Chapters 27. Uncle Catz and Smilodon

"What's wrong?" ask Luna curiously.

"One meter from here there's a trap. They set up a rope trap connected to a poisonous beehive!" valko exclaimed as he closed the car glass back.

"Geez!" azura exclaimed while covering her lips with both palms.

"Uncle, make sure the windshield is tightly closed!" Valko reminds Berto to close the windshield.

"On the count of three, please drive the car as fast as you can! The bees are numerous. However, they will only chase us for a hundred meters. After that they'll get exhausted, and go back to the nest."

"Good!" Berto grasped the steering wheel with complete confidence.

The gaze of Azura and Clavio's father, now focused on the street in front of him. Valko started counting down. When the count stopped at number one, Berto immediately stepped on the accelerator pedal until the car drove at a speed of 180 kilometers per hour.

Sure enough, in a matter of seconds, the car they were riding in hit a not so big rope. The rope was transparent, not so big, but it turned out to be so strong.

Shortly afterwards, there was the sound of objects falling onto a pile of dry leaves. Slowly I heard the buzzing of a very crowded bee. His voice collided with the roar of a car engine that was traveling very fast.

"You guys hold on!" Berto further increase the speed of the car.

After traveling 100 meters, they managed to escape the pursuit of the poisonous bees. Berto stopped his car for a while to catch his breath. Everyone in the car breathed a sigh of relief.

Valko tried to hold back his laughter desperately because he saw Clavio's strange-looking behavior in his eyes. However, Luna repeatedly pinched the man's thigh to swallow his laughter again.

"Valkey!" luna exclaimed in a soft voice, and her eyes were perfectly rounded.

"Ah, yes! Pardon me! Forgive me!" Valko grimaced in pain as he whined for mercy on the lover.

"Stop laughing!"

"Yes, ready, Mom!" Valko took a respectful position, and Luna let go of her deadly pinch.

Azura continued to persuade Clavio to shut up. However, all attempts failed. Finally, Luna intervened. He advanced to the front seat, and clasped Clavio's hand.

"Vio, listen to me. Dad was forced to do it because we were chased by so many bees!" Luna swept through the air above her with her palm, to give Clavio an idea of how many bees had been chasing them.

"Alright, but A-dad next time don't be, huh? Vio was afraid," said Clavio among sobs.

"Yes, I'm sorry, huh?" Berto turned to his son and stretched out a fist, and Clavio touched his father's fist with his knuckles.

"Uncle, let's continue the journey. Another hundred meters we'll enter Smilodon's settlement." Valko immediately asked Berto to return to driving after Clavio looked calmer.

After their car drove for a hundred meters, began to see several residential residents. The houses there are similar to the houses of Canis people in La Eterno Forest. A semi-permanent house made of wood and bricks.

The road that divides the settlement is made of white bricks, and can only be passed by a car. On the edge of the road there are several plants such as dandelion, Chamomile, and some other plants that are believed to be beneficial for cat health.

"Uncle Catz!" valko and Azura shouted together.

"Sorry, but .. his body shape is weird." Luna smiled amusedly at Catz who looked like Tom The Cat in a children's game.

"When they leave this region, they will turn into full human beings. Although it looks strange if it is in this region, but their strength is many times greater!" valko.

Valko reached out to Catz, but the half-cat man only glanced at his hand. Catz put his hands in his pants pocket while smiling sideways.

"How's your father doing?"

"He's fine, Uncle. Uncle, how are you? It seems like Uncle is living happily after having Canis and Guildayi split?" Valko squinted, his jaw hardened.

Catz chuckled, then took Valko along. The two also walked slowly into the Smilodon settlement area. Valko followed the man's steps, but kept an alert mode.

"Where are you going?"

"The Hill of Arcois, Uncle."

"For?"

"Want to take a few flower stalks to restore the soul of a lost young man."

"Here you are, do you want it?"

"I'm sorry, I can't. The flower must be picked from Arcoris Hill."

Berto stopped the move. He held his chest while smiling sideways. "I'm really hurt because of what you said!"

"Then, you must meet my challenge if you want to get out of here smoothly! When you go home, you will be free to pass through this area without obstacles again. How's it?"

"What should we do?"

Catz smiled meaningfully, then threw away a glance. A second later he looked back at Valko, and his smile vanished.

"You must ...."

Valko watched every sentence that came out of the man's lips. After understanding the rules of the Catz game, he nodded steadily. Catz reached out, and was greeted by Valko

"Okay, I agree!"
