Unbeknownst to Maria, Alarick, Luna, and Valko, it turns out that there are other eyes that are watching their love united because of the blessing of the chieftain. It was Andrea.

The cunning woman clenched her fingers, then immediately ran back to the grandmother's house. He complained about everything he saw while shedding tears. Berta was furious to hear the story of his favorite grandson.

"Come, we'll go there!" bring Berta.

The two of them walked full of anger towards the treatment hall, where Luna and Valko were being treated. Without permission Berta and Andrea entered the medicine room, making everything in the room aghast.

"Alarick!" shouted Berta, then immediately approached the chieftain.

"What's wrong?" ask Alarick to relax.

"You don't remember the ancestral covenant that had to be made? You can give your blessing for their monkey love!" yelling Berta while pointing at Luna and also Valko who are still closed.

"We talked about everything outside. My son needs rest."

"No! Let him wake up!" Instead of leaving, Berta approached Valko.

The old woman shook Valko's body without the slightest pity. Be like someone who is in love. Maria and Alarick prevented her and dragged the old woman's body out of the treatment hall.

"I've appreciated you all this time! If it wasn't for an elder in this tribe, maybe you would have me kicked out right now!"

"Basically you, B*jerk! Do you not think about the fate of your people? Look, more and more people are dying from the plague!" yelled Berta with fiery eyes.

"Is that so? I'm not sure they're all dead because of the plague that came from the curse!" Alarick crossed his arms then smiled slanted.

"What do you mean?"

"A few days ago, Valko said that there was something strange about the river water being the main source of the waters of the Canis! He said it was likely that someone had poisoned the water!"

"Where's evidence? It was all just Valko's engineering to avoid marriage to Andrea!"

"Whatever you say. I don't care about the curse! Ah, about the ancestral covenant. I was surprised when you told me, Berta!" Alarick smiled obliquely then stared intently at the old woman.

"I was surprised, because I never heard of the marriage covenant you broke! After thinking for days .. I guess it's all just your shit!"

Berta looked angry. He stared intently at Alarick, then his jaw hardened. His fingers clenched strongly.

"You'll regret this! Come on, Andrea, we're home!" bring Berta.

The two evil women finally left the treatment hall. However, the evil intentions of the two did not subside just like that. Along the way, they spread rumors about the plague and Valko's rejection. He spread slander if the outbreak occurred, because Valko refused his match that had been determined by the ancestors.

Berta incited all citizens to come to Alarick's house and asked him to step down, because he was considered not a leader. Sure enough, not a few citizens believe. They all gathered at the village hall, preparing to protest to Alarick.

On the other hand, the conscious Valko was taken home. Valko recounted everything he experienced while in the dungeon. Alarick grew angry after hearing everything Valko had told him.

"I should have punished Theo with a heavier sentence. I don't think 10 years of confinement is enough" Alarick said.

"Let's just be it, Dad. I'm allowed to be in love with Luna alone, already feeling very lucky." Valko grasping the lover's fingers is getting stronger, as his love for Luna is also getting stronger.

"Well, what do you want next?"

"I want to continue my studies first, sir," explained Luna.

"Good, let Valko stay in town to always take care of you. But ...." Valko's words were stifled because he heard a scream from outside the house.

"What's this?" alarick asked in his baritone voice.

"Descend from the chieftain's post!" shouted one citizen.

"Did I make a mistake with you? Am I being unfair? Or am I being indifferent when you're in trouble? So you're asking me to step down from the chieftain's post?" cecar Alarick's.

"Because of your foolish son, many of the citizens of Canis died because of the plague! The plague was a curse caused by Valko!" shouted another citizen.

"Which stupid son do you mean?" Valko walked slowly with the help of Luna and Maria.

"You guys were fooled by Grandma Berta! He was the mastermind behind the plague that hit this place!" yell again.

"Don't just accuse you!" yelled Berta who now emerged from behind the crowd with Andrea.

Valko finally reached into his pocket, and showed him the footage he took some time ago while investigating the waters of the East Forest river La Eterno. It was clear how Berta poured a bottle of liquid into the river. When she finished, the old woman opened the hood of her coat and laughed out loud.

"That's not me!" yelled Berta, still trying to deny.

"Everybody here must have good eyesight, right?" Valko raised one eyebrow.

All the residents who came to Alarick's house looked at each other and all took one step back in unison. Berta and Andrea started to look panicked. Now they are struggling and trying to ask Alarick for forgiveness.

"Please forgive us, sir."

"Yes, please give us one more chance to improve," Andrea cupped both palms, hoping for a pardon from Alarick.

"I will leave everything to the Canis people. O my beloved citizens. Will you forgive Berta for spreading the plague in our village?"

"He must be paid with his life, sir!" a man who protested for the first time.

"Rubber!" sahut other citizens simultaneously.

"Then, what punishment do you want to do for Berta?"

"Burn him alive!" The entire community called for the horrific punishment.

Berta seemed to lose his footing. He was sitting limp on the ground. Tears are now pouring down his face. His courage some time ago seemed to evaporate into the air, not remaining in the slightest.

"Mr, Grandma!" Andrea shook the body of the grandmother, so that the woman would rise again.

Andrea finally stood up straight. He stared intently at everyone who was in that place. His gaze ended on Alarick.

"Sir, where's your mercy? Are you going to let my grandmother be completely burned by the citizens?" ask Andrea in frustration.

"Then, where is Berta's mercy when spilling poison to spread the plague of disease in this village? He's killed a lot of lives! He did all this for his personal sake!" furious Alarick.

"Give them to you! For Andrea, I will also punish you for being involved in the crimes your grandmother committed!" Alarick pointed at Andrea's face with his index finger.

"You will be exiled for life in the eastern end of the forbidden forest!"

The entire population cheered in satisfaction with the policies taken by Alarick. They directly dragged Berta's body and brought her to the square. Luna could only be speechless seeing the incident that day.

In that instant, he realized that his uncle's words were not wrong. The Canis are one of the most violent tribes on the mainland of the continent. But it all happens because there is a reason.
