Chapter 11 Iris Invitation

This is where I am at the Skyrise residence. Iris repeatedly sent me letters to come to her residence. I tried to ignore it but the letter was getting longer and more. He does not give up easily. In the end, I was the one who gave up.

Iris was waiting for me in front of the residence. "Welcome, Sister Diana."

I nodded after getting off the horse carriage. He immediately took me to tour the Skyrise residence. He should have done this the first time we met. The reason Iris didn't do it she forgot. In the letter he sent me written his intention to take me around the Skyrise residence. 

The Skyrise residential building is more luxurious than my residence but the furniture is simple. It seems they saved money on her mother's treatment. Iris's dress was also simple, she did not wear fancy dresses during everyday. The most luxurious dress I've ever seen was at my family's title party yesterday.

Iris explained one room at a time in the Skyrise residence. The dining room, the living room, his bedroom, Keith's bedroom, his mother's bedroom, Keith's study, the garden where we talked, the practice room, the experiment room. The practice room was the place Keith and his father used to practice magic.

The experiment room was where Iris spent time in her residence to make magic potions. So the potion he drank yesterday to overcome his drunkenness was his own making.

There are three types of witches in this kingdom. First the Combat Witch, this witch used magical powers to create fire, ice, wind, lightning and so on to fight, examples of which were me, Trevor, Keith and Derek. 

Both Witch Potions, witches who created potions with the ingredients he collected. The herbs they create various uses, such as healing wounds, curing diseases, making people sick stomach, making people poisoned and many more, for example Iris. It seems Iris was the one who was experimenting to find the right herbs to cure her mother. 

The Three Witches of Animals and Nature, witches who can communicate with animals and plants and use both to attack. They should get ready to bring their pet animals and plants to fight with other witches. For example, I don't know yet. Animal and Nature Witches are rare.

Iris asked me to speak in her experiment room. 

"This is what my experimental room looks like, Sister Diana," Iris said as she spread her gaze around the room.

"Good too, I actually just saw the experimental room for the first time. The Witch of the Moonlight family is only the Witch of the Fight," I replied.

"I can explain the usefulness of all the tools here to Sister Diana if you want." Iris's eyes twinkled.

He seems to want to talk at length. I don't know why I even like it.

I'm nodding. Iris started explaining one by one. On the east side of the room were experimental tubes lined up. Then, next to it were materials for conducting experiments. The bookcase containing books on the names and efficacy of the experimental materials was located to the north of the room. On the west side lies a table and chairs for relaxing, where we sit.

I ate the snack served by Iris while hearing it intently. When he finished, he changed the subject. 

"When Diana's party looks so beautiful" Iris praised.

Just like Keith said. 

"Sister Diana and my sister look very compatible" Iris added.

"Keith asked us to wear the same color" I said.

"Not clothes, but you look romantic and harmonious." Iris held her cheeks with both hands while smiling cheerfully.

Good then, the other nobles must have thought the same. My acting and Keith succeeded.

"really? Thank you." Thank you." I returned his smile.

"Oh yeah, this is the first time I've seen the King ask a woman to dance. Do Your Majesty and Sister Diana know each other?" Iris blinked her eyes, curious.

"True, we were friends since childhood even though we had not met for two years" I said honestly.

That's Eric's nature. Outside he looks resolute to be feared by people, but in fact he is good especially to people he knows. I actually don't know anyone close to Eric other than myself.

"Then, is the person who invited Kak Diana to the third dance a suitor who was expelled by Sister Diana?" 

Iris' curiosity is completely out of control. However, it is not up to scraping personal or confidential information, so it does not matter.

"Right," I replied briefly.

"I didn't expect that person to still dare to invite Sister Diana to dance let alone in front of my Brother" Iris grumbled.

Iris started talking at length about herself. She hopes to meet a handsome and kind-hearted man, but her brother won't allow her. There was an invitation proposal addressed to him but Keith refused it. I know the reason Keith did it, not all men are nice. Keith must have found out their respective backgrounds and rejected them if they did not fit the criteria.

"By the way, where's Keith?" I switched the conversation.

I didn't see Keith at this residence. Is it possible in his room or in his study?

"My brother is training in the training room" Iris replied.

It seems Keith was training to learn complicated magic. I didn't want to bother him but I had to meet him to look familiar in front of Iris.

"I'll see him." I'm standing.

"I'll take you." Iris stood up too.

"No need I already know the place, Iris. I can go there alone" I replied.

Iris narrowed her eyes with a suspicious look. What did he suspect? Can't lovers meet each other? Or maybe he thinks the no-no?

"Alright, I'm so no friend talks."

So that's what he regrets. Keith who was too busy definitely did not have time to spend with his sister.

"I'll stop by again, even if I don't know when" I said.

"really? I'll wait for Sister Diana to come here again" he said excitedly.

I'm going to the Skyrise residence after Keith stops by my residence. Looks like I kept visiting his residence. 

I nodded slowly, then moved from there.

I walked into a room not far from there. The training room that was inside the residence, this actually cost a lot to repair it. It would be more advantageous if the training ground was outside the residence like mine. There is one advantage of closed practice rooms that is that the magic learned is unknown to others. Perhaps this was the consideration taken by the previous head of the Skyrise family.

I got to the front of the room. I knocked on the door and went inside. The room is messed up by magic marks. I don't think they fixed this room for a long time. I saw Keith with a blonde girl. Who her? I approached them. Keith noticed my presence waving.

"It turns out you're here, Diana."

The girl looked at me. Stalled steps. The girl's face was no stranger I've seen. A face I never forgot. The girl who made me realize that my love for Keith was clapping one hand.
