Retaliation of Disabled Girls
Chapter 53 POV Iris Treating King

I set foot for the first time in the palace. My heart is beating with pleasure. My eyes cannot escape the beauty and luxury of the palace. I think I want to stay here.

I almost forgot my purpose for coming here. Meeting with the King. Actually, I was scared because the last meeting was very presumptuous. But he was also wrong. He wants to destroy a place full of memories of mine.

I immediately went to the palace guard to escort me to the King's office. They had asked me various questions, but I managed to reason with wanting to cure the King. Although in a bad condition it turns out the King is still trying to do all his duties. Sick people should rest. Everything that is done when sick will not produce good results.

I've arrived in front of the King's office. The palace guard returned to his place. I opened the door in front of me.

The sight that was in front of my eyes, was truly terrifying. Piles of documents scattered everywhere. The books on the shelf are not neatly arranged. There were piles of books on the floor that collapsed but were not allowed.

How can anyone work in a place like this?

"What are you coming here for?" king ketus. Dark circles were visible under his eyes. His eyes look so cute and exhausted. However, this did not make me retreat to scold him.

"How can you be at home in a place like this?" ask me in a tone of disbelief.

"It's none of your business." The king resumed his work.

"Why is it so messed up here? Does a king have no aide?"

"Yes," he answered briefly.

"Don't your room be like this, too" I sneered. Everything I had in mind I told him.

"Don't insult me. The waiter cleaned my bedroom." The King's voice is rising. He looked at me sharply.

I approached him. "I'll clean your workspace."

"For what?"

"I can't see this mess" I grumbled.

"I don't need your help."

I keep doing it. I tidied books. The documents I sort by date. The dust in this room was cleaned. Even though the King rejected my offer, he kept quiet to see me. It seems like he was exhausted to the point of not being able to argue with me.

Already done. This room looks more clean and clean. I feel proud of my efforts.

The king was still struggling on his documents. I took the documents away from the King's desk.

"I haven't finished it yet, give it back." The king pointed at the paper I had brought.

"I don't want a sick person to rest."

"Don't interfere with my work." The king came up to me and grabbed the paper in my hand.

"Forcing yourself to work when you are sick is not good for your body and mind. Your illness will get worse. Plus all your work is not right. You're wasting your time." I took the paper back.

"Don't like to interfere in other people's business." The king tried to take my paper but I held it.

"As a good people, I only remind the king."

"Basic-" the King's words came to a halt. He held his head and his balance faltered.

I held him so as not to fall. "Look at it, you can't even stand up properly. Rest first," my scolding.

"There's no doctor or witch potion."

"Why?"

"I don't trust them."

My anger began to rise to the crown. He may not have an adjutant because he does not believe in people. If you do everything alone it will burden yourself. It was still a good thing he was willing to hire servants, and palace magicians. If not, he would do it all by himself.

"Bas stupid."

The king glared at me while pointing at me. "You dare insult the King?"

"I'm just saying the truth."

When he returned, he held his head again. Like I was too outrageous to make sick people angry.

"What do you feel?" manyworry.

He just looked at me without saying a word.

"How can I help you if you don't want to be helped" I murmured.

"I don't need your help," he replied. He was still holding his head, frowning in pain.

"You're acting like this will even hinder yourself and others. The killer is still out there, but you are stubbornly unwilling to be healed. Are you even happy that your number of people is reduced, so there is no need to bother taking care of them?!" I began to grumble at length at this King of fools.

"Enough! Stop talking. My head was dizzy, my body was tired, and I couldn't sleep. Satisfied?!" his yell.

My anger is starting to subside. I smiled trying to calm myself and the King. "Alright, I'll make you a potion. If you're worried about being poisoned, you can see the whole process of making my potion."

The king remained silent. I assume he wants to see the process of making potions. "Do you have any ingredients to make potions?" my continue.

"It's in the closet over there." The king pointed at the cupboard in the corner.

I'll be there to open the closet. Fortunately the King kept some useful materials. It seemed like all this time he was self-medicating by eating these ingredients straight away. It can cure, but it will take longer than being made into a magic potion.

I took his glass. I put roots that can relieve dizziness and fatigue. I showed the ingredients to him. I process everything with magic. The magic potion is ready.

I gave the potion to him. He drank it with hesitation. After it ran out, his face looked brighter. Potion efficacious.

"I'll be back tomorrow to check on you."

"Just give it up." He looked away.

I came back the next day, made magic potions for the King and went home. After I thought I was saying goodbye enough to stop seeing him again.

"It looks like you're healed. I'm not coming back."

He didn't look at me, looked at the paper. I snorted in annoyance. Thank goodness I don't have to come here anymore. When I got to the door, I heard something.

"Thank you."

I smiled without turning around. At least he's knowingly grateful.
