Chapters 10. Plague

Along the way to the Canis residential complex, Valko is made uncomfortable because of the pungent aroma of the waters in the forest. He stepped closer to the river that was the source of that unpleasant scent.

"The water is clear, but why does it smell like this, huh?" mumbling Valko.

The handsome man was crouching by the river. He dipped his fingers in the clear water, then tasted it. Valko frowned as he felt something was strange. The water, which usually tastes fresh and fresh, is now a little sour and bitter.

Without waiting any longer, Valko immediately moved from there to his house. He wanted to report his findings to his father. Not to forget he also filled an empty mineral bottle with river water, to show his father.

After arriving home, Valko immediately met the father who is now honing the ax. The man immediately thrust the water he had brought from the river to Alarick. The chief of the tribe frowned.

"What's this?" alarick asked as he grabbed the bottle filled with water.

Alarick immediately tasted the water. He tasted the taste of that colorless liquid thing, and looked frowned.

Valko finally rested his back on the head of the chair. He massaged his head slowly because he thought of the plague that was being experienced by the Canis people. The father said that most of them felt nausea and vomiting.

In the living room, Alarick, Berta, as well as the crying Andrea turned their heads towards him. Alarick got up from the chair and approached the son. He floated his hand into the air, then landed it right on Valko's cheek.

The heat is now felt by Valko. He was overwhelmed by the harsh treatment of his father. All this time, only now did Alarick slap him.

Valko's heart ached and shattered into pieces. The figure of the father who is usually firm and wise, now has the heart to judge him without cause. Valko looked at the father who now looked angry.

"You had an affair with a girl named Luna and dumped Andrea! What do you mean!"

"Well, I'm ...." Valko's speech was cut off as Alarick clutched the collar of the man's shirt.

"Ending your relationship with Luna! This village is starting to get cursed because of you!" Alarick stared intently at the son, and spoke with teeth clenched together.

Valko looked at Alarick full of anger. His jaw hardened, and his fingers clenched strongly. His breath was seen hunting due to the mounting anger. He did not expect the father to be easily instigated by Andrea's words.

"So, you believe more in their words than I do? I didn't expect Dad to turn out like this!" Valko looked at the woman who was sitting on the sofa pretending to cry.

"I'm leaving! Don't look for me!" Valko pulled the father's arm until he slipped out of the man's grip.

Valko stepped towards the door that was still open. However, when he reached the doorway, Alarick stopped him. He approached the son and looked back at him.

"Whenever you get out of this house, you'll regret it for life!" threaten Alarick.

"I don't care!"

"I won't help you escape that curse!"

"Just be wild! After all, I'm getting comfortable with this curse! Therefore, I have many advantages! I don't think this is a curse, but a gift that has been given to me!"

Valko stepped steadily out of the house. Along with the footsteps of the man, suddenly the sky suddenly clouded. Lightning struck mega, with lightning and his thunderous voice.

Valko paused for a moment, then looked at the sky above him. The rain started to fall on the earth. The smell of wet soil poured out into the air, and penetrated Valko's sense of smell.

"Is this some kind of curse to me?" Valko smiled wryly and then ran through the increasingly heavy rain.
