Chapter 49 POV Keith Repeating Time

I rushed towards the Moonlight residence. Diana, I'm gonna get you out of that heartless man's nest. However, as soon as I got to Trevor running around with limping legs. His face was battered. 

Diana must have kicked him out. Turns out I didn't have to do anything. I smiled and returned to my home. Diana will definitely become the head of the Moonlight family. He will receive many applications. I sent him a cover letter. If he refuses, I still approach him.

I can't believe my cover letter came. I'm so happy. He accepted me, I still have a chance. 

As soon as I got to her residence Derek came to disturb Diana. I immediately chased the person away, but he kept insisting until Diana managed to threaten him. Derek stepped out with a grumble.

It was like Diana's voice. Very mellifluous. I am grateful to hear it. Then we got engaged on contract. I don't intend to tell you that I'm repeating time like I am. He'll definitely stay away again. During this engagement I tried to make her fall in love with me, but she still kept her distance from me. His hatred for me has not gone away. 

When he dances or is alone with the King, the heart is not calm. The King's gaze upon him was not the gaze of a friend. King loves him. I'm not willing to let Diana be with anyone else. So as much as I can make Diana stay by my side. 

When my mother asked to speak to Diana alone, curiosity filled my heart. What did my mother see? Does Diana love me?

"What are you talking about with Diana?" ask me after I drive Diana home.

"It's women's talk, you can't know it, Keith." My mother smiled secretively.

"Then can I accept a little leak about Diana's feelings?" Maybe mom will help me with this.

"Ask him. I didn't raise a coward Keith. Fight." My mother's hand rubbed my head.

"All right, Mother." I relented. In the end I didn't get any information.

The longer we get closer. However, Diana was also not separated from the King. At Jordin's family party they both disappeared. They must have met secretly. Doubt began to enter my heart. Did Diana love the King too? Should I just let her be happy? All this time he suffered with me. But what about my own feelings?

Diana comforted me as I tried to cry alone at my mother's funeral. I was so happy that he cared about me, but was that caring just as a friend or a lover?

After that I cancelled our engagement to see Diana's feelings. In the end he did not return. He prefers the King. I gave up and tried to let it go but Iris kept getting angry at me.

"Why did Brother let Sister Diana be taken by someone else? Make effort! Get his love back."

Diana never loved me. He just thinks I'm a friend, Iris doesn't know anything. I didn't bully my sister. Iris hasn't talked to me for days.

Then suddenly Diana came to my residence battered. My body feels cold. I immediately darted to him. His breathing is getting weaker, I'm afraid of losing him again. I carried Diana screaming, "Iris! Iris!"

Iris must be in her experiment room. I shouted back Iris' name. He slammed the door hard. "I still haven't forgiven Big Brother, so don't-" Iris' words came to a halt as soon as she saw Diana's body filled with blood.

"Hurry and get the magic potion!" my orders.

Iris went inside and came out with a bottle of magic potion. He drank it on Diana. Diana's breathing was more regular and her wound instantly healed. We both breathe a sigh of relief.

"How can this be?" ask Iris.

"I don't know either" I replied softly.

We both waited for Diana without speaking anything. As soon as she woke up Diana mentioned another man's name, not mine. It turns out that he really loves the King. However, why did he even come here, instead of to the palace? It must be because of Iris. The greatest potion witch Diana knew was my sister. He thought quickly to save himself.

Diana recounts that the cause of her being battered was Derek. Even in this life he had intended to kill Diana. I'm not gonna let him. I'll protect Diana even if she doesn't love me.

I went to the King to deliver Diana's letter. He didn't believe me that the letter was from his fiancee. After examining the magic from the letter, he just believed.

"I'm asking you to find Derek immediately" I said.

"No need to ask, I'll do it. How's Diana doing?" ask with worried eyes.

"He's fine still in recovery."

"I'll see him."

"You focus on looking for Derek. Diana's salvation and healing will be guaranteed. I'm not gonna do anything to her, you don't have to worry." Actually, that's just my excuse. I don't want Eric to meet Diana.

Eric looked at me sharply, he looked annoyed. "Well, I'll try to trust you."

The last night he stayed at my house, I saw him walking in the park. He looked cold, I put my robe on him. 

Diana wandered around the garden looking at the flowers. She looks so pretty. My heart can't lie, I don't want to see it with people. So I say my love. She cried and turned her body. Diana still hates me. She rejected me. 

I tried to forget it, but it was hard. I busied myself looking for Derek. Then I met her with Diana. Derek told me about a secret I wanted to hide from Diana. Too late. Diana looked at me full of confusion and hatred.
