Chapter 31. End of Grief Testing

Valko stared at Dorito's corpse. He closed his best friend's eyes by rubbing them. Valko came out of the house feeling chaotic. He squeezed out the strong paper that was in his grasp.

"Dorito, I'll make sure you get out of here safely! I don't know why you're doing this. But, I will make sure that your sacrifice will not be in vain!"

Valko stepped foot into the car, and opened the door. Berto, Azura, and Luna looked panicked when they saw the lethargic and sad Valko.

"What's going on? We did it, didn't we?" ask Azura.

"Uncle, prepare. After this there will be a battle with those vile Smilodons. A war between clans is about to break out today."

"What do you mean?" Berto knitted both his eyebrows.

"I'll call Dad and ask for help. We're outnumbered against that fucking Smilodon right here!" Valko starts texting Alarick through his cell phone.

"Come, let's go now!" exclaim Valko.

The man's jaw is hard. His clenched fingers held back the furious turmoil that was pounding the heart. Valko wanted to know, the reason Dorito ended his life in that game.

After arriving at the next 10 kilometers point, Catz appeared with several other Smilodon nations. They lined up to form a posse, with Catz at the front of the line. This time Azura, Berto, Valko, and Luna went down. Clavio was asked to stay in the car for safety reasons.

They stepped together, then stopped right in front of Catz and the others. The eyes of the two sides were clashing with each other. Sharp, as if to skin each other's opponents.

"I was surprised, you guys turned out to be so smart that you could get away with all three previous games. But, let's see ...." Catz smiled obliquely, then advanced towards Valko.

The man, half a cat, now lives in a row with Valko. He brought his lips closer to Valko's ear and started whispering something.

"Are you all able to survive the real battle?" Catz held up his hand, which was holding a gun, and pulled the trigger.

There was the sound of the eruption of firearms that soared in the sky of Gato Forest. Catz returns to his ranks and prepares to attack Valko's entourage.

Likewise with the Valko troupe, they began to mount horses and choose the target they would hit. As soon as the Smilodon stepped forward, Valko's party came half-run.

They hit each other. Loud blows, dagger attacks, and the desing of bullets colored their fight. Somehow the Smilodons knew what weapons Valko and the others were carrying.

Luna could only dodge because she could not martial arts at all. The girl relied on her agility to dodge the attack. He jumped to and fro like a bekel ball bouncing on the floor.

"Luna, lookout!" valko shouted when he saw someone about to release his weapon at Luna.

Valko immediately kicked the man, until his body bounced and collided with an oak tree. The two now fight together. Luna becomes the bait, and Valko will attack anyone who wants to hurt her lover.

On the other hand, Azura was attacking his opponent with a pair of dagger blades in his grasp. He stabbed all who attacked with a single move. Victims also fell because Azura had put poison on the dagger.

"Felt! You sneaky people deserve it! I will exterminate your vile clans!" yelled Azura while continuing to stab her enemy.

Blood splashed onto the face of the beautiful girl. He kept jumping, running, and crashing at the enemies. The victims began to fall. The settlement of the Smilodon nation is now a battle arena between two clans of different types.

"Sy base! Goddamn shit! How can you attack the four of us by deploying all the Smilodon residents!" berto shouted while pointing a gun at Catz.

Catz now raised both hands because Berto managed to drop his opponent's firearm. Catz smiled cunningly. There seems to be another plan behind the attack.

"Look, this place is like a sea of blood! Let us pass as promised!"

The middle-aged man finally collapsed onto the ground. His gun was thrown and captured by Catz. The half-cat man stepped on Berto's head and pointed a gun at him.

"Say goodbye to the world!" catz then laughed out loud.

"Basic Fuck!" yell Berto.

Within seconds, I finally heard a gunshot. Catz shot Berto in the head, and the battle stopped. Azura, Valko, and Azura immediately turned to Berto who had been sprawled with a hollow head.

"Dad!" azura shouted and then ran towards Berto.

Luna and Valko immediately ran after Azura. Azura cried hysterically while holding her father's head that was covered in blood. The girl's tears were unstoppable. Her chest feels so tight.

Their struggle felt futile that second as well. Luna hugged Azura's body from behind, and tried to calm the girl down. Valko, furious, immediately approached Catz and showered the man with fists.

"Haha! This time your party is dead! It means there must be one person who becomes a hostage and stays here for a while!"

"Did not the Smilodon people die more? Basic Biadap! We should still be the winners" Valko landed his last shot on Catz's left jaw.

Two Smilodon men approached Luna and blocked the girl's arm. Luna continued to rebel trying to escape from the clutches of the two people's hands. Valko growling.

"Let go Luna!" valko shouted in a tone full of anger.

Valko stared at the two men who were holding Luna. However, the two people did not pry him. Valko immediately left Catz, and was about to run towards them.

However, the other two Smilodons held him back. Valko continued to shout in frustration. His strength had already been exhausted since it had fought dozens of attacking Smilodon.

"Let go Luna!"

Everyone who was in that place, now turned their heads towards the source of the voice. There Alarick and several Canis tribes have stood complete with a spear in each hand. Catz began to rise from the ground, then stared intently at Alarick.

"Great as well! Can penetrate our shields with your ancient portals!"

"Let go Luna and Valko. Instead, we will accompany you to play to your heart's content!" Alarick looked seriously at Catz.

"In addition, we've brought two catnip sacks from La Eterno forest!"

Two Canis people advanced forward and lowered two large sacks of catnip onto the ground. All the Smilodon that remained seemed to be hypnotized because of the scent of wild plants that can only be found in the Forest La Eterno.

"You think our nation is that easy?" Catz smiled as he folded his arms in front of his chest.

The leader of the Smilodons approached Alarick. He patted her shoulder while smiling sideways. The gazes of the two clashed against each other, trying to intimidate each other.
