey, my Billy must be looking for me right now. Talking to you has made me forget time."
Then Helen turned to face him with a waistline. "And you, Mark, you better clean yourself up, you look terrible. Tonight I invite you and Amy to dinner at my house."
Raising one hand, Helen stopped Mark from refusing her invitation.
"If you remember you haven't even looked at your new nephew once you've been here. So, tonight should come with Amy. I don't accept any excuses from you. Elena missed you so much anyway."
Saying farewell, Helen hurriedly rushed away, but before exiting the door she turned to face him, and shouted, "You must come, Willy, before leaving, otherwise I'll have Elena stay with you for a week."
What a frightening warning. Although Mark loved his nephew very much, he would not be able to stay with him for more than a day.
His head was about to break in the face of an endless barrage of questions coming out of that little mouth.
"I can't wait to see them."
Amy's words immediately awakened Markus from his daydream, his facial expression turned ferocious as he turned to face his wife.
With his hands outstretched, Mark urged, "Give me back my phone! What do you think you're doing by taking it from me?"
"So you sleep quietly, maybe," Amy replied. Groping into his pants pocket, he stomped his cell phone in his palm. "And by the way your brash secretary just came here, which of course I immediately kicked out disrespectfully."
"What gave you the right to do that to my secretary?" markus gritted his teeth. "He must want to discuss an important matter with me."
"Is your job more important than your own? Just so you know, every time the venomous woman opens her mouth she's always saying bad things to me" Amy lifted her chin, her eyes burning with anger. "Actually what have you told me about myself to your brash secretary until she was so disrespectful to me."
"There's nothing to tell, maybe he can see for himself how rotten you are."
After saying that sentence, Markus immediately regretted it. He shouldn't have said that to Amy, but his wife's accusations have fueled his emotions.
What he told Amy about to his secretary. He would never do something so stupid. And it seems he needs to talk to Madelyne about his brazen behavior towards his wife. He has no right to act so improperly on the wife of his superior.
Although regretful, Markus could not retract his words just now, so he deliberately ignored the injured look that was emanating in Amy's eyes.
"I hope you'll never do this again." He wiggled his cell phone in front of his wife's face. "Then I'll see you tonight."
