Chapter 32. Permission to Cross

"You think we'll approve? Swap Luna with two catnip sacks? Don't mock!" Catz's jaw is hardened.

"Then, what do you want?"

"Luna can keep us away from that fucking opium for life. So, what do you think we want?" Catz pulled one eyebrow up while smiling sideways.

Alarick let out a coarse breath and said, "Alright, we will send Smilodon a lifetime supply of catnip here. Until the third generation after you. How's it?"

Catz reached out with a slanted smile. Alarick welcomed him. Eventually they made the deal so that Luna would be free and they could continue on.

"Azura, are you coming with us or what?" Luna approached Azura who was still sitting in a doldrums while holding her father.

"I want to go home, and take care of my father's body immediately. Can you help me to continue my journey? Take my car, and make sure you're okay until you get home." Azura wiped away the tears as she looked at Luna expectantly.

"Alright then, we'll just continue on our way."

Luna looked at Valko and the man nodded. Both of them walked towards the car. In the car, Clavio was asleep. Valko smiled wryly to find the reality in front of him.

"Truly like a baby! I'm so upset, yeah!" Valko stared at the cynical Clavio who was now curled up while hugging his beloved teddy bear.

He thought Clavio was really a burden to them. Just smile and clap weightlessly as others bet their lives. Adult male, but has a toddler soul so that makes Valko feel very upset.

"Here you go, let's continue the journey! Look the sky is getting dark. We have to come back here in the morning!" take Luna.

Valko was immediately hit by gas, again splitting the Gato forest. An hour later, they made it out of the forest. The road to Arcois Hill is smooth.

Luna decided to open the car glass slightly, so that there was outside air coming in. Now the area with a variety of colorful flower fields is also visible. From a distance, the hill looks a lot like a rainbow.

Various colors of rose moss, tulip, lavender, blanket flower, and baby blue eyes fill the hill in groups. They are planted and grouped according to color. The smell of the wind carried away and arrived at Luna's sense of smell.

"Scent," muttered Luna, closing her eyes.

Valko decided to park the car in the valley of the hill. He wanted to invite Luna to climb the hill while enjoying the beauty of the place together. The man wanted to spend a lot of time with Luna, after this hard day.

Valko opened the car door for Luna, then took her by the hand, and linked her fingers with her lover's wig. The two walked along the path made between the flower beds.

"Today feels so heavy, doesn't it?" valko asked as he stared at the vast expanse of flower fields before him.

"Yes, it's heavy. I guess after this, we'll just find happiness." Luna smiled gently.

The girl's tanned curly hair moved due to being blown away by the wind. Valko looked at him lovingly. Luna's charm has taken away all the love she has.

The second step stopped after arriving at the expanse of baby blue eyes. Flowers with blue petals look very beautiful under the moonlight.

"Beautiful," muttered Luna.

The girl did not stop praising the beauty of the flowers in the field. Until she did not realize, that she was much more beautiful than the hundreds of thousands of flower stalks that were there.

"You're much prettier." Valko stared softly at Luna who was still busy admiring the stretch of blue flowers.

Luna removed her hand link from Valko's fingers, then approached the bunch of flowers. Flower baby blue eyes, the height of the stem only reaches 15 to 30 cm only. The beautiful flower consists of five cup-shaped petals, and usually there are stripes and blood vessel-like spots on the surface of the leaves.

Luna picked one stalk of the flower. Then inhale it deeply, a soothing aroma was emanating from the beautiful plant. The fragrant flower of baby blue eyes managed to calm Luna's heart, and make her forget the sad events of today.

"Who are you?"

"Val, did you hear it"

"That's, in front of you!"

"Where?" Luna looked straight ahead, but she only saw a huge expanse of flowers.

"Not there, you're looking too far! Look at that, on the petals you picked!" Valko pointed to the flower that was now in Luna's grasp.

Luna immediately focused her gaze on the branch of baby blue eyes that she held. The girl began to squint, trying to find a figure that had sounded so chatty.

"Hey, I'm here!"

Luna now managed to see a small, glowing figure that was criss-crossing above the petals of the flower. The creature looks very small the size of a firefly. The sound coming out of her lips looked like the buzzing of a bee in Luna's ear.

"Frogs? Can talk? Can it be this hot?" Luna's eyes were perfectly rounded.

The little creature suddenly flew. Within seconds, her super-small body was enveloped by a light blue-colored light. Shortly after, the small figure changed in size.

She turned into a size of an adult woman. The fairy has a beautiful face. Her dress dangled to the ground with a high hemisphere, to show her white legs. It also has a pair of transparent wings with flashing flickers.

"Elfs?" Luna nodded while covering her gaping mouth.

"Who are you?" The beautiful fairy voice sounded melodious like a ninabobo song sung by mothers for their children, shady and soothing.

"I'm Luna, and she's Valko. Wow, I just saw an elf this time! It feels like a dream!" Luna's eyes were still perfectly rounded, repeatedly patting her cheeks to make sure that what she saw was real.

"I'm Daphne, the fairy who guards the flower fields here! Luna, you've made a mistake!" Daphne squinted her eyes looking dislike.

"Sorry, what am I wrong?" Luna's shoulders slumped, as did the two ends of her eyebrows.

"You picked the flower without permission!" Daphe pointed to the flower stalk that was now within Luna's grasp.

Luna's eyes also looked at a branch of baby blue eyes that now began to wither. His gaze shifted again to Daphne who was now folding her arms in front of her chest.

"I'm .. I'm sorry. I was too fascinated to want to have it for myself" luna regretted with her head bowed deeply.

There was a sigh of a creature with pointed earlobes. Luna raised her head slowly, and looked sadly at the beautiful elf before her.

"Alright, for you write with your words. I'll forgive you." Daphne took a position as if to return to her original size.

"Wait Daphne!" prevent Luna.

Daphne stopped his movement. He now looked back at Luna while frowning. "What's wrong?"

"May I ask for a few more stalks to help a friend?"

The look on Daphne's face that had turned calm, now the beautiful fairy had again put on a dislike expression. He folded his arms in front of his chest while sharpening his gaze towards Luna. On the other hand, Valko who had clenched his hands since seeing the figure of the annoying fairy, chose to remain silent.
