Chapters 16. Deception

Luna bowed lethargicly, staring at the end of her worn-out shoes. Guilt filled his heart. He felt like a useless grandson because he could not help his grandmother.

"I met a good man today. He's willing to finance the mother's treatment."

"really?" Luna immediately looked at the uncle with a sparkling look.
