Chapters 13. Permission

"Deliver! I can walk on my own!" Luna revolted, then walked towards the gate of the Canis housing complex.

Instead of going straight home, Luna actually sat in front of the gate with a jacket that she originally wore. Luna plans to protest against Alarick. He wanted to show the power of love he had for his future father-in-law.

The day changed, did not feel Luna's body began to feel weak. He had not drank a mouthful of water or a single piece of food at all since he got there. Luna bowed lethargic. Shoulder slumped.

"Well, there's a beggar here!" ejek Andrea who just came out of the housing complex.

Luna chose silence. He wanted to store up the tortured energy. The girl did not want her strength to be even more drained if she responded to Andrea's spicy mouth.

"Hey! Are you mute now? Where is your God-level arrogance? Where's your arrogant attitude going?"

Andrea kept trying to light a fire in Luna's heart. But his efforts did not produce results. Luna remained unmoved and did not utter a word.

"Basic j*lang!" yates shouted while kicking Luna's body.

Luna finally fell on the floor. His power just evaporated. Now it is helpless. To just open his eyes he can't.

Theo, who had been with Andrea, immediately pulled the girl's arm and took her away. Andrea walked away, following the man's footsteps.

The sky turned dark as Andrea and Theo left. The girl's tears began to pour mixed with drops of rain water that fell slowly . The point of rain water is now turned into a flow of water that is so heavy that it hit the loose land of La Eterno Forest.

"Does it have to suffer like this just to be with you, Val? If it is after this I can be with you .... I'm willing to." Luna closed her eyes after three days of not moving to dreamland.

At Alarick's residence, a gatekeeper on duty named David came to the chief. He reported that Luna had fainted, and was being taken to Maria's medical center.

"We took him to the Physician Mary, because Berta would not handle it, sir."

"Maybe he's still busy taking care of other residents affected by the outbreak. I'll follow him there."

Alarick rushed to Maria's medical hall. He immediately saw the condition of Luna who was now lying limp on the bed. Maria approaches Alarick and explains Luna's current condition.

"He's dehydrated, sir. Malnutrition, also severe depression. He's been delirious many times."

"What kind of delirious?"

"Valko, Valko, where are you? I love you so much! Come back!" Maria imitates Luna's delusions while making gestures to dramatize the atmosphere.

"Based on a stupid girl! I told you to go home, but reckless like this! Am I just going to bless him?" Alarick squinted.

Maria cleared her throat a few times, then smiled amusedly. "Master, did you forget? You and Sister Janeta used to be this baby! One does not eat, the other goes on hunger strike because it is forbidden to marry."

Alarick. Maria's right. His sister-in-law reminded him again about the story of the struggle of love with the wife, to be approved by his father. Alarick let out a rough breath.

"Take care of him until he recovers."

"Good, Sir."

Alarick left the hall immediately. He was planning to visit Valko. The man had never seen the son since he was locked up in a dungeon.

Alarick circled the housing complex of the Canis tribe, and stopped at a cave in the forbidden forest part of the Eastern Forest. At the mouth of the cave there is a torch attached to the wall.

"Valkey!" alarick shouted while he was in front of the prison.

He was overwhelmed to find Valko's condition was unconscious. Samar was seen in the darkness, his son having many bruises. His face and body were filled with dried blood.

"What the fuck!" alarick is full of anger.

He immediately contacted Theo, so that the man who was given the responsibility to keep Valko came. Shortly after, Theo came up with a panicked face.

"Tu-Master! How can you ...."

Alarick's jaw hardens instantly. He raised a sharp look at the young man. Theo shuddered in horror, as only this time saw Alarick look so angry.

"I-I can explain everything, sir!" Theo kept on approaching Alarick. However, every time he stepped forward, Alarick would take a step back.

Shortly thereafter, Canis security officers arrived. They ambush Theo and take him to the village hall for trial, some of them help Alarick to bring Valko out of the prison.

An hour later ....

Alarick looked at the two people lying on the bed of the medicine hall. Valko and Luna both still closed their eyes. The man felt guilty for trying to separate him from the love who loved each other.

"They may be meant to be together, sir." Maria suddenly approached Alarick and brought him a cup of coffee.

"Eitherway. I feel bad to see them both end up like this." Alarick rubbed his rough face, and looked back at Luna and Valko in turn.

"It can still be repaired. You just have to give them your blessing, sir. With the blessing of the parents, then their love journey will be easier."

"I hope so. Is Luna also able to accept Valko's state? You know for yourself, right? If he gets a curse from an ancestor?"

"I already know everything, sir," said Luna weakly.

Maria and Alarick turned to Luna, who opened her eyes. He also tried to wake up. Maria immediately got up and helped Luna to sit leaning on the headboard.

"What do you feel? Want to eat or drink?" ask Mary softly.

"No, Ma. I just want to see Valko." Luna had not realized that she was now in a room with Valko.

"He's also here" Alarick said as he looked at Valko, who was still lying with his body wrapped in bandages.

Luna followed the direction of Alarick's eyes. How surprised he was, when he found Alarick had been thrown helplessly on the bed. Luna got up from the bed and tried to get down.

The girl limped closer to Valko. His tears poured out to see Valko's condition was very alarming. Luna grabbed Valko's fingers and kissed the back of her hand.

"Val, what's going on? Why did you become like this?"

"I'm sorry, I was wrong." Alarick bowed listlessly. The fingers are interlocked. The man's chest felt like it was being squeezed with a boulder as he recalled how he had asked Theo to watch over Valko and bring him home if he was desperate to meet Luna.

Alarick feels he is the most selfish father in the world. He rubbed his rough face, then looked again at the girl who was now in tears because he saw Valko's miserable condition.

"From today on, I'm blessing your relationship with Valko. I hope you guys have been happy all this time. Sorry for trying to separate you two. I'm so sorry."
