Luna And The Dire Wolf's

Luna And The Dire Wolf's
Chapter 39. Looking for Arthemis Necklace

"Val!" Luna called Valko who had looked dreamy.

This was the third time he had called out the name of the lover, but there was only a response. Valko blinked repeatedly then looked at Luna nervously.

"Are you okay?"

"Ah, yes."

"Let's go! I'm ready." Luna walked out first after saying goodbye to Diego.

Valko also said goodbye, then followed the lover out of the house. They walked along while continuing to exchange stories.

"Then how can we find that necklace in this vast forest?" Valko seemed to be thinking hard.

"Ah, I brought this!" Luna took out a small metal detector.

However, after dismantling, the tool becomes longer. Luna immediately pointed it at the ground she was peeling. To make sure that the device was working properly, Luna tested it by throwing a coin forward for five meters.

The girl began to detect the presence of the money with the metal detector. After being convinced that the tool was working well, Luna and Valko began to walk through the pine forest.

"How, Val? We just go straight into the Prohibition Forest, or do we want to search around here first?"

"How do you think? If I'm so sure that the necklace fell in the southern Forbidden Forest." Luna was still focusing on the sound of the tool she was holding.

"Okay, we're going straight there!"

The two rushed towards the Southern Prohibition Forest. Luna focused on the metal tracking device, while Valko was on alert for any approaching danger.

After walking for almost half a day inside the forest, the two decided to pause and rest. Luna brought out some water and some bread.

"Eat first, Val."

Valko grabbed the bread Luna gave her and started biting her bit by bit. The two ate in silence while thinking about the fastest way to find the necklace.

"God! I just remembered!" luna suddenly shouted.

The surprised Valko immediately coughed as it choked. Luna swiftly thrust out mineral water, then gently patted the lover's back.

"You slow down when you eat!" Luna still continued to pat Valko on the back while continuing to nag.

"It's you that bi-kin's shocked!" valko grunts in between coughs.

"Shocked why?"

Valko gulped down some more of his drinking water, then caught his breath. After that, he began to explain the meaning of his words.

"You were yelling. What do you remember shouting like that?"

"Ah, that ...." Luna chuckled while scratching her head.

"I just remembered that the necklace always shines brightly when it reflects the moonlight. So, we can find it easily when the moon starts to shine bright."

"God! Why didn't you tell me from earlier?" Valko patted his forehead while sighing.

"Sorry, Val. I forgot," said Luna, smiling broadly, revealing a row of white teeth.

"Then we wait until the dark turns to look for him?"

Luna nodded steadily with confidence. A second later Valko recalled Abraham's assignment. He asked Luna this.

"The job feels a little strange." Luna rubbed her chin while recalling the task given by the Professor.

"You mean?" Valko frowned and looked at Luna questioningly.

"Professor Abraham asked me to paint some objects."

"Anything?"

"Something shines, a rare plant, an offering table, and a smiling girl." Luna passed on one task at a time that Abraham had given her with her clasped fingers.

"Wait!" Valko was wide-eyed after hearing the explanation from the lover.

"When I heard the word shine, I was drawn to the light of the moon. Yeah, even though he doesn't really shine. The moon will reflect sunlight again?" Luna smiled wryly at the fact that she disliked the most.

"The moonlight is false, but thanks to it .. we can walk in the middle of the night without a flashlight or lantern" Valko said, staring at Luna in love.

Luna blushed in embarrassment, then threw away her gaze. The girl stared at the collection of pine trees that seemed to be lined up neatly watching the two men chatting.

"Luna," called Valko as she grabbed the lover's fingers and kissed him softly.

Luna looked back at Valko with the same look. Full of love and sincerity. His heart raced faster, making the girl's chest flutter irregularly.

"I love you so much."

"I love you so much too, Val." This time Luna took the initiative to bring the face closer to the lover.

The lips of the two are also united. Exchanging a feeling of love and tenderness. Unite all the love they have to refuel, so they can fight together again in their main goal. Made Valko a whole human being, and could live together forever.

The sky has become dark. The sun has changed with the moon. The cold wind blew on the top of the pine tree making it sway left and right. The sounds of insects and other night animals sound unpretentious creating a melody that spoils the sense of hearing.

Luna was still sleeping in Valko's arms. That day's journey left the hazel-eyed girl exhausted. He immediately fell asleep after finishing a few pieces of bread and also his favorite cold chocolate.

Valko's been awake since. Awake from the danger that might lurk them in the forbidden forest. Soon enough, Luna began to squirm and returned to the real world.

"Night, dear," said Valko with a big smile.

"Eh, night?" Luna immediately sat down and circulated her gaze around, and ended up staring at the handsome face of the lover who was smiling.

"Did I sleep so late that I didn't know the day had changed?"

"You think?" Valko.

"God! Then let's hurry up and continue the search! I think the next piece of the puzzle will open after the necklace is found!" luna said with complete confidence.

"Alright, come!"

Both of them again moved from the ground covered with leaves. They continued their journey, and went deeper into the forest. After walking for a kilometer, Luna caught something amazing.

The moonlight shone brightly and made a straight line to a place with its rays. Luna's eyes were perfectly rounded. He pointed to what he saw and told Valko.

"Val, look there!" exclaims Luna with the index finger that leads to the light source.

Valko followed Luna's fingers. He fell asleep after seeing the miracle. Luna half ran to find the object she thought was absorbing the moon's energy.

The girl was sure that the moonlight was shining on her necklace that had been lost. Luna's breath continued to hunt unpretentiously with the clattering of steps that stepped on the foliage.

"Luna!" call Valko.

Luna looked at it while continuing to run. He looked back at the light that was still shining brightly before him.

"Stop a minute!" valko's orders.

Luna had to stop her footsteps. He turned back, and looked at the lover questioningly.

"Why?"

"Leave all the luggage, and go up to my back. I'll carry you and run like the wind."

Luna complied with Valko's words. He put the backpack on the ground. After that, Valko crouched down, and Luna started to climb onto the lover's back.

After making sure Luna held on tight, Valko stood up. He took a plan to run. The man's gaze was now focused towards the light.

"Are you ready?" valko asked, and was answered with a nod by Luna.
