"Mother, please don't joke. It's me, Luna .. your grandson!" Luna's voice rose because she did not accept the attitude of the grandmother.
"Luna who? Hurry up, go!" martha shouted with her index finger towards the middle of the forest.
Shortly afterwards there was a sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. A man with a mustache and a thick beard approached two women of that age. He is Diego, Luna's uncle.
"What's this about? The luna? Since when did you come home?" ask Diego with wide eyes.
"Grandma why, Uncle?" ask Luna confused.
"Let me explain. Come on, come on in."
The three of them entered the house. The smell of wood coming out of the walls and floors of the house greeted Luna's sense of smell. The three now sat in the living room with fire in a burning furnace.
"Why didn't you tell me you came home today?" ask Diego.
"I want to give you a surprise. But, it turns out ...." Luna looked sadly at the granny who was now throwing a sharp glare at her.
"Mom has dementia. I'd love to take him to town for intensive care. But, you know for yourself the state of our economy."
Luna's shoulders slumped. It is true what my uncle said. Luna could go to school because of the scholarship she got. In addition, the girl also works part-time to earn pocket money.
"Yes, I get it. I'll work even harder and bring grandma to town."
"Rest me, I'll take Mom to her room. It's late at night."
Luna nodded then smiled widely. He kept staring at the back of his grandmother and uncle until he disappeared behind the door. After that, Luna went into her room.
The next day, Luna woke up to a knock on the surface of the room door. The beautiful girl began to squirm and gather awareness. His mouth was wide open when yawned to remove the rest of drowsiness.
He slowly stepped down from the bed and walked towards the door. Open that doorknob. Now the grandmother stood before him with a big smile. Sontak Luna immediately rushed into the arms of the grandmother.
"Grandma!" exclaimed the beautiful girl while putting her face into Martha's embrace.
"Why don't you go see Grandma when you come! I miss you so much, Luna!"
Luna smiled wryly behind the grandmother's back. Dementia had completely erased Martha's memory, and made her memory appear drowned. Martha took off her embrace and then summed up the face of her beloved granddaughter.
"Quick face wash! Grandma has prepared your favorite Enchiladas!"
Hearing the name of the food, made Luna's saliva melt. He immediately imagined the savory cut of chicken wrapped in tortillas and doused in tomato sauce. The girl gulped repeatedly.
"Well, I haven't eaten enchiladas in a long time! Wait for me at the dinner table, Grandma!" Luna ran straight to the bathroom and washed her face.
After breakfast, Luna decided to leave the house with a sketchbook. He spent his free time painting the scenery around the grandmother's house.
The beautiful girl started to scratch the pencil onto the paper. Observe the bushy and tall pine trees in front of the eyes, then pour the two-capture visuals into the sketchbook.
"I'm a great painter!" exclaimed Luna while staring at the results of her pencil strokes with a smile.
When Luna was about to observe again the trees in front of her. A tall man stood up while holding a rifle to the top of a tree. The man was probably hunting squirrels.
Hordes of squirrels jump from one branch to another, making the trees sway irregularly. Piles of snow fell on the ground because of the insectivorous animals.
Luna was fascinated for a moment. The handsome man in front of him had a firm face line. Her straight hair was white and decomposed long and tied in half. Unknowingly, Luna's fingers moved and drew the figure of the man.
"What are you doing?" ask the man in a flat voice.
"I-I'm being ...."
Luna gulped roughly, feeling caught red-handed for drawing the man without permission. He immediately closed the sketchbook so as not to be discovered.
"What meda?" ask the man again.
"Who are you? I just saw you. As I recall this house was only inhabited by an old woman and a middle-aged man."
"Oh, I'm his grandson. It has not been home since the age of school, because it lives in the school dormitory. Grandma and uncle have been visiting me all this time."
"What's your name?"
"Luna, Luna Garcia." Luna reached out with a friendly smile.
However, the man only glanced at Luna's hand at a glance. Then looked at him again with a flat look. Luna frowned, and pulled back her hand.
"I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. I-I'll just go in, then." Luna smiled wryly, then got out of the chair.
"I'm Valko Martinez. Want to go into the woods?"
"Yes?"
"Would you come with me to hunt and go further into the forest?" Valko pointed towards the forest with his thumb.
Luna remained silent. He thought for a moment. Actually he was very interested in entering the forest on the south side, and immortalized the contents of the forest into his sketchbook. However, during this time Luna was forbidden to go there because there were still many wild animals that roamed.
"Byeah" replied Luna.
Valko smiled obliquely. He did not expect that the girl was so quick to agree to his invitation. "Then, come on!"
Luna walked directly behind Valko. He kept on opening up the conversation with the man. At first Valko only answered him with a word. However, over time the man was carried away by the atmosphere created by Luna. Familiarity is now starting to be created between the two.
"Where do you live?"
"I live in the eastern forest."
"Your job?"
"I? A hunter?"
"How old are you?"
Hearing Valko's last question made his steps stop. He stared intently at Luna with narrowed eyes. Valko doesn't like to get that question from Luna.
"Are you an undercover census officer?"
"Yes?" Both of Luna's eyebrows rose.
"That's a little chatty, wanting to know all about me. If you know everything, then you'll regret knowing me." Valko approaches Luna trying to intimidate the girl.
"Ah, ma'am - that's not what I meant. I'm afraid to speak disrespectfully if I don't know your age." Luna smiled awkwardly and her legs continued to step back.
Valko continued to step forward, and continued to intimidate Luna with her slanted gaze and smile. The light brown-eyed girl's guts shrieked. He kept stepping back to keep his distance with Valko. Until finally Luna's back was attached to the big Oak tree behind her.
"Do I need to shut that lip of yours so as not to fuss?" Valko restrained Luna between her two sturdy arms, and brought her face closer to the face of the beautiful girl.
Valko's breath instantly swept across the white surface of Luna's skin. The girl gulped roughly as she looked into Valko's blue eyes. It was like seeing the perfect miracle of God. Valko's good looks successfully make his heart beat faster.
Unknowingly the girl closed her eyes as Valko suddenly closed her lips. A second later, he was wide-eyed due to the whisper of the handsome man.
"Your lips are chatty, so that makes my hunted animals run away all," whispered Valko then distanced his body from Luna.
"Come, we're home! Look at the sky has turned dark!"
Eventually the two of them returned down the forest path and returned home. Valko drove Luna home, before she returned home. When he arrived at the residence of Luna's grandmother, the uncle stared intently at the two lovebirds who had just come out of the grove of pine trees.
"Where are you guys from?" ask Diego firmly.
