Contract Engagement Letter
The first party and the second party agree to be engaged on condition:
1. Be harmonious in front of others.
2. The first party will give some money to the second party as agreed.
3. The contractual terms of the first and second parties must help each other.
4. Either party may cancel the contract without the consent of the other party if there is a breach of the terms of the contract.
5. Contracts can be canceled if the first and second parties already have no advantage in the contract engagement.
^^^First party: Diana Moonlight TTD^^^
^^^Second party: Keith Skyrise^^^
Keith read the paper carefully while holding his chin. I knew Keith would approve. She used to be engaged to me for needing money to pay for her mother's treatment. Trevor must have given him some money. He left me because he didn't need any more medical money for his mother.
I wrote this contract letter so I could throw Keith away at any time. There's no way I'll be with her until marriage. In the future he can love me but not me who is disabled. I don't want to marry someone who only loves me physically.
Keith opened his voice while looking at the paper. "So then, you need a fiancee to keep you away from those suitors."
"True, after all I know you need a lot of money to treat your mother," I replied coldly.
"Where did you know my mom was sick?" Keith put down our contract letter while raising one of his eyebrows.
"I have a lot of informants" I said briefly.
I found out about it from Keith in his previous life. His mother is very ill. He and his brother were trying to raise money. Keith, who did not want his sister to marry another noble, sacrificed himself to be engaged to a disabled girl. That girl is me.
"So yes, we must also be harmonious." He points to the first point in the contract letter.
"When in front of people, especially at parties. I don't want to get caught if our relationship is pretending. If it's not harmonious those applicants will reapply me."
That's one of the reasons. The hidden reason was to make Keith subconsciously fall in love with me. I'll make him fall for the fakes.
"That's right. The third point is also beneficial to each other," he said, nodding.
"How much money do you want?" ask her.
"As per your ability. If it could be every month. I also know that you are in trouble because of the death of your father and your missing brother" he said gently with a concerned look.
Stop pretending to care about me. I know you really want a lot of money.
"Ten thousand pieces of gold every month how?" bargained.
His eyes immediately opened. What less? Should I add another hundred thousand?
"I didn't think the Moonlight family had that kind of money. Five thousand gold pieces is enough." Keith shook his hand. He shook his head. It seems like the amount I said was greater than what Trevor had offered in his previous life. But I don't know either. Trevor never told me this.
"Alright, five thousand pieces."
I opened my hand, using magic to trade things. The pen is flying towards us. I wrote down the amount in our contract letter. Then I put the pen on the table.
"May I add something to this letter?" ask Keith.
I reached out to let him say his offer. "Add what?"
"It's better that we also visit each other's homes once a week" he said.
"Add it," I said briefly.
I put pen and paper on him. He wrote the idea down to the sixth point. When he finished, he put down the pen.
"Is there any more?" my many.
His index finger was raised to head height. "Oh yeah, we should know each other's circumstances. It's impossible if one of us is sick we don't know it, right?" He shakes his index finger.
I put my hand on him. "All right, just add it."
Turns out he's smart, too. He was able to figure out the shortcomings of this contract letter. Of course, she had experience in dating.
He wrote the seventh point. Then show it to me. I checked, if he wrote anything else. What he wrote according to his words.
"Is there anything you want to add?" It seems like there is a lot on his mind.
"I don't think there is." He shook his head.
Allegedly wrong.
"On the fourth and fifth points, do you agree?"
Both of these points have not been discussed since. These two points are the most important part of my plan.
"I agree. The fourth point to be on guard when one party betrays the other party. In other words, as a guarantee of trust. Then the fifth point because this engagement is a mere contract is definitely going to end," he explained.
That's when I'm gonna throw you out.
"It seems we have agreed. Then sign our contract engagement letter." I put down our contract letter with a smile.
Keith grabbed the pen. He signed the letter, but stopped. He looked me in the eye. "Before that, I wanted to ask why you chose me among the other suitors?"
Because I want to make you suffer. Then, you can actually be trusted. You never did violence to me or said I was disabled. You always help me even if it's just a fake. Then tired of pretending, you left me.
"You're lucky, I picked random and your name was chosen" I lied.
"Alright, I'll try my best" he replied excitedly.
Keith's views turned to our contract engagement letter, then signed it. With this we are engaged. He handed me an engagement letter. I grabbed it and kept it.
"Don't forget to call me when Mr. Rockyard comes again, Diana," she said with a smile.
"Just calm down, Keith. Even if you don't come I can throw him out myself" I replied.
I guess I should try to hold back my anger against him. If he is constantly being unfriendly, he might even stay away from me. My plan will fail.
He didn't realize my toughness. Grabbing my right hand, then kissing it.
"It's nice to be engaged to you, Diana."
Hold yourself Diana. Hold yourself, don't get angry.
"Until we meet, Keith." I tried to smile.
Keith returned my smile. He bowed politely and left. I drove him to my house. He's riding a horse-drawn carriage. I saw his back getting smaller. He turned around while waving his hands at me. I returned his hand reluctantly.
The horse-drawn carriage was getting further and further away. I see the blue sky. It seemed like it was a bright day like this. I'm sure because I looked out that window. The first time I met Keith.
