Chapter 45. Dream Cover

Valko's eyes were tightly closed. His breathing stopped, and the man's body slowly cooled. Luna's tears rolled down her cheeks. His chest felt so tight to see the lover was no longer alive.

"Val, don't joke! Wake up! This is not funny!" shouted Luna hysterically.

Micky and Micko see something strange. After they pay close attention to Valko's body, it turns out that the man is not the lover of Luna. Micko approached Luna then whispered something.

"Sister, do not let your tears drip soaking the wound or part of his chest. He can live again."

"Micko, what do you mean?"

"He's Uncle Catz, brother! Focus your gaze well."

Luna followed the instructions given by Micko. He focused the energy he had on the eyes. The girl strengthened her heart to see the real figure of the person on her lap.

Shortly after, Luna was shocked. He immediately got up from the floor and moved away from the body. Sure enough, the sturdy body does not belong to Valko, but the body of Catz who transformed into his lover.

"W-how can it be?" Luna stepped back, the girl's eyes widened, and her mouth opened wide.

"Sister, don't you realize it? Even the smell of his body was different. Uncle Catz is really sneaky!" Micky approached Luna and grabbed her fingers.

"I-I really didn't know that he was Uncle Catz. Then, where is Valko now?"

"We'll wait a minute. Let me call the other citizens to properly bury Uncle Catz." Micko ran out of the house to visit the houses, and asked for their help to bury Catz's body.

While Micky accompanies Luna and persuades the girl to stay calm. Micky also convinces Luna that Valko must be fine.

Soon the residents arrived, and took Catz's body to the local cemetery. Luna's heart still could not calm down because until now, she had not seen Valko approaching her.

"I have to find Valko!" Luna wiped away the tears, then stepped out of the house.

He couldn't just wait. Micky and Micky decide to accompany Luna in search of Valko. The sky is completely dark. The Gato Forest was beginning to feel empty.

Only the sound of friction of the night insect wings made the atmosphere of the place not too quiet. Luna and the two twin boys walked down the path to the forest where Valko and Catz had left the housing.

"Look over there, brother!" Micko pointed towards the inner forest.

Luna immediately ran because she caught the figure of Valko who was leaning on the trunk of an oak tree. As soon as he arrived in front of the man, Luna's tears broke again. He immediately sat down languidly while shaking Valko's arm.

"Val, wake! Stupidhead! Get up, or I'll hit you in the head!" luna exclaimed in the middle of sobs.

Valko still hasn't responded. The man's leg was bleeding a lot and looked slightly swollen. He probably has a broken bone.

"Val, wake!" This time Luna patted the lover's cheek softly.

Sure enough, his last attempt came to fruition. Valko began to squirm and his consciousness slowly returned. The man grimaced with the pain, and tried to sit up straight.

"Val, are you conscious? Can stand?"

Valko opened his eyes, and looked at the lover. She smiled gently then stroked the pretty face of Luna.

"I thought I was dead."

"Hey, you're not dead yet, you idiot! Come on, come with me! Can you stand up, right?"

Valko. He started to stand up with Luna's help. However, Valko's legs were not strong enough to support his current weight.

"Why indeed?"

"Didn't my brother know? Arthemis tears are one of the most powerful medicines in the world! It is even said to be believed to be able to revive people who have died."

"really?" Luna still could not believe the boy before her.

However, Luna thought for a moment, and recalled Micko's words some time ago. He was forbidden to shed tears on Catz's chest probably because of this as well. Luna finally tried to shed as many tears as she could.

Every tear that flows, Luna accommodates in the palm of the hand. Once full, the girl poured the tears over Valko's legs that looked swollen. Miraculously, Valko's legs were shrouded in golden rays.

The light bandaged Valko's wounds like bandages. Within seconds, the light disappeared. Valko felt his legs were much better. No more pain there.

"My legs are healed!" valko exclaimed as he moved his legs slowly.

The excruciating aches and pains he had felt earlier, had now disappeared instantly. The man slowly rose from the ground. Luna helped him a little, propping up the man's sturdy guard.

Sure enough, now Valko can stand upright without pain in his legs. He could even jump high while constantly shouting. Luna shook her head to see the behavior of the lover.

"Ah, Micko, by the way why do you know that my tears can be used to heal someone?"

"Ah, that's .. we both knew when my father and mother were ordered to kidnap you, sister" Micky said.

"Well, you should be lucky to have me, Val! I'm a rare woman!" luna exclaimed arrogantly while raising her chin and folding her arms in front of her chest.

"So, do I need to put you in a glass aquarium and take you to a museum?"

"Yes, not so is the concept, Ferguso!" luna was upset.

They all laughed too. Micky and Micko ask Luna and Valko to stay the night. The day ended in peace.

On the same night, another dream that made Luna worried came back. This time he was both worried and sad. When all the ingredients that would be used for the ritual were almost gathered, a sad fact had to be ready for him to accept afterwards.

"We go home first, huh? Don't be naughty when you're with Kak Zura! Promise me to be a good boy!" luna's message when saying goodbye to Micko and Micky.

The two twin boys nodded. Luna and Valko finally return to the forest La Eterno. Along the way, Luna was pensive.

The girl wanted to tell me everything she dreamed of last night, but hesitated. Finally he chose silence while staring at the trees lined up neatly on the edge of the streets of Flor city.

"Why you?" valko asked when he kissed the lover's strange gurgle.

Luna simply answered Valko's question by shaking her head. Luna's attitude further confused Valko. The man also stepped on the brake pedal, then turned the body to face with Luna.

"Why are you, huh?" Valko gently rubbed the lover's smooth cheeks.

Luna seemed to be thinking, looking for words to answer Valko's question. However, he did not find it. Eventually, Luna decides to keep the harsh reality that will come her way.

The girl took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. Luna pulled the corner of her lips upwards, until a forced smile was created.
