Tarnished Before Accident

Tarnished Before Accident
Chapters 12. A Deal

I don't know why at this time I immediately hugged Rey. Just this time I felt so happy to see Rey. The fear and panic that had been afflicting me had gradually disappeared after the man had arrived.

I don't know, how could Rey be in a place like this. And again, the guy always comes at the right time.

My shame is gone. I hugged Rey as if she had been sent by God as my guardian angel, easing my heartbeat with the fear that had been stirring ever since. However, he did not return my embrace at all.

I'm sober. Immediately I let go of the embrace was exactly the voice of the man who had been yelling at me ever since sounded again. Not thinking too much about Kak Rey's reaction to her cold demeanor, I hid behind the man's back.

Two tall men were standing in front of us.

"Sir Rey, they ...." Sentence hangs. The thick-moustached man said by showing a fierce face.

"Don't be a hero of the night! Hand over the woman, if you still want to breathe."

I saw Rey flinch with the same face. Cold and flat. The man was completely unaffected by the words of the two evil men.

Until the two men attacked simultaneously, I cried out in fear while closing my eyes, covering my mouth with both palms open. The sound of punches and blows sounded grim. Whether it was the sound of a broken bone or a dated tooth, I did not dare to confirm its clarity. My body was completely limp and trembling. What the hell is going on?

In just two minutes. Yeah, just two minutes of that fight, it all went back to silence. There was a scream of pain that made me open my eyes.

Obviously, all of this made me not believe it. The two big men were lying on the ground without being able to rise up against them again. While Rey is not scratched in the slightest. I watched the strangeness.

"Close your mouth! There are a lot of mosquitoes here. I'm afraid those mosquitoes are getting into your stinking mouth."

He said vilely. Smelly mouth? Just yummy. I breathed in my palm through my open mouth, making sure my mouth wasn't as good as the man said.

"My mouth doesn't smell. Please pull back your words!"

He shook his head, then walked away wanting to leave.

"Sir Rey, where are you going? Our business is not done." I ran after him, ignoring the smelly insults he had just said to me. My hand stretched out in front of him, hoping that he would help me once more.

"Please help my friend. He's in danger."

He simply raised next to his eyebrows in response. "Don't interfere too much with other people's business! Better just go home."

I'm shaking. "Please, just this once. He's my only friend. He's really in danger."

I showed her the look of pleading with him. Maybe it's a pushy impression, I don't care. In my mind I want to help Rindi out of her troubles. It flashed through my mind how the old man's depraved attitude towards Rindi. Really, I can't bear to let Rindi's future be ruined because of that perverted old man.

"What's the deal with me?"

I gaped back, not expecting Rey to say that. I thought he was a helper angel, but it turned out to be just a cruel demon pretending to be good.

"Where is your humanity? My friend is being harassed by an old man, but you are asking what is his business with you? Your mind is so short."

My insults were only met with a twitch of the shoulder. He really did not care about Rindi's fate. I pulled his hand when he was about to walk away.

"Why are you so bad? Help Rindi just once. I'll take this as a debt of gratitude."

He stopped walking, turned to me then.

"I'll help her, but .. marry me."

The hand that I had been throwing out immediately. How in a precarious situation like this is he still discussing marriage?

"I don't want to. Don't force me!"

"Then, please help yourself. I'm going home. Rena's waiting for me."

"Go! I'll ask for help from the people at the patrol station." I screamed at him. Very upset by the way the man thought. Why would he come here if there was no intention of helping?

"If you can." He showed a faint thin smile. "The guy you're talking about is having a booze party at the patrol station."

"What's? A booze party?" I said softly, surprised by the reality.

I'm still confused by the security system in Rindi village. Why do people not care about the fate of others?

He walked away again, leaving me in a dilemma. I'm confused how. Rindi is in trouble. He was a friend at once I considered a brother. I can't bear it if the girl goes through such suffering.

Yes, God, how is this?

I shook weakly. Immediately I bowed to Rey who was walking leisurely, then confronted him in front with his arms outstretched. With little difficulty speaking, I finally made a deal with him.

"I want to marry you, but on one condition!"

...***...

We went back to Rindi's house. Slightly hesitant when deciding to ask for help Rey's sister considering the man was only alone. Is this the same as suicide?

There, Rindi was still crying by hugging her family. His two sisters were huddled in his mother's arms. They're all scared.

"Let them go!" Rey confidently shouted at them: three large-bodied men with strange images in their muscular hands and an old man with a waistline.

"Bother again," said the old man with a dismissive smile. However, when his eyes looked at me, he looked surprised. "You, how did it get away. Where are my two men?"

"Dead." Rey replied casually.

"Fuck up! Finish this fucking guy!"

Rey turned her head towards me, hinting for me to back away from her. Honestly, I'm afraid anything will happen to Rey. He did not carry any weapons, but the three long-haired men took out sharp, pointed knives and played them in front of everyone.

"Be careful, Brother!" I warned. He responded with a thin nod.

They attacked Kak Rey by lifting the navel, wanting to harm Kak Rey by stabbing her simultaneously. My mouth can't stop screaming. I'm afraid Rey's sister is hurt. Kak Rey's posture is not balanced with them, making me panic and suspect bad things might happen.

If anything happens to Rey, I'll take the blame. Sis Rena will definitely be sad, and Mama .... I don't know what Mom would do to me. The old man chuckled. His voice was extremely irritating, laughing at the unbalanced opponent.

My sweat came pouring out, seeing Kak Rey trying to resist the attack and avoid the sabetage of sharp objects they lay on his body.

I dare not look. My body was trembling, feeling a great horror. Until my eyes saw a floor full of fresh blood. A smell of water pierced my nose. Bigitu's clingy and dense color stained the white ceramic.

Rey, what's going on?

Unexpectedly, from the unequal fight, Rey was still standing there, while three large-bodied men had been sprawled with puncture wounds in several places.

Hazel eyes that usually looked beautiful, stared at the old man sharply and horribly. A strange glint was clearly visible in the man's eyeball. I don't even recognize him right now.

Rey, what are you human?

...****************...

Already know, dong, Rey is whose descendant? 😁😁

Btw, some say the story is not like a flying fish drama. What is a flying fish drama like, anyway? Honestly, the TV at home only when there is a badminton match and ball. Others die.

I'm just trying to give you the best version of the story. Jd, sorry if you don't like the story. 😁
